Abstract

"MéTODO DE PROTEçãO DE SEMENTES TRATADAS COM UM AGENTE FITOTóXICO". A presente invenção refere-se a um método de melhora de taxa de germinação em sementes de planta tratadas por pesticida que envolve formação de um revestimento de polímero livre de pesticida em uma semente de planta antes de tratamento da semente com um pesticida, onde o tipo de polímero e a espessura de revestimento são projetados para bloquear o contato fitotóxico do pesticida com a semente enquanto permitindo transferência suficiente de oxigênio para manter a viabilidade da semente e transferência suficiente de umidade sob condições ambientais normalmente encontradas pela semente após o plantio para permitir sua germinação; e então tratamento da semente de planta revestida então com um pesticida. Sementes que foram tratadas por este método, e plantas que são desenvolvidas a partir das sementes tratadas também são descritas.
