Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un acier inoxydable martensitique à usinabilité améliorée, caractérisé en ce que sa composition pondérale est la suivante :
- carbone inférieur à 1,2%
- silicium inférieur ou égal à 2%
- manganèse inférieur ou égal à 2%
- chrome : 10,5<Cr<19%
- soufre inférieur ou égal à 0,55%
- calcium supérieur à 32.10-4%
- Oxygène supérieur à 70.10-4%, - le rapport de la teneur en calcium et en oxygène Ca/O étant 0,2<Ca/O<0,6,ledit acier étant soumis à au moins un traitement thermique de trempe pour lui conférer une structure martensitique.
