Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO DE TRATAMENTO DE áGUA DE REJEITO COMPREENDENDO AMÈNIA"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de tratamento de água de rejeito compreendendo amónia, em que o íon de bicarbonato é o contra-íon do íon de amónio presente na água de rejeito. De acordo com a invenção metade do amónio é convertida em nitrito, fornecendo uma solução contendo amónia e nitrito, e na segunda etapa o nitrito é usado como oxidante para a amónia. No processo de acordo com a invenção a conversão de metade da amónia em nitrito ocorre automaticamente, fornecendo um processo que requer menores controles. Além disto, o processo de acordo com a invenção não requer aditivo externo.
