Zirkel. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist eile Zirkel, der sich durch seine billige Herstellbarkeit vorteilhaft auszeichnet. Der selbe ist besonders als Schulzirkel sehr ge eignet und dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schenkel aus wenigstens annähernd in U- oder V-Form gebrachtem Blech bestehen, die Stege der Schenkel am Kopfe entfernt sind, der eine Schenkel ztlm Halten eines Nadel fusses mit einer Klemmschraube und der andere Schenkel mit einem Bleistift- bezw. Reissfederhalter versehen ist.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht ein Aus führungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes durch Fig. 1 im Aufriss, durch hig. 2 in Seitenansicht und durch Fig. 3 in einem Schnitt nach der Linie x-x in Fig. 1; Fig. 4 zeigt eine Detailvariante im Quer- schnitt.
Jeder der beiden Zirkelschenkel 1 und 2 iFig. 1 bis 3) ist aus einem Stück Blech gestanzt und in U-Form gepresst. Das Kopf ende 3, 3' jedes Schenkels ist scheibenförmig gestaltet, wobei an diesem Ende der Steg 4 jedes Schenkels weggenommen ist. Die Kopf enden beider Schenkel sind ineinander ge- schoben, und es sind zwischen die beiden Schienkel des innern Kopfendes zwei aus gestanzte, mit den Bramen gegeneinander gekehrte Scheiben 5 gelegt.
Die Kopfenden der Zirkelschenkel und die Scheiben 5 sind vom Zirkelachsstift 6 durchzogen, dessen Kopf 7 durch einen aus dem äussern Kopf ende gedrückten Vorsprung 8 am Drehen verhindert ist.
In das untere, etwas einwärts gebogene Ende des einen Zirkelschenkels, 1, ist ein Nadelfuss 9 gesteckt, welcher durch eine Schraube 10 festgeklemmt wird, deren Kopf 11 durch einen aus dem Schenkel heraus- gedrückten Vorsprung 12 am Drehen ge hindert ist. An jedem Schenkel des andern Zirkelschenkels 2 ist eine federnde, halll- zylindrische Backe 13 festgenietet, welche Backen zusammen einten Bleistifthalter bil den.
Fig. 4 zeigt den Querschnitt von V-för- migen Schenkeln 1', 2' mit abgerundeter Scheitelkante 4', 4.
Statt 'einem Bleistift kann natürlich auch eine für diesen Halter ausgebildete Reissfeder eingesteckt werden. .Ferner können die beiden Schenkel mit Kniegelenken, ähnlich den bekannten Knie gelenken an andern Zirkeln, versehen wer den.
Der im Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellte Zirkel ist speziell für Elementarschulen vor gesehen, daher sind die vorhin erwähnten Einrichtungen weggelassen.
Wie ersichtlich, sind die Herstellungs- kosten des beschriebenen Zirkels klein. Auch das Gewicht dieses Zirkels ist kleiner als jenes eines Zirkels mit massiven Schen keln. Die Festigkeit des Zirkels entspricht den gestellten Anforderungen vollständig.

Each of the two compass legs 1 and 2 iFig. 1 to 3) is punched from a piece of sheet metal and pressed into a U-shape. A needle butt 9 is inserted into the lower, slightly inwardly bent end of one compass leg, 1, which is clamped by a screw 10, the head 11 of which is prevented from rotating by a projection 12 pushed out of the leg. On each leg of the other compass leg 2, a resilient, Halll- cylindrical jaw 13 is riveted, which jaws together form a pencil holder.

Instead of a pencil, a drawing pen designed for this holder can of course also be inserted. .Furthermore, the two legs can be provided with knee joints, similar to the known knee joints on other circles.
The circle shown in the embodiment is seen specifically for elementary schools, so the aforementioned facilities are omitted.
As can be seen, the manufacturing costs of the circle described are low. The weight of this circle is also less than that of a circle with massive legs. The strength of the circle fully meets the requirements.
