Abstract
"RECEPTOR, E, PROCESSO DE RECEBER NO MINIMO UM SINAL QUE CORRESPONDE A UMA PLURALIDADE DE SINAIS TRANSMITIDOS". Uma pluralidade de temporizações são estimadas para um sinal recebido, no qual a pluralidade de temporizações corresponde a uma pluralidade de sinais transmitidos. O sinal recebido é então amostrado de acordo com a pluralidade de temporizações para produzir uma pluralidade de correntes de amostra a partir do sinal recebido. Estimativas de canal são produzidas para a pluralidade de sinais transmitidos e métricas são computadas utilizando as correntes de amostra e as estimativas de canal. A simbologia de informação que corresponde aos sinais transmitidos é detectada por meio da utilização das métricas. Consequentemente, utilizando temporizações múltiplas para um sinal recebido ao invés de utilizar uma temporização comum, a quantidade de derivações de canal que são utilizadas podem ser reduzidas e a precisão da detecção de símbolo pode ser aumentada. As estimativas de canal podem ser produzidas gerando informação em forma de pulso e produzindo estimativas de canal para os múltiplos sinais transmitidos utilizando o sinal recebido e a informação em forma de pulso.
