In jeder Lage ruht der Körper also vollkommen entspannt.
Seating and reclining chair The invention relates to a sitting and reclining chair in which a back part, a seat part and a foot part are advantageously movably supported with the help of fittings on a chair frame and are connected to one another in such a way that the inclination of the body in The person resting in the armchair backwards or forwards the conversion from one position to the other is effected by changing the angular position of the individual parts to one another.
The main requirement that has to be made of such an armchair is that the respective transformation takes place without special manipulations and without great effort, simply by corresponding body movement of the person resting in the armchair, and that in each of them any position between the two limit positions an equilibrium position is guaranteed. This requirement is only imperfectly fulfilled in the known embodiments of such armchairs.
It has been shown to be disadvantageous that a balanced intermediate position between the two limit positions without keeping the body in a tensioned state is not possible, or that a cumbersome and expensive mechanism consisting of many levers and joint parts is required to make it easier to change position.
These disadvantages should be eliminated by the fiction, contemporary training of the seat and recliner. This assumes that the movable armchair parts, the back part, the seat part and the legrest are connected to one another, whereby according to the invention the back part can be pivoted around an axis of rotation as a one-armed lever, which is at least approximately perpendicular under the center of gravity of one of the Armchair occupying person lies. The back part thus forms a one-armed lever pivotable about this fixed axis of rotation.
The seat part can be articulated to this above the axis of rotation by hinges and it can still be held and guided in the front part of the fixed frame in such a way that when the back part is pivoted backwards or forwards, next to the backwards or forwards Forward movement experiences a change in the inclination. The leg rest, which is hinged to the front edge of the seat part, can be held and guided by a movable strut arranged coaxially with the pivot axis of the seat part.
During the movement of the seat part, this strut then forms a compulsory guide for the leg support in the sense that it is forced into an approximately horizontal position. With this arrangement, it is sufficient to shift the body weight by moving the upper body backwards or forwards to bring the armchair from the sitting position to the lying position or vice versa or any other possible position in between, with the weight acting backwards balanced is made by the legs lying on the leg support and the seat part. The body rests completely relaxed in every position.
The armchair is balanced in every position by the leverage that increases when the upper body is tilted backwards and the increased leverage of the legrest when it is raised, the latter having an equally strong counter-pull on the front edge of the seat.
In the accompanying drawing, two exemplary embodiments of a sitting and reclining chair according to the invention are shown, each showing in the two limit positions: FIGS. 1 and 2 the first exemplary embodiment in side view, in which the leg support assumes a vertical position in the sitting position and Fig. 3 and 4 the second embodiment, in which the leg support is folded in the sitting position under the seat part.
According to the drawing, the fixed armchair frame has a pair of side parts with armrests 1, feet 2 and connecting frames 3, with two transverse frames, en 01 4 and 5 are connected to each other. The movable armchair parts are the back part 6 the seat part 7 and the leg support 8 which are interconnected by the hinges 9 or 10 are connected.
The back frame 6 is extended downwards and is fastened there to the transverse frame 5 with hinge 11 , so that hinge 11 represents the pivot axis of the back part. The position of this hinge is chosen so that the pivot axis is approximately perpendicular below the center of gravity of a person sitting in the armchair. The seat part 7 is held and guided on pivot pins 12 fixedly arranged in the frame, by means of the slotted plate 15 which is screwed to the seat frame. When converting ver the seat part moves by means of the slot 14 on the pin 12. It is useful to watch rollers on the pin 12 to facilitate the movement.
The slot 14 has a specific shape which adapts to the task that the seat part 7 simultaneously changes its position during its backward movement due to the pivoting of the back part 6 Lean is experienced by raising its front edge. This can be clearly seen from the drawing. Coaxially with the pivot 12, the strut 16 is articulated on the chair frame, the other end of which is below the hinge 10 on the leg support 8 </ B > attacks.
This strut is shaped in such a way that it forces the leg support 8 , which is carried along during the backward and pivoting movement of the seat part 7 , into an approximately horizontal position.
While in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 the footrest hangs down straight in the sitting position, according to FIGS. 3 and 4 it is folded under the seat so that it remains invisible. This different arrangement can be achieved through the position of the hinge 10 .
In the first case the hinge axis is located on the upper edge, in the second case on the lower edge of the seat part 7. In the second case, the leg support has to go through a different pivoting path from the folded position into the position of use and Their function as a legrest only occurs after the back part 6 with the seat part 7 has already swung back a little. In order to have a full balance of the shifting weights in every position, a tension spring 17 is arranged, which is attached on the one hand to the fixed cross frame 4 of the chair frame and on the other hand to the back extension between the Pivot axis 11 and the hinge 9 engages.
This spring counteracts the force that is exerted on the back part 6 when the upper body is tilted backwards, and then effects when the footrest 8 is pivoted around, together with the on these lying legs a counterbalance.
The leadership or suspension of the seat in the chair frame can also be vorgenom men in other ways. It only needs to be ensured that the seat is positively guided on a track in order to enable it to make the desired change in position during the pivoting movement of the back part.
