Abstract
Patente de Invenção para <B>"GUIA DE ONDA VERIFICADA POR BAIXA DISPERSãO DE INCLINAçãO"<D>. é revelada uma fibra de guia de onda ótica de modo simples tendo segmentos alternantes de dispersão positiva e negativa, e inclinação de dispersão. Os índices relativos, os perfis de indice de refração, e o raio dos segmentos são escolhidos para proporcionarem dispersão total baixa e inclinação de dispersão. Uma concretização consiste de um primeiro perfil de índice maior central (10) de raio externo r~ 1~, circundado por um primeiro segmento anular (12) de raio externo r~ 2~, circundado pelo segundo segmento anular (14) de raio externo r~ 3~. Guias de onda preferidas de acordo com a invenção exibem uma dispersão sobre a faixa de 1520 a 1625 nm, cujo todos os tempos apresentam uma grandeza que é menor do que 2, e, mais preferivelmente, menor do que 1 ps/nm^ 2^-km.
