Dans les boîtes de montre -de ce genre, l'étan chéité est généralement réalisée par la coopé- ration de deux surfaces parallèles au plan du mouvement. Cette étanchéité n'est guère,dura- bie, -cardans les boîtes à fermeture à cran,
la pression exercée entre les deux pièces tend à déformer la pièce la moins rigide et dans lies boites à fermetme à vis, le moindre défaut du filetage empêche ;
les deux surfaces -de contact d'être parfaitement parallèles. La présente invention remédie à cet inconvénient par le fait que l'étanchéité -du joint entre les deux pièces, assemblées à cran ou à vis,

Dans la boîte d e montre de la fig. 1, le fond 3 -est assemblé à la carrure 4 par un pas de vis 5. La carrure 4 présente en outre un manchon cylindrique 6 dont la surface extérieure 6' est pempendsculaime au plan du mouvement, mais pourrait être aussi légère ment conique.
L'étanchéité du joint est réalisée entre cette surface 6' et une surface 7 égale ment cylindrique que comporte lie fond, par l'intermédiaire d'un paquetage annulaire élas tique 8.
La construction de la fig. 2 ne diffère d e la première qu'en ce que le pas de vis 5 est remplacé par un cran 9.
