20The present invention relates to an insulating element or a heat-insulating arrangement according to the preambles of claims 1 and 8. Dämmelemente to prevent heat loss are known and are used in various 5 most embodiments and of various materials in the construction of buildings. In particular, to insulating elements for those areas of a building in which strong heat losses may occur, such. Windows or doors have special requirements. Especially in the connection area between windows and masonry or between doors and Mauenwerk known significant thermal bridges or Wärmever-io losses on. Accordingly, indoor air cools particularly strongly in the area of windows or doors, which, in addition to additional heating effort, can lead to condensation and moisture formation in the sensitive transition areas and makes costly and expensive repairs or mold removal necessary. Among other things, the heat losses are composed of the following factors: geometric thermal bridges due to the arrangement of windows and masonry, of material-related thermal bridges of the window or door frame due to the high i. poor thermal conductivity and / or from ventilation heat losses due to occurring leaks in the connection window window to masonry. 20
Türlaibung eingeengt bzw. verkleinert, was u.a. zur verringertem Lichteinfall führt. For example, rectangular insulation elements are known, which are attached to the inside of windows or doors on the room side and can be seamlessly connected to the inner wall. However, such insulating elements are either too thin to effectively prevent heat exchange or they are thicker and therefore optically unacceptable. In addition, the space of the window or Türlaibung is narrowed or reduced by such insulation elements, which u.a. leads to reduced incidence of light. To counteract this problem, an inventive insulation element according to the characterizing part of claim 1 is proposed to solve this problem.
35An arrangement for effective and visually advantageous thermal insulation is presented in the characterizing part of claim 8. 35
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the claims 2 and 3 describe how, at the same time appealing optics, much light, with simultaneous thermal insulation, can enter the building interior. 40 The materials used for the insulation element combine effective thermal insulation with simultaneous mechanical strength and weather resistance. The insulating element is thus easy to work with and has high mechanical stability.
The features described in claim 4, 9, 10 and 13 ensure a quick and 45 accurate mounting of the insulating elements and good thermal insulation.
50The advantageous embodiment of the surfaces of the Dämmelements for permanent, durable attachment of Dämmelements the building and at the same time for sealing are shown in the claims 5, 6, 7,11 and 12. 50
In particular, the features described in claims 14 and 15 ensure an additional positive optical effect combined with increased weather resistance and thermal insulation. The features of claim 16, the advantage of the improved light incidence and 5 5 3 AT 008 178 U1 results of the optically original design.
Further advantages and embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the description and the accompanying drawings.
All features explained are not only in the particular combination specified, but also in other combinations or alone, without departing from the scope of the invention. The invention is diagrammatically illustrated by means of exemplary embodiments in the drawings and will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings.
Fig. 1 shows a horizontal cross section of an attached to a wall or a door jamb Dämmements. 15 Fig. 2 shows a window sill with these attached insulation elements.
Fig. 3a bis 3k zeigen unterschiedliche Ausbildungsformen von Querschnitten eines Dämmelements.3a to 3k show different embodiments of cross sections of an insulating element.
20Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 show preferred embodiments in the attachment of an insulating element to a wall. 20
25According to FIG. 1, the insulating element 1 is inserted into the corner area formed by a wall 3 and a door or window floor 2 and fastened there. The insulating element 1 can be mounted either on the outer wall of a building or on the inside of the building, but the attachment to the building exterior wall is preferred. 25
The insulating element 1 is characterized in the assembled position essentially by a surface 8 facing the door or window frame 2, furthermore by a further surface 9 facing the wall 3 and by an outer surface 7. The two surfaces 8 and 9 form an angle a, wherein this angle a is in a range between 80 ° to 110 °, preferably 85 ° 30 to 100 °. In particular, since this is true for most buildings, an angle a of 90 ° is advantageous. With this angle a, the insulating element 1, preferably fitted with fit, in the corner region of the door or window stock 2 in the reveal or wall recess 3 fitted or inserted. It is optically and favorable for the incidence of light when the cross-sectional thickness or depth of the insulating element 1 at the floor 2 has its maximum extent to 35 and decreases starting from the floor 2.
The outer surface 7, that is, the surface opposite the angle a or the surface that connects the two surfaces 8 and 9 may be either straight, kinked or curved or off and / or indented, with this curvature over the whole Outer surface 7, 40 and can extend only over partial areas. Correspondingly, the basic cross-sectional shapes of the insulating element 1 shown in FIGS. 3a to 3k are conceivable and possible by way of example and without further details, such as recesses or grooves described below.
5The basic cross-sectional shape is understood to be the obvious, most obvious geometric shape of the cross-section at first glance. In this case, any depressions or protrusions that are formed in the individual areas, not to be considered, i. For example, from a triangular base cross section through the formation of a single rectangular recess is not a 7-cornered basic cross-sectional shape. Accordingly, in a straight configuration of the outer surface 7, depending on the size of the angle a, the basic cross-sectional shape of a general or right-angled triangle. In a kinked design of the outer surface 7 results in a general quadrilateral with optionally a right angle a. If this kink is formed with a certain angle, the basic cross-sectional shape of a trapezoid possibly results with two right angles 55. Also, the shape of a parallelogram is possible. Furthermore, both convex curvatures of the outer surface 7 and convex curvatures are conceivable, resulting in basic cross-sectional shapes of an optionally right-angled circular segment or elliptical segment, as well as outer surfaces 7 that are only partially curved or swung outwards and inwards Insulating element thereby receives the shape of a decorative profile. 5
This deviation of the cross section of the Dämmelements 1 of the known rectangular shape increases the angle of incidence of light and thus favors the incidence of light.
The insulating element 1 itself consists of heat-insulating material, preferably made of synthetic materials, in particular made of foamed plastics. In particular, foams or integral foams of polystyrene, in particular of expandable polystyrene (EPS), formaldehyde resins, polyurethane, polyisocyanurates and the like. Use. The heat conduction coefficient is λ < 0.6 W / mK, preferably at λ < 0.035 W / mK. 15 The material used not only has a high thermal insulation capacity, but also good weather resistance, high mechanical strength and favorable fire behavior.
The insulating elements 1 are formed on at least one end with a miter 11 or already cut in the production, wherein the miter angle is 45 ° with respect to the longitudinal extension 20. As a result, as shown in FIG. 2, at least four insulating elements 1 can be easily fitted into an existing door or window frame and optionally glued together only by cutting to length on site. This ensures a, apart from these miters 11, butt joint-free arrangement of the insulating elements. 25 By choosing the materials used here also a processing with a knife or a hand saw is easily possible, for. to cut the insulation elements 1 to the desired length or to execute new miter cuts.
40For easy attachment of the insulating element 1 to the wall 3 or on a door or window 30 2 recesses or grooves 6 are formed in the wall 3 facing surface 9 and the floor 2 facing surface 8 of the insulating element. Also elevations, projections or extensions 15 may be provided on these two surfaces. These recesses 6 or elevations 15 preferably extend over the entire length of the insulating element 1 and serve for better application of adhesive and / or 35 sealing means 4,5. In this case, excess adhesive or sealing material can escape from the lying between the recesses 6 surface areas in the recesses 6 and thus better adhesion of the insulating element 1 is ensured on the wall 3 and on the floor 2. As adhesive or sealant 4.5 are mainly adhesives, such as construction adhesive 4, grout and / or joint sealing tape 5 and mortar or plaster provided. 40
In Fig. 5, a preferred embodiment of an insulating element 1 is shown, in which the corner area formed by the two surfaces 8 and 9 14, preferably cut off over the entire length of the insulating element 1, is chamfered or rounded. The resulting cavity can be filled with sealing, insulating and / or filling material, which in turn leads to 45 better seal this particularly sensitive connection area between the wall 3 and 2 floor.
At least the outer surface 7 of the insulating element 1 may be coated with a weather-resistant coating and / or a mechanical protective layer 10. This coating 10, preferably consisting of special mortar or primer paint, may be of various colors and surface finishes, e.g. Grain, porosity, roughness od. Like. Be formed. After completion of the attachment work, the insulation elements can also be subsequently painted with any color. An application of this coating 10 can already be done in the production of Dämmelements 1 55 or even after assembly.
