EMI1.1
du rouleau à brosse de balayage.
Puis, on doit remonter le recouvrement. c
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

A cet effet, on a prévu
EMI7.2

Device for the maintenance of green spaces or for gardening
The invention relates to an apparatus for the maintenance of green spaces or for gardening, comprising a housing movable by wheels on a surface to be worked or treated by an operator by means of a guide bar, and comprising fixing members which serve to fix a treatment tool in the housing, and a motor which is fixed on the housing with drive members for transmitting the rotational movement of the motor to the treatment tool.
Such an apparatus is decnt in the document DE 39 30 123 A1. It is possible to arrange in the housing different working tools, for example a shaft having knives arranged firmly on it or in rotation with it for scanning, or else a sweep roller.
For this purpose, retaining elements are provided which can be connected to the side walls of the housing. The cutting shaft carries a pulley protruding laterally out of the housing, on which a belt can be placed which is guided via a pulley on the driven shaft of the motor. The belt drive located outside the housing is provided with a cover.
If the device is to be used as a scanning device, a scanning brush roller must be associated with the housing, which is provided with corresponding mounting brackets for attachment to the housing. Since the sweeping brush roller has to rotate in a direction of rotation opposite to the scarification shaft, a reversible transmission has been arranged on the sweeping brush roller mounting shaft.
The association with the housing is carried out in such a way that, first of all, for example if the device has been used previously as a scarification device, the scarification shaft after removing the belt drive the pulley of the scarification shaft by detaching the mounting brackets, and then attaching a sweeping brush roller by its mounting shaft by fixing the retaining elements on the housing, and then installing the belt on the two pulleys, namely on the pulley of the drive motor and on the pulley
EMI1.1
sweeping brush roller.
Then, we must reassemble the cover. vs
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
A disadvantage of this solution is that the user must carry out an intervention in the drive, i.e. the user must ensure that the belt drive is mounted correctly and that the cover is also duly reassembled. Thus, one is quickly confronted with the fact that the drive belt is not correctly mounted or that one forgets to mount the cover. This leads to a risk for the user or other people.
The objective underlying the invention is to produce a combined device of the claimed type. which ensures safe handling and which allows a simple change of the working tools, and in which it is further ensured that the working tool respectively to be mounted is driven in the direction of rotation and at the speed of rotation assigned thereto associated.
According to the invention, this objective is achieved by the fact that the drive members comprise at least two driving elements
EMI2.1
firmly attached to the housing. at least one of which can be driven in a direction of rotation which is opposite to that of the other driving element, said driving elements being permanently connected to the driven shaft of the motor, that the driving elements have coupling members which differ from each other and which are intended for coupling to corresponding coupling members of the mounting shaft of a tool among several working tools,
and that retaining elements and mounting members which serve jointly for fixing the respective other end of the mounting shaft to the housing are detachably arranged on the side of the housing which is opposite leading elements.
The advantage of this embodiment is that the work tool chosen respectively can only be associated with one of the leading elements, thanks to the
EMI2.2
different coupling members. In addition, the drive elements and their c transmission link to the driven shaft of the motor remain constantly on the housing of the device. The user does not need to
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
intervention during the arrangement of the various work tools. Thanks to this, accme handling safety is achieved. There cannot be a situation in which parts of the drive remain open during operation, for example because you forgot to mount the cover.
In a development of the invention, it is provided that the coupling members of the driving elements are represented by connecting holes of different cross sections, and that the coupling members of the ends of the mounting shafts are represented respectively by a corresponding cross section of the ends of the mounting shafts. In this case, the coupling elements of the driving elements simultaneously ensure the mounting of one end of the mounting shaft of the working tools.
This results in a particularly advantageous embodiment when one of the driving elements can be driven by the driven shaft of the motor and the other driving elements can be driven by the first driving element.
Thanks to this, a simple structure is also achieved, since only the first driving element is directly connected to the driven shaft of the motor, in terms of the drive. The training of the other driving elements is derived from the first driving element. However, all the driving elements are permanently connected to the driven shaft of the motor.
To drive the first driving element, provision is made to connect the latter to the driven shaft of the motor by a belt or chain drive. In terms of training, the other driving elements are linked to the first driving element. To this end, to complete the invention, provision has been made for the direct drive element to carry a toothed wheel or a toothed sector produced in the form of a toothed wheel. The other driving elements are also produced in the form of toothed wheels.
In addition, the first direct drive element is provided with a sector which is produced in the form of a pulley.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
In addition, provision has been made for the coupling members of the driving elements to be arranged such that only one can be connected to a mounting shaft of a working tool. Thanks to this, it is ensured that only one working tool can be used respectively.
In order to achieve, for example for a combined apparatus which can be used as a scarifying apparatus or else as a sweeping apparatus, that the material removed from the ground by the apparatus used is collected, the housing is provided on the side rear and also on the front side, elements for arranging a collection device as well as a valve by which the case can be opened in the direction of the attached collection device.
For use as a sweeping device, the front flap is opened and a collecting device is arranged in this region, because the sweeping brush roller rotates in a direction of rotation which is opposite to the direction of rotation of the wheels on which the housing is movable, therefore in the direction of work, while when used as a scarifying device, the direction of the wheels on which the housing is mobile during operation corresponds to that of the shaft scarification.

Figs. 1 to 3 show the apparatus according to the invention which can be used both as a scarification apparatus and as a sweeping apparatus. The device comprises a housing 1 which is movable on wheels 2. For this purpose, use is made of the guide bar 3 which is intended to be grasped and engaged by a user. The direction of working movement corresponds to the direction of the arrow B. The housing 1 has the two side walls 4, 5 and the cover 6. The wheels 2 are arranged on the two side walls 4,5, so that the lower edge of the housing 1 can be approached or distant from the surface on which the housing 1 is moved.
A motor 9 has been fixed on the outside 6 of the cover 6. The latter has the driven shaft 11 which is associated with a pulley 10.
EMI5.2
The motor 9 is used to drive Either a scarification shaft 7 or a scanning roller 8 The scanning shaft 7 is illustrated with its contours in solid lines in FIG. 2, while the scanning roller 8 is illustrated in dashes and with association with the device. However, it is only possible to arrange either the scarification shaft 7 or the sweep roller 8. Drive members serve to drive the
EMI5.3
scarification 7 or the sweep roller 8. In the embodiment illustrated in s cari 1 c fig. 3, these drive members comprise a transmission box 15 which is fixed to the side wall 4.
A first drive member has been mounted in the housing 15, by means of rolling bearings 21, which has a toothed sector 14 and a pulley 13. The pulley 13 is driven by the belt 12 which is guided on the pulley 10 of the driven shaft 11 of the motor 9. The toothed sector 14 meshes with the toothed wheel 16 as a second driving element which is also mounted in rotation in the housing 15 by a rolling bearing 22.
The first driving element comprising the toothed sector 14 has a plug hole 17 as a coupling member, which has a cross section which differs from a circular section, that is to say
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
EMI6.1
that it has for example two grooves which extend parallel to the axis of rotation 18 of the driving element which has the toothed sector 14.
This plug hole 17 serves to receive the end of the mounting shaft 23 forming part of the scarification shaft 7, which is provided with corresponding coupling members 30. We see in particular in FIG. 3 that the cross section of the insertion hole 17 is greater than that of the insertion hole 20 in the toothed wheel 16 which forms the second driving element and which is designed to drive the mounting shaft 24 of the scanning roller.
The insertion hole 20 is also provided with grooves which extend parallel to the axis of rotation 19 and into which the corresponding corners of the mounting shaft 24 engage as a coupling member 31 of the roller. of
EMI6.2
scan 8, in case it is mounted. In addition, we see at the tig. 3 that the rotation circle of the scarification shaft 7 with the diameter DV lies in the region of the rotation circle of the scanning roller 8 with the diameter DK.
This means that the distance A of the two plug holes 17, 20 is dimensioned so small that due to the overlap. only one of the working tools can be mounted, namely either the scarification shaft 7 or the sweep roller 8. In addition, only a specific association is possible via the gap between the sections transverse plug holes 17, 20 from one another. that is to say that the cross section of the insertion hole 20 is dimensioned smaller or differently from that of the insertion hole 17.
The mounting shaft 23 of the scarification shaft 7 only fits in the insertion hole 17, while the mounting shaft 24 of the sweep roller 8 only fits in the insertion hole 20. The driving element that presents the toothed sector
14 which is used to drive the scarification shaft 7 is driven in the same direction of rotation Nique the driven shaft 11 of the motor 9. Namely, this element is driven directly via the belt 12 and the pulley 13. Thus, the scarification shaft 7 rotates in the direction of working movement B.
The toothed wheel 16 for driving the sweep roller 8, which meshes with the toothed wheel sector 14 rotates in correspondence in a direction of rotation N2 opposite to the direction
<Desc / Clms Page number 7>
of rotation N 1 and thus in the opposite direction to the direction of working movement B. In FIG. 1, the illustration of the driving elements deviates from the preferred solution according to FIG. 3 by the fact that the drive belt
EMI7.1
12 of the fie. 1 and the pulley 13 are arranged near the side wall 4, while in FIG. 3, the toothed sector 14 and the toothed wheel 16 directly adjoin the side wall 4. To receive the material removed from the surface to be treated, a collection bag 25 is used which can be associated with the housing 1 in two different positions of association.
When used as a scarification device, the collection bag 25 must be arranged on the rear side of the housing 1. For this purpose, provision has been made
EMI7.2
on the rear side of the housing 1 an opening 28 which is closed by a valve 26 if the collection bag 25 is not hooked. For use as a scanning device, the collection bag 25 must be associated with the front side of the housing 1, as shown in dashes in FIG. 1. For this purpose, this side is also provided with a tilting valve 27 which covers an opening 29.
The collection bag 25 is arranged on the front side of the housing 1 after having lifted the valve 27. When the apparatus is used as a scarification apparatus, the valve 27 is in the position in abutment against the housing 1, that is to say that the opening 29 is closed, while the opening 28 is open, keeping the valve 26 in an upwardly tilted position, after having arranged the collection bag 25 on the side back. On the side wall 5 opposite the driving elements 14, 16, it is possible to fix either the mounting shaft 23 of
EMI7.3
the scarification shaft 7, namely the mounting shaft 24 of the sweeping roller 8, at its end by means of a retaining element 32a, 32b, as shown in figs. 4a and 4b.
The retainer 32a is

associated with the mounting shaft 24 of the sweeping roller 8 with associated Z> c interposition of a rolling bearing, and it can be fixed by means of a VIS 33 on the outer face of the side wall 5. At this Indeed, the side wall 5 has a slot 35 traversed by the mounting shaft 24, and it also has a tapped hole 34 for the screw 33.
