Abstract

L'invention concerne un système d'imagerie d'empreinte digitale optique comprenant un plateau transparent optiquement et un film protecteur fixé de manière détachable sur le plateau avec un adhésif. Le film protecteur protège le plateau des rayures, des marques et d'autres détériorations de surface et est sensiblement inerte chimiquement vis-à-vis des substances à base de pétrole qui peuvent venir en contact lors de la réception d'un doigt appuyé pour prendre une image d'empreinte digitale. L'adhésif a une résistance de cohésion sélectionnée qui permet au film protecteur et à l'adhésif d'être retirés du plateau sans laisser derrière eux un résidu adhésif. Le film protecteur peut être remplacé périodiquement dans le cadre d'une maintenance du plateau pour permettre une acquisition continue d'images d'empreintes digitales précises. L'invention concerne également un procédé de protection d'un plateau.
