Waterproof watch box. The object of the present invention is a waterproof watch case comprising a back joined to a case body by an assembly device having at least two perforated bos wise, one of which is carried by this back and the other by this body,
the axis of. bores of the bosses being located in a plane parallel to that of the joint between the bottom and the box body, this box being constructed so that when the surfaces of the seal are in simple contact, the bore of the bottom boss is not not exactly in line with the bore of that of the gearbox body,
at least one pointed rod passing through one ides, bosses and penetrating by its point into the borehole of the other to bring and maintain the bores in alignment so as to clamp together the bottom and the box body. This box is charac- terized in that the latter includes a bezel which carries one of the aforementioned bosses and a caseband against which the back is clamped by the assembly device.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view thereof, FIGS. 2 and 3 are a section through II-II, respectively III-III of fig. 1.
The watch case shown comprises a back 9 and a case body formed of a caseband 10, a bezel II and a glass 12. The back bears, on each of its small sides, a boss 1 & penetrating. between the two bosses 14 and 15, of the bezel. In the seal, between the caseband and the back is placed the seal - 16.
When the two rods 17 and 18, after passing through the bosses of the bezel, enter the bottom one, they apply the latter against the gasket 16. Two gaskets 19 and 20 are placed, one above -and the the other below the edge of the glass and are tight as well as the latter between the middle part and the bezel.
The fact that, in addition to the glass, the case is made up of three parts, bezel, middle part and back, facilitates the fitting and makes it possible, in particular, to screw the pull-tab screw on the side of the bridges.
