优选实施方式
图1-6表示根据本发明一个目前的优选实施方案的容器20。容器20为单件整体吹塑结构,其具有主体22,所述的主体22具有底部24、侧壁26和颈部瓶口(neck finish)28。如图3中最佳地看出,侧壁26和底部24为椭圆结构。颈部瓶口28为圆筒状,并且具有围绕容器开口的圆周连续的外部颈缘30。颈缘30具有底面32,所述的底面32在垂直于颈部瓶口轴线的轴线上为平坦和平面的。平坦的底面32提供与在两段重热拉伸吹塑设备上的引入和引出爪的正对准。此外,底面32用于固定气溶胶分配闭合件的卷曲(图10)。位于颈部瓶口28开口端的容器口的内径在34(图5)被倒角,以便于分配闭合件的安置与固定(例如图10)。
颈部瓶口28优选的还包括了与容器开口分开的外部支撑凸缘36,有时被称为封口凸缘或转移凸缘。凸缘36是圆周连续的,并且垂直于颈部瓶口的轴线。凸缘36具有的周向边沿优选包括至少一个定位元件38,用于定向容器20的椭圆截面。在图1-6的实施方案中,由图3最佳地看出,定位元件38是与椭圆容器截面的短轴对齐的、位于凸缘的周边上的凹口。自动封口设备可以使用凹口38,用来相对于容器瓶口有角度地定位分配闭合件,从而所述闭合件将产物相对于容器截面在所希望的方向上分配,例如在容器的短轴方向上。
图6所示为容器底部24的优选结构。底部24优选是所谓的香槟式底部,具有向外凸出的中央部分或圆顶40以及周向立环42。立环42的厚度44优选为容器侧壁26的厚度46的2至2.5倍。底部24被设计成用于固定容器侧壁并在容器的压力下维持容器侧壁的椭圆形外形或者轮廓。底部24的厚度轮廓可以设计为环绕容器轴线具有恒定的厚度剖面,或者在容器截面的长轴和短轴上具有两种独特的剖面,所述剖面在长轴和短轴之间彼此接合。
图7-9所示为根据本发明第二实施方案的容器50。除了位于颈部瓶口支撑凸缘36上的定位元件外,容器50与图1-6中的容器20基本相同。在图7-9实施方案中,支撑凸缘上的定位元件包含了在椭圆形容器截面的短轴处、颈部瓶口28的直径相对侧上的一对向外延伸的凸起52。
图10为一种常规气溶胶分配闭合件60,其包括卷曲在颈缘30上的金属环62,用于将分配闭合件固定到本发明气溶胶容器上。
本发明的容器可由任意适合制造技术制备。优选在重热吹塑工艺中制备容器,其中,首先例如由注塑或压塑制造预成型坯,随后将预成型坯重热和吹塑,以形成容器主体。优选在预成型阶段形成包括颈缘30和支撑凸缘36的容器颈部瓶口。容器可以由任意适合的塑料材料如聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)制备;并且可以是单层结构或多层结构,所述的多层结构包括一层或多层内部阻挡层,例如尼龙或乙烯-乙烯醇(EVOH)。根据本发明的另一个特征,多层侧壁结构中的一层可以具有高的玻璃化转变温度Tg,这有助于阻止容器主体的变形。例如,容器侧壁可以具有两层结构:(1)厚度为有0.042英寸和玻璃化转变温度为70℃的PET,和(2)厚度为0.028英寸和玻璃化转变温度为115℃的无定形尼龙。
因此,本发明公开了一种塑料容器及制造塑料容器的方法,它们特别良好地适用于气溶胶应用,并且它们完全满足了上面提出的所有目的和目标。本发明结合两个当前的优选实施方案进行了公开,并论述了许多修改和变化。鉴于上述公开,本领域的普通技术人员可以进行其它修改和变化。

Claims (10)

1.一种在压力下容纳气溶胶内含物的塑料容器,其包括:
单件整体模制塑料主体,所述塑料主体具有底部、侧壁和颈部瓶口,其中所述侧壁和所述底部为椭圆截面,并且所述底部具有用于在所述的主体内的压力下维持所述椭圆截面的外形和截面,
所述颈部瓶口具有由周向连续的外部颈缘环绕的开口,所述的外部颈缘用于固定分配闭合件,
所述颈缘具有垂直于所述颈部瓶口的轴线的平坦底面,
所述颈部瓶口围绕所述开口的被倒角的内侧边沿,以便于连接分配闭合件。
2.按照权利要求1所述的容器,其中所述颈部瓶口包括了与所述外部颈缘分开的支撑凸缘。
3.按照权利要求2所述的容器,其中所述支撑凸缘的周向边沿具有至少一个定位元件,以便于使所述椭圆截面定向。
4.按照权利要求3所述的容器,其中所述至少一个定位元件位于所述椭圆截面的短轴上。
5.按照权利要求4所述的容器,其中所述的至少一个定位元件包括沿着所述短轴、在所述颈部瓶口的相对侧上的一对定位元件。
6.按照权利要求4所述的容器,其中所述至少一个定位元件为凹口或凸起。
7.按照权利要求1所述的容器,其中所述底部为香槟式底部,所述香槟式底部具有由中央向外凸出部分和周向立环。
8.按照权利要求7所述的容器,其中所述立环的厚度为所述侧壁厚度的2至2.5倍。
9.按照权利要求1所述的容器,其中
所述的主体为多层结构,其包括至少一层第一材料的相对较厚的层和至少一层第二材料的相对较薄的层,所述的第二材料的玻璃化转变温度高于所述第一材料的玻璃化转变温度,以便于维持容器主体的椭圆截面。
10.一种制造塑料容器的方法,该方法包括:吹塑单件塑料主体的步骤,所述的塑料主体具有底部、侧壁和颈部瓶口,其中所述侧壁和所述底部为椭圆截面,并且该底部具有用于在所述的主体内的压力下维持所述椭圆截面的外形和截面,
所述颈部瓶口具有由圆周连续的外部颈缘环绕的开口,所述的外部颈缘用于固定分配闭合件,
所述颈缘具有垂直于所述颈部瓶口的轴线的平坦底面,
