Abstract
"BRIQUETAGEM E PELETIZAçãO A FRIO DE PóS DE MINéRIO UTILIZANDO UM AGLUTINANTE HIDRáULICO FERRìFERO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para briquetagem e peletização a frio de minérios ferrosos ou não ferroso, ou pós de minério utilizando aglutinantes minerais hidráulicos ferríferos para aplicações metalúrgicas, dito processo compreendendo as etapas de: misturar 84-95% em peso de um óleo/carbonáceo/mineral/metal contaminado de materiais na forma de cinza/pós/sedimento com 4-10% em peso de um aglutinante mineral hidráulico ferrífero, e opcionalmente com 2-6% em peso de água e 0,05 a 0,02% em peso de um agente ativo de superfície para forma uma pasta fluida/mistura seca homogeneizada; peletizar/compactar a pasta fluida/mistura para formar uma massa aglomerada; e, curar a massa aglomerada por 3-20 dias pela exposição da massa aglomerada a ar atmosférico por 10-14 horas, seguido por tratamento de umectação. O aglutinante ferrífero é um material pulverulento ultrafino (semelhante ao cimento), possuindo como constituintes químicos 20 a 25% em peso de Fe~ 2~O~ 3~, 40 a 60% em peso de CaO + MgO, e 12 a 18% em peso de SiO~ 2~ + AI~ 2~O~ 3~.
