Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO PARA A PREVENçãO DE OSTEOPOROSE COMPREENDENDO UMA COMBINAçãO DE ISOFLAVONAS E áCIDOS GRAXOS POLIINSATURADOS". Uma composição útil na prevenção de osteoporose, em que a referida composição compreende (a) pelo menos uma isoflavona e/ou glicosídeo de isoflavona, de preferência genisteína e/ou genistina; (b) pelo menos um ácido graxo poliinsaturado; (c) opcionalmente vitamina D, e/ou um ou mais derivados da mesma e/ou vitamina K e/ou um ou mais derivados da mesma; e (d) adjuvantes ou excipientes em quantidades conforme requerido, de preferência dentro da faixa de 0,1 a 20% em peso, baseado sobre o peso total da composição. Composições dietéticas e formulações galênicas feitas a partir das mesmas e o uso das referidas composições para a prevenção do osteoporose e estimulação de osteogênese em mamíferos.
