Abstract

"MéTODO IMPLEMENTADO POR COMPUTADOR, E, SISTEMA". Tração de folha contínua em material de folha contínua passando através de um sistema de transporte de folha contínua, é determinada em tempo real usando sensores de posição a rolos controlados que definem um começo e um fim da zona de tração. Os sensores de posição nos rolos provêm informação relacionada à quantidade de material de folha contínua deformada que tenha sido adicionada e subtraída do material de folha contínua presente na zona de tração. A quantidade de material de folha contínua adicionado subtraído e presente na zona de tração em um período de tempo de amostragem é então convertida para uma quantidade não deformada de material de folha contínua que, quando combinada, provê uma estimativa da quantidade presente de material de folha contínua não deformada presente na zona de tração. Como o comprimento da zona de tração é fixo e conhecido, a tração no material de folha contínua é determinada a partir da quantidade presente de material de folha contínua não deformada na zona de tração.
