Elastically deformable radial clamping element There are known elastically deformable radial clamping elements in the form of a truncated-conical circular ring disc of relatively small thickness with radially the disc surface more than half its width alternating from the inner and outer circumference through set slots. In the forms used so far, the spokes run these clamping elements essentially radially.
As a result, the radial forces acting on such a tensioning element from outside and inside () act in pairs on the spokes in the same radial direction and produce compressive stresses in them.
Since the spokes are rigid in compression, the tension in the radial direction is determined solely by the radial space between the cylinder surfaces to be connected and the outer and inner circumference of the tensioning element. This radial tensioning path includes a certain axial tensioning path, that is, a certain displacement of those axially displaceable clamping parts that flatten the tensioning element and cause the tight fit of its outer and inner circumference on the cylinder surfaces to be clamped together.
The fact that a certain axial clamping path is required to achieve the fixed clamping path is disadvantageously noticeable in those cases in which there is no axial clamping device that can be continuously adjusted to any clamping path, but this one is designed so that it allows only a certain axial clamping path. The purpose of the invention
to eliminate this disadvantage by a new design of a radial clamping element of the specified type. The invention relates to an elastically deformable radial clamping element in the form of a truncated cone-shaped ring body with at least 15011 opening angle of the cone, where the thickness of the ring body is at most one tenth of its largest dimension and the ring body is arranged alternately on its inner and outer circumferential edge, each peripheral edge, seen axially,
'Has support surfaces lying on a circle, which element is characterized in that each segment connecting two adjacent support surfaces lying on the same circumference forms a bending beam, in the center of which the between the two Support surfaces is arranged on the other peripheral edge lying support surface.
It is useful if the two adjacent outer support surfaces connect the segments of the ring body in the direction of the tangent to the circle in the center of the inner support surface.
The basic shapes of the outer and inner edges can be similar polygons with sides lying parallel to one another, with the outer support surfaces at the corners advantageously being arranged in the middle of the sides and the inner support surfaces. In order to reduce the resistance of the ring body to the flattening, it is advisable to arrange radially extending slots at the ends of the segments from the inner and / or outer peripheral edge.
In the drawing, three execution forms of the subject matter of the invention are shown as an example, namely show: Fig. 1 the first embodiment in An sees, Fig. 2 in section along the line II --- # II of FIG 1, FIG. 3, a second embodiment in An and FIG. 4 in section along the line IV-IV of FIG. 3,
FIG. 5 shows a third embodiment in an and FIG. 6 shows a section along the line VI-VI in FIG. 5 >
The radial clamping element 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is essentially delimited by two hexagons as a basic shape with mutually parallel sides. At the corners of the outer sea hexagon, seen axially, support fleece 2 lying on a circle are arranged, in the middle of the sides of the inner hexagon, support fleece 2 likewise lying on a circle.
In the case of the load resulting from the body to be clamped, at which forces on the outer support surfaces 2 in the direction of the arrows 4 and on the inner support surfaces 3 in the direction of the arrows 5 > act, each each two supporting surfaces 21 connecting segments 6 forms a bending beam, which at its ends is supported by the forces 4 supported and loaded in its center by the forces 5 .
This achieves greater resilience of the clamping element, which makes it possible to always press the clamping element fully flat regardless of the radial gap to be bridged and to maintain the axial clamping pressure by simple means, for example a snap ring.
The radial tensioning element 7 shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 has four segments 8 acting as bending beams, which at the corners of the through them four outer support surfaces 9 and four inner support surfaces 1-0 in the middle. Near the ends of the bending beams are from the inner circumferential edge Expansion slots 11 and expansion cords 12 extending from the outer circumferential edge are brazed.
In the embodiment of a radial tensioning element according to FIGS. 5 and 6, the end points of the bending beams lie in the support surfaces 10 on the inner edge, while the loaded center is formed by the outer support surfaces 9 . The general shape of the radial tensioning element is an annular disk 13 which has expansion slots 14 on its outer edge.
In all examples, the opening angle a (FIG. 2) is at least 1500 and the thickness d at most one tenth of the largest dimension b of the ring body.
