Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a generally symmetrical front fender with a fairing for a motorcycle; the front fender with the fairing has a fender section which merges through a smooth curved transition area into an upper fairing section; the fender section has a front portion and a rear portion; the front portion curves forwards and downwards to a curved end and has side walls which extend downwards along the length of the front portion; the front portion also has a central curved channel which tapers forwardly and which extends part-way along the length of the front portion, terminating in a flattened laterally extending area which is situated adjacent the transition area between the fender section and the fairing section; the rear portion of the fender section curves downwards and rearwards to a wedge-like end area; the rear portion has generally triangular outside areas situated on either side of the fairing section and a narrowing area having concave side edges situated between the generally triangular outside areas and the wedge-like end area; the generally triangular areas have laterally extending front surfaces which merge through smooth curves into the rear of front portion of the fender section; the fairing section has a large, generally rectangular opening situated at the lower end thereof adjacent the transition area and has side walls situated on either side of the opening which extend rearwards to the laterally extending front surfaces of the generally triangular areas of the fender section; the fairing section has an upper area which extends upwards and rearwards, the upper area having side walls which extend downwardly therefrom and merge into the side walls situated on either side of the generally rectangular opening.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a front elevation view of the design for a front fender with a fairing for a motorcycle;Fig. 2 is a rear view thereof;Fig. 3 is a top view thereof;Fig. 4 is a bottom view thereof;Fig. 5 is a right side view thereof;Fig. 6 is a left side view thereof;Fig. 7 is a perspective view from the right front of the design for a front fender with a fairing for a motorcycle; andFig. 8 is a perspective view from the left rear of the design for a front fender with a fairing for a motorcycle.Diagrams of the design are included.
