Abstract

MÉTODO PARA CONECTAR UMA PARTE TUBULAR FEITA DE PLÁSTICO A UM ESTRANGULAMENTO DE UM TANQUE DE COMBUSTÍVEL TAMBÉM FEITO DE PLÁSTICO. Método para conectar uma parte tubular (2) feita de plástico a um estrangulamento (1) de um tanque de combustível também feito de plástico, através de soldagem usando um elemento resistivo (3) capaz de ser aquecido por um efeito resistivo, em que: a forma e as dimensões das duas partes a serem conectadas são escolhidas de tal modo que uma superficie de cada uma delas esteja contra uma superficie correspondente da outra parte; o elemento resistivo (3) está incorporado em uma das duas superficies; as duas superficies são trazidas em contato; uma corrente elétrica é passada pelo elemento resistivo a uma intensidade tal que o perrmta ser aquecido a uma temperatura alta bastante para fundir o plástico de qual as duas superficies são feitas e soldá-las juntas, a parte tubular e o estrangulamento cada um incluindo uma camada de barreira (4) e sendo soldadas de tal modo que as duas superficies de contato sejam coaxiais e que as camadas de barreira nesta região sejam paralelas.
