Cell wheel for discharging the conveyed material with suction air conveyors for bulk material.
The invention relates to a cellular wheel for discharging the conveyed material in suction air conveyors for bulk material. According to the invention, before the discharge opening of the cellular wheel, the suction air pipe opens into the cellular wheel and is closed off from it by a filter. Through the movement of the cellular wheel, the material retained on the filter is continuously removed and scraped off into the cells that go outside. A special cleaning of the filter is not necessary. Collecting containers that are otherwise used to separate the conveyed material and to install filters can also be omitted.
In Fig. I, an embodiment of the invention is shown using a rotating cell wheel about a horizontal axis.
The air laden with the conveyed material flows through the conveying line 1 and is sucked out through the suction line 2. As the arrows indicate, the conveyed air mixture flows towards the open cells of the cellular wheel 3. The cellular wheel rotates clockwise and conveys the material retained by the filter and scraped off by it to the outlet nozzle 5. Between the filter 4 and the scraping edges 6 of the cellular wheel, a gap 7 is left which, during operation, becomes a layer of the conveyed material fills out. This layer supports the filter effect and prevents the scraper edges from touching the filter itself, so that it is protected.
The arrangement can also be easily implemented for a cell wheel rotating about a vertical axis, as can be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3, of which FIG. 3 reproduces the plan of FIG. The direction of rotation of the cellular wheel is indicated in FIG. 3 by the arrow. Here, too, the incoming flow of conveyed material enters the open cells of the cellular wheel 3. In the example shown, there are three cells (FIG. 3). The suction air only passes through the filter 4 after it has left the cell. Between this and the wiping edges 6 of the cellular wheel, the distance 7 is again provided.
The use of a cell wheel rotating about a vertical axis has the advantage that, in the event of wear, the sealing surface can be readjusted in a very simple manner by re-tensioning the cover 8.
PATENT CLAIMS: t. Cell wheel for discharging the conveyed material in suction air conveyors for bulk goods, characterized in that the suction air pipe (2) opens into the cell wheel in front of the discharge opening z of the cell wheel (3) and is closed off from this by a filter (4) which is closed by the edges of the cell wheel is constantly being wiped off.
