Abstract

一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体及固持于绝缘本体上的端子,所述端子具有相对延伸的两个延伸臂及连接两延伸臂的连接部,所述两延伸臂之间具有空隙,所述端子具有击打部,所述击打部是在垂直于两延伸臂决定的平面上击打端子形成,端子被击打后两延伸臂间的空隙减小,通过击打端子使得两延伸臂间的空隙减小,避免了由减小冲压空隙所对应的模具实体部分带来的不便。

电连接器 
【技术领域】
本发明涉及一种电连接器,尤其涉及一种用于连接柔性印刷电路板、扁平排线等片状连接体的电连接器。 
【背景技术】
通常用于连接柔性印刷电路板、扁平排线等片状连接体的电连接器包括有绝缘本体和导电端子,所述端子具有相对平行延伸的两臂,所述两臂之间具有可容片状连接体***的空隙。随着电连接器小型化的发展趋势,电连接器的尺寸越来越小,通常导电端子两臂间的空隙也会随之变小,以满足要求。然而,端子一般是由冲压成型,当端子两臂间的空隙变小时,冲压所述空隙的模具部分也将变小,因此模具的强度将变小,有时可能无法完成冲压。 
因此,确有必要提供一种能克服上述缺陷的电连接器。 
【发明内容】
本发明所要解决的技术问题在于:提供一种端子两延伸臂间的空隙较小的电连接器。 
为解决上述问题,本发明电连接器采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体及固持于绝缘本体上的端子,所述端子由金属板冲压形成,其具有相对延伸的两延伸臂及连接两延伸臂的连接部,所述两延伸臂之间设有空隙,所述端子具有击打部,所述击打部的厚度较形成端子的金属板的厚度薄。 
与现有技术相比,本发明电连接器具有如下有益效果:本发明电连接器的端子是通过击打部变薄来调节两延伸臂之间的空隙,避免了由减小冲压空隙所对应的模具实体部分带来的不便。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1至图4所示,本发明电连接器100包括绝缘本体2、固持于绝缘本体2上的端子1、组装于绝缘本体2上的转压板3及一对抓板件4。 
所述绝缘本体2具有向上的开口21及位于绝缘本体2后部的端子固持部23。所述固持部23包括平板部232及位于平板部232上的数个凸起部231。绝缘本体2的两侧部分别设有用于收容抓板件4的收容槽24。 
所述端子1具有第一延伸臂11、与第一延伸臂11相对延伸的第二延伸臂12、连接第一、第二延伸臂11、12的连接部14及沿与第二延伸臂12相反方向延伸的焊接部15。所述第一延伸臂11与第二延伸臂12间具有可容片状连接体***的空隙13。所述两延伸臂11、12均设有可与片状连接体电性接触的接触部。所述第一延伸臂11的头部设有与转压板3相配合的枢转部111。如图3及图4所示,所述端子1从后部***绝缘本体2中,平板部232位于两延伸臂11、12之间,以干涉配合的形式固持端子1。第一延伸臂11位于相邻两凸起部231之间。 
所述转压板3呈板状,其设有收容第一延伸臂11头部的通槽31、位于通槽31中可与第一延伸臂11的枢转部111相枢转配合的的凸轮部32及位于两端且收容于收容槽24中的端轴33。 
所述抓板件4组装于绝缘本体2的收容槽24中。所述端轴33位于抓板件4的下方,且抓板件4对端轴33有限位的作用。因此转压板3可在打开状态和关闭状态间旋转,当转压板3位于打开状态时凸轮部32顶起第一延伸臂11可容片状连接体***,当转压板3位于关闭状态时,第一延伸臂11弹性恢复到原始状态,端子1与片状连接体电性连接。 
请参阅图5所示,所述端子1是由金属片冲压成型,第一延伸臂11及第二延伸臂12间的空隙13是由模具上相应的实体冲压形成。随着电连接器小型化的发展趋势,所述空隙13需要变小以满足要求,因此模具上对应的实体部分也会相应变小以冲压出满足要求的端子1,所以会影响模具的强度,甚至无 法生产。本发明电连接器的端子1的生产无须改变模具对应实体的尺寸,而是以正常的模具冲压,然后用棒状物6在垂直于第一及第二延伸臂11、12所界定的平面方向上击打端子1的连接部14或者击打第一延伸臂11或者击打第二延伸臂12均可使两延伸臂11、12间的空隙13变小。如图6所示,经过击打连接部14靠近第一延伸臂11的部位使空隙13的尺寸由原来的I变为II。击打端子1的不同部位,可以使空隙13获得不同的尺寸。因此避免了用小尺寸的模具来冲压空隙13带来的不便。击打后端子上形成击打部,且击打部向内凹陷,击打部的厚度较形成端子金属片的厚度薄。这种击打端子1使空隙13的尺寸变小的方式,可以称为重定位方式。所述重定位是通过击打端子1的某个部位,使被击打部分的材料重新组织,例如使击打部分变薄、应力发生变化等,从而使得端子1两延伸臂间11、12间的空隙13变小。以上两延伸臂11、12间的空隙是指两延伸臂上接触部间的空隙即通过两接触部顶点的平面间的距离。 
棒状物6的尺寸和用其击打的力度的不同也会影响空隙13的大小,应视具体要求选用相应尺寸的棒状物6及用其击打的力度。例如,选用头部直径为0.2mm的棒状物6,击打的部位如图6所示,击打的深度为0.038mm,可使空隙13的尺寸从0.14mm减小到0.06mm。选用其他尺寸的棒状物6和击打深度,可以获得其他尺寸的空隙13。 

Claims (5)

1.一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体及固持于绝缘本体上的端子,所述端子由金属板冲压形成,其具有相对延伸的两延伸臂及连接两延伸臂的连接部,所述两延伸臂之间设有空隙,其特征在于:所述端子具有击打部,所述击打部的厚度较形成端子的金属板的厚度薄。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述击打部位于连接部上。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述击打部位于延伸臂上。
4.如权利要求1或2或3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述两延伸臂的相对侧设有接触部。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述两接触部间的空隙小于0.06mm。
