Abstract
CONFORMAçãO INDIVIDUAL DE CANAL PARA ESQUEMAS BCC E SIMILARES. Em um codificador de áudio, são gerados códigos de sinalização para um ou mais canais de áudio, caracterizados pelo fato de que um código de sinalização de envelope é gerado pela caracterização de um envelope temporal em um canal de áudio. Em um decodificador de áudio, E canal(is) de áudio transmitido(s) são decodificados para gerar C canais de áudio playback, onde C>E<sym>1. Os códigos de sinalização recebidos incluem um código de sinalização de envelope que corresponde a um envelope temporal caracterizado de um canal de áudio que corresponde ao(s) canal(is) transmitido(s). Um ou mais canal(is) transmitido(s) são upmixados para gerar um ou mais canais upmixados. Um ou mais canais de playback são sintetizados pela aplicação dos códigos de sinalização ao um ou mais canais upmixados, em que o código de sinalização de envelope é aplicado a um canal upmixado ou a um sinal sintetizado para ajustar um envelope temporal do sinal sintetizado baseado no envelope temporal caracterizado de maneira que o envelope temporal ajustado combine substancialmente com o envelope temporal caracterizado.
