Abstract
I en audiokoder blir tonekoder generert for en eller flere audiokanaler hvor en envelop tonekode blir generert ved å karakterisere en midlertidig envelop i en audiokanal. I en audiodekoder blir E-overførte audiokanaler dekodet for å generere C-avspillingsaudiokanaler, hvor C>E31. Mottatte tonekoder omfatter en envelop tonekode tilsvarende en karakterisert, midlertidig envelop av en audiokanal tilsvarende de overførte kanaler.
