Single-lens reflex camera with interchangeable lens and aperture preselection device The invention relates to a single-lens reflex camera with exchangeable lens and a diaphragm preselection device.
Aperture preselection devices allow, as is known, to set the aperture value desired for a photographic exposure without moving the aperture blades at the same time. Rather, the diaphragm remains fully open so that a viewfinder image with the greatest possible brightness can be viewed. The aperture is only closed to the preset value when a photographic recording is made. There are known constructions in which this closure has to be done by hand by rotating the diaphragm adjusting ring until it hits a preset stop.
It is also known to derive the closing movement of the shutter from the movement of camera organs, for example the shutter release button. When you press it, the shutter closes automatically to the preset value. Constructions are known in which the diaphragm automatically opens fully again after a photograph has been taken, so that the viewfinder image can always be seen in the greatest brightness.
The aperture preselection devices are usually built into the mount of the lens or structurally connected to it. If the lens is detachable from the camera, that is to say a so-called replacement lens, a special diaphragm preselection device must then be built into each interchangeable lens provided for this camera. This makes the interchangeable lens more expensive.
Difficulties arise with these constructions if the aperture preselection and aperture setting member located on the interchangeable lens is to be able to be coupled with a shutter speed setting member remaining on the camera body for the purpose of setting the exposure value.
The loosening or the production of such a coupling when replacing the lenses requires specially designed coupling members that, in particular with long focal length lenses, have to bridge a large distance between the actuators to be coupled, which increases the risk of damage are exposed.
The invention overcomes these difficulties. According to the invention it is provided that in a camera of the type mentioned, the aperture preselection device is permanently installed in the camera body and is connected to the aperture in the interchangeable lens by force transmission members which run in the direction of the optical axis and act. Preferably, these force transmission organs run inside the lens mount.
There is therefore only a single aperture preselection device for all interchangeable lenses intended for the camera. There are no aperture preselection or aperture setting handles on the interchangeable lens mount itself, so that the mount can be designed as a simple smooth body.
The aperture preselection handle is mounted on the camera body so that its coupling with the time setting element of the camera shutter in the sense of setting the exposure value can be produced in a simple and customary manner.
A diaphragm preselection device is known which is permanently installed in a camera body as a self-contained assembly on the side of a lens. In this case, however, the lens is also firmly connected to the camera body. A ring gear formed on the aperture adjusting member of the lens mount meshes with a drive gear of the aperture preselection device. This construction does not allow the lens to be easily exchanged, because the ring gear and the gearwheel have to mesh in a certain way for the correct function.
The force transmission members provided according to the invention between the diaphragm preselection device and the diaphragm enable the objective to be exchanged in a simple manner.
The subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment, but without limiting itself to this example alone.
1 shows a top view, partially in section, of an objective attached to a camera body, and FIG. 2 shows the front view of the camera housing shown in FIG. 1 with the objective removed. 1 with a camera housing is referred to, a tubular extension 3 is attached to the sen wall. In this a coupling ring 4 is held and rotated bar. It has a plurality of bayonet tabs 5 which can engage behind the corresponding counter tabs 6 of an interchangeable lens mount 7, which can thereby be connected to the attachment 3, that is to say the camera body, for a tight fit.
A pin 8 or the like is attached to the mount 7, for which a hole is provided in the end face of the tubular extension 3, so that the lens mount 7 can only be attached to the extension 3 when the pin 8 protrudes into this hole.
An iris diaphragm is built into the mount 7. The diaphragm blades, of which only one is Darge and is denoted by 9, are mounted on the one hand on a non-adjustable ring 10 and on the other hand on a lamella adjusting ring 11. A tension spring 12 acts on the lamellae im 11, pulling it into a position in which the iris diaphragm is fully open.
There is also an inclined surface 13 on the lamella adjusting ring 11, against which a diaphragm adjusting pin 14, which is axially displaceably mounted in the lens mount 7, rests. When the lens is attached to the camera housing 1, this diaphragm adjusting pin 14 comes into contact with a stylus 15 which is axially displaceable in the camera housing 1. This is held by a spring 16 in contact with one arm 17 of a scanning lever 18 which is pivotably supported on a lever 19.
The lever 19 is pivotable about a bolt 20 or the like fastened in the wall of the camera housing 1 and rests with its arm 21 against a shutter release button 22 located in the camera front wall 2. In the area of movement of the arm 23 of the scanning lever 18 there is a control cam 24 which is located on the aperture preselection ring 25 which is rotatably mounted around the extension 3 and is provided with an aperture value scale, the adjustment handle of which is denoted by 250.
A shutter speed setting ring 26 with an adjustment handle 260 is mounted in the housing wall coaxially to the aperture preselection ring 25. It is axially displaceable against a circularly curved leaf spring 28 and has a groove 29 running parallel to its axis, into which one of several coupling pins 30 attached to the diaphragm preselection ring 25 can engage.
In addition, a coupling pin 31 engages in this groove 29, which is fastened to an adjusting ring 32 which is connected via an intermediate gear 33 to the shutter speed setting member (not shown) of a focal plane shutter. In the position of the parts shown in FIG. 1, both coupling pins 30 and 31 engage in the groove 29, so that the aperture preselection ring 25 is rigidly coupled to the shutter speed setting ring 26.
When the shutter speed setting ring 26 is displaced against the force of the leaf spring 28, the coupling pin 30 emerges from the groove 29 so that the aperture preselection ring 25 and the shutter speed setting ring 26 can be adjusted relative to one another. Another coupling pin 30 can then be brought into engagement in the groove 29 so that the aperture preselection ring 25 and the shutter speed setting ring 26 are coupled to one another at a different exposure value. The number of coupling pins 30 on the aperture preselection ring 25 corresponds to at least the number of intended exposure values.
However, more pins 30 can also be provided so that intermediate exposure values can also be set.
A tab 34 is also attached to the aperture preselection ring 25, in the movement area of which a kidney-shaped recess 35 is made in the end wall of the tubular extension 3. In this outbreak 35 occurs on the interchangeable lens mount 7 is introduced stop pin 36. It then protrudes into the area of movement of the tab 34 on the aperture preselection ring 25.
The stop pin 36 is attached to each interchangeable lens mount at such a point that it limits the range of movement of the aperture preselection ring 25 to the aperture preselection value corresponding to its respective light intensity. The aperture preselection ring 25 can therefore only ever be set to those aperture preselection values to which the aperture of the interchangeable lens used in each case can also be adjusted. At the same time, it is also prevented that an interchangeable lens can be placed on the camera if the aperture preselection ring 25 is set to an aperture preselection value to which the aperture of the lens to be attached cannot be adjusted.
Then the stop pin 36 on the interchangeable lens mount 7 meets the tab 34. Only after the aperture preselection ring 25 has been adjusted to any other aperture preselection value to which the aperture of the lens to be attached can also be set can this object be activated on the camera attached.
The mode of operation of the aperture preselection device is as follows: In FIG. 1 the aperture preselection ring 25 is set to the aperture value 2. This corresponds to the light intensity of the interchangeable lens currently attached to the camera. When the shutter release button 22 is actuated in the direction of the arrow 37, the lever 19 pivots about the bolt 20.
At the same time, the scanning lever 18, which is supported by its arm 17 on the stylus 15, pivots without, however, adjusting the stylus 15. At the end of the movement of the shutter release button 22, during which the camera shutter is released in a known manner at the same time, the arm 23 of the scanning lever 18 just comes to rest on the control cam 24 of the aperture preselection ring 25.
When the shutter release button 22 is actuated, the diaphragm is not adjusted, but remains open to the preselected and also the largest possible diaphragm value 2. After adjusting the aperture preselection ring 25 to a different aperture preselection value, when the shutter release button 22 is actuated, the arm 23 of the scanning lever 18 sooner or later encounters the control cam 24.
He is then based on this and presses during the further movement of the shutter release button 22 with his arm 17 on the stylus 15 and pushes it ver. The stylus 15 in turn moves the diaphragm adjusting pin 14, which rotates the lamellar adjusting ring 11 by pressing on the inclined surface 13, whereupon the iris diaphragm begins to close. At the end of the movement of the shutter release button 22, that is to say at the moment the shutter is released, the iris diaphragm is then closed down to the preselected value.
After releasing the shutter release button 22, the members adjusting the diaphragm return to the initial position shown, so that the iris diaphragm opens fully again.
