Description

  

  Verfahren zum Enthärten von Wasser.    Es wurde gefunden, dass Milchsäure un  ter Anwendung von phosphorsauren Salzen  das Wasser enthärtet. Durch den Zusatz von  Milchsäure zum Wasser wird ein Teil der  Mineralstoffe desselben in wasserlösliche,  milchsaure Salze übergeführt. Um die Sul  fate des Wassers (Kalk-Magnesiumsulfat)  unschädlich zu machen, werden in .diesem  Phosphate, wie zum Beispiel Natriumphos  phat, aufgelöst. Die Sulfate, aber auch die  milchsauren Salze, setzen sich vermutlich  nach     komplizierten    Vorgängen mit den Phos  phaten um. Derart behandeltes Wasser eignet  sich zum Beispiel als Kesselspeisewasser.    Milchsäure wird schon lange bei der  Enthärtung von Wasser verwendet. Neu ist  der Zusatz von phosphorsauren Salzen neben  Milchsäure.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Es wird 1 Liter Quellwasser mit 0,7 gr  Milchsäure gemischt und 1 gr     Dinatrium-          phosphat    im Wasser aufgelöst.

  <I> Example: </I> 1 liter of spring water is mixed with 0.7 gram of lactic acid and 1 gram of disodium phosphate is dissolved in the water.
