In recent decades, plants containing medicinal and fragrance substances have become increasingly important in therapy.
There is much to suggest that it is beneficial to use medicinal plants in therapy. It is crucial that hundreds of the currently known and used medicinal plants have been used for centuries, so it has been thoroughly proven that, in addition to their medicinal properties, they are harmless to the human organism and also have no side effects.
Ceres Verlag, Bukarest, 1972).In recent times, so-called aromatherapy has come to the fore, where especially the aroma and essential oil components of the different medicinal plants are used (G. Racz, A. Laza, E. Coicu: medicinal plants and plants with essential oil components. Ceres Verlag, Bucharest, 1972).
Even today, the trade has a wide selection of medicinal products that are made from different medicinal plants. Of course, the scientific literature also recommends many mixtures for curing a wide variety of diseases.
- gegebenenfalls recht komplizierter Struktur - sei. (H. Wagner: Drogen und ihre Inhaltstoffe, Pharmazeutische Biologie. 1979. G. Fischer Verlag, Stuttgart-New York; F. Deutschmann und Mitarbeiter: Droganaiyse I: Morphologie und Anatomie. Pharmazeutische Biologie. 1979. G. Fischer Verlag, Stuttgart-New York).Even today, it is still the subject of open controversy as to which of the medicinal plant mixtures has the most beneficial effect for the healing of individual diseases or for the protection of health. The current state of science does not allow this question to be finally decided. There are plants in which the molecule responsible for the effect can be identified (e.g. digitalis, claviceps, papaver, catharantus, vinca), but in the majority of plants the molecule to which the activity could be assigned was able to identify itself After isolation and structural elucidation of the individual ingredients, it cannot be clearly defined, which makes the hypothesis that the activity is the result of a joint, possibly synergistic effect of several organic molecules (alkaloids, glycosides, terpenes, flavonoids, anthraquinone derivatives, etc.) - if applicable quite complicated structure - be. (H. Wagner: Drugs and their Ingredients, Pharmaceutical Biology. 1979. G. Fischer Verlag, Stuttgart-New York; F. Deutschmann and co-workers: Droganaiyse I: Morphology and Anatomy. Pharmaceutical Biology. 1979. G. Fischer Verlag, Stuttgart- New York).
The current state of science does not allow to determine which synergistic effects or effects can arise in a system made from several medicinal plants, which theoretically contains a large number of pharmacologically active molecules, and how this depends on the ratio of the individual components.
In any case, one thing is certain: the different compositions used for the same indication have a common main effect, but as far as the level of the effect itself or the other, usually favorable side effects are concerned, the preparations differ from one another: in general, each mixture has a certain positive quality compared to the others.
However, it seems to be clear that the most beneficial effect can be achieved with a medicinal substance obtained from medicinal plants if the formulated finished product or application form contains the highest concentration of the original active substances of the medicinal product.

'"ή ·. ·! •L;! ΐ". #: ;ΐ, - -i'i.'ti '«4; :(γϊ| BlKii Μϊί ί:; '·ί tili 3The above mixtures consist of a variety of different medicinal plants. However, each mixture has something in common, namely the cross dome bark (Frangulae cortex). The above examples clearly demonstrate that there are many medicinal plant-based weight-loss agents available. Most likely, each has an additional positive 5 trait compared to the others (while these others have another positive activity). It must be emphasized that after each literary source the drug mixture is boiled for a certain time (generally for at least 20 minutes). Each of the above-mentioned mixtures contains creeper thorn bark as the main component. io Herbal ingredients, essential oils and aromas have a common property, they are sensitive to heat, light and oxygen and are hydrolyzed in aqueous solution. It has been known for centuries that plants can be used to obtain aqueous solutions with medicinal properties by boiling or scalding. Only with some highly sensitive plants, such as. For example, rosehip, more tiring heat treatments are performed, but in the field of lean-throat tea blends - as mentioned above - extraction is associated with boiling. The poorly soluble components are also dissolved in this way, and the solution is also sterilized at the same time. In the past, the high loss of active ingredient was not important, since the starting materials were cheaply available. Currently, the herbal remedies available on the market are already being produced on an industrial scale. During the production process, the traditional methods are simply applied on a larger scale until the desired production capacity is reached. Because of the increase in volume, however, the large mass of the starting material is under unfavorable, attacking conditions for a relatively long time. In this way, it was investigated in which ratio the useful active substances detectable in the starting material can be found in the end product. 25 With a generally used extraction process (15-20 minutes at 100 * C, dry matter yield about 25-27% by weight) there are about 50% by weight of the alkaloids, 55% by weight of the glycosides, 60% by weight of the flavonides, 65% in the aqueous solution % of the anthraquinones and 50 G% of the terpenes were detectable, while only 10-15 G% of the aroma components remained. In the case of commercial preparations, the concentration of the solution obtained is essential, which is normally carried out in a vacuum (concentration at normal pressure is extremely unfavorable). According to our measurements, the amount of the above-mentioned ingredients is reduced by another 10-30 G%, while the aroma ingredients are completely lost. The invention relates to a process for the production of medicinal plant extracts, the ingredients of which, in addition to a slimming effect, also have other favorable physiological properties, which can be achieved from starting material which is easily accessible in large quantities, and which ensures significantly higher yields of active ingredients and aroma ingredients compared to known processes . In the composition of the medicinal plants according to the invention, a herbal mixture was specifically found, the components of which are relatively inexpensive to buy in large quantities, the concentrate produced therefrom not only has an excellent slimming effect, but also has a further beneficial physiological effect, as a result of which the human organism has increased stress and Malnutrition better tolerated. As a result, it must be emphasized that during the development work a composition was unexpectedly found that can exert the desired emaciation effect even without the cruciform cortex, which until now has been perceived as essential. 45 The invention also relates to a new process for the production of medicinal plant extracts. In extensive laboratory and operational tests, a process was developed that avoids the usual cooking for this type of plant and thus ensures better yields (around 100-300%) of active ingredients, aromas and essential oils compared to the known processes (see Examples 3 and 6 - reference examples). 50 The invention relates to a new method for the production of medicinal plant extracts with a slimming effect, which as a starting material a mixture of chamomile flowers (Chamomil! Ae anthodium), field horsetail (Equiseti herba), elder flowers (Sambuci flos), linden flowers (Tiliae flos), nettle (Urticae herba), optionally buckthorn bark (Franguale cortex) and, if desired, other medicinal plants. which do not adversely affect the thinning effect, and which uses flavors and / or fragrances 55, characterized in that the dried and chopped drug has a composition of 10-20% by weight of chamomile flower, 20-30% by weight of field shaft straw, 10- 25% by weight elderflower, 3-10% by weight linden blossom, 15-40% by weight nettle and optionally 15-25% by weight cross bark, soaked in water according to a method known per se, at 90-100 eC boiled, filtered and yy, ··:. ·; :: i'l -Bf B; äi -IfB. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the selected medicinal plants are dried, chopped, and if desired for reasons of sterility during the production process, the starting mixture of plants is advantageously sterilized by means of radiation.
According to embodiment a.) Of the invention, the new starting mixture of the plants by means of a known method, z. B. worked up according to the method of Hungarian Patent No. 189162. The concentrate obtained has a new, very advantageous spectrum of action, which can be attributed to the new drug composition. Of course, this method ensures poorer yields and a lower content of aroma substances and essential oils compared to method b.), But is nevertheless considerably more advantageous than the current state of the art.
According to the much more advantageous embodiment b.) Of the invention, the starting mixture of the plants is swollen in 2-5 parts by weight, suitably 3 parts by weight, water, for 1-4 hours, suitably 2-2.5 hours. During the swelling, the water should suitably be acidic (pH 1.0-4.0). For acidification z. B. citric acid can be used. If radiation sterilization is not provided, the mixture can, if desired, be boiled for a moment or pasteurized for disinfection.
The temperature used in the digestion is extremely important. Even at 40 * C, the yield is not much lower than that of traditional methods. The use of 60-65 · C ensures particularly high yields of active ingredients, aromas and essential oils. At temperatures that are higher than 70 ° C, however, many valuable components are degraded (these components are damaged to a much greater extent in the traditional processes).
After digestion, the pulp is separated from the solid residues by filtering or centrifuging, then the drug residue is pressed out and / or vigorously centrifuged, expediently at a speed of at least 10,000 revolutions per minute. The use of a press, preferably a screw press, or a press extractor is by far the cheapest solution in this step of the process. It is advisable to wash the press residue (or centrifuging residue) often, expediently twice, with slightly acidic water. The mixture is then cooled to 20-30 * C, then filtered.
Auch jetzt werden milde, schonende Umstände gesichert (Druck 6-8x103 Pa, zweckmässig 7x1ο3 Pa, Temperatur 30-40 eC, zweckmässig 35 · C).The filtrate is concentrated in vacuo to 10-20% of its original volume. Even now, mild, gentle circumstances are ensured (pressure 6-8x103 Pa, expedient 7x1ο3 Pa, temperature 30-40 eC, expedient 35 · C).
According to an advantageous embodiment of the method according to the invention, an adsorbent suitable for binding aromas and essential oils, suitably granulated activated carbon, is used upstream of the cooler (condenser). Another adsorbent can of course also be used as the adsorbent, corresponding to the solvent and temperature circumstances. B. Kielselgel, Al2O3, synthetic adsorbent, etc. After the distillation, the adsorbent is washed through with a non-toxic, organic solvent, conveniently with ethyl acetate. The solution containing the flavors is also freed from the solvent under mild circumstances. The aroma concentrate can be mixed with the main mass of the product in any further phase of the work-up, expediently in the last step.
The flavor components can also be recovered by extracting them from the condensed aqueous solution.
The concentrate obtained can be converted into a conventional medicinal preparation by methods known per se, after addition of auxiliary substances. The lyophylization or nebulization drying of the concentrate is particularly expedient, in which case the extract with the aroma substances can be added to the product after the lyophylization.

A laboratory apparatus for vacuum distillation was put together in such a way that a pipe section was installed between the distillation flask and the cooler by means of ground transitions, each of which has a filter with G3 fritted glass insert at the top and bottom, and in which 20 g of granulated activated carbon were filled beforehand is. The vapors are led through this coal adsorbent. 25 The extract obtained above is concentrated in this vacuum distillation apparatus from approximately 360-390 ml to a volume of 65 ml.
After removing the vacuum distillation apparatus, the adsorbent is washed out with 50 ml of 20-25 ’C ethyl acetate. The washing solution is collected in a 100 ml flask and made solvent-free in a Rotavapor vacuum apparatus by evaporating the ethyl acetate. 30 The ethyl acetate content of the approximately 0.5 ml oil residue is checked by gas chromatography. If the residue is free from ethyl acetate, it can be combined with the concentrate by stirring.
Die analytische Prüfung des erhaltenen 65 ml Konzentrates ergibt folgendes: a. ) Trockensubstanz: 0,38 g/ml (auf 100 g Ausgangsgemisch berechnet: 24.7 g); b. ) Ätherischer Ölgehalt: 2,3 g/ml (auf 100 g Ausgangsgemisch berechnet: 150 mg); 35 c.) Flavonid-Gehalt als Rutosid: 1,8 mg/ml 1,8 mg/ml (auf 100 g Ausgangsgemisch berechnet: 117 mg).The analytical examination of the 65 ml concentrate obtained shows the following: a. ) Dry matter: 0.38 g / ml (calculated on 100 g of starting mixture: 24.7 g); b. ) Essential oil content: 2.3 g / ml (calculated on 100 g starting mixture: 150 mg); 35 c.) Flavonide content as rutoside: 1.8 mg / ml 1.8 mg / ml (calculated on 100 g starting mixture: 117 mg).
Beispiel 2Example 2
The starting drug and the beginning of the procedure are as in Example 1, 360-399 ml of clear medicinal plant extract is obtained.
In contrast to example 1, the extract is concentrated by means of vacuum distillation, but without activated carbon absorbent (final volume 65 ml). After the distillation has ended, the condensed water (approximately 300 ml) is transferred from the collecting flask to a shaking funnel and subsequently extracted with 3x50 ml of ethyl acetate. The combined solutions are freed from the solvent as in Example 1. The residue, 0.28 g of oil, is combined with the concentrate with stirring.
Die analytische Prüfung des erhaltenen 65 ml Konzentrates ergibt folgendes: a. ) Trockensubstanz-Gehalt: 0,38 g/ml (auf 100 g Ausgangsgemisch berechnet: 24,7 g); b. ) Ätherischer Ölgehalt: 2,15 g/ml (auf 100 g Ausgangsgemisch berechnet: 140 mg): c. ) Flavonid-Gehalt als Rutosid: 1,9 mg/ml (auf 100 g Ausgangsgemisch berechnet: 123,5 mg), soThe analytical examination of the 65 ml concentrate obtained shows the following: a. ) Dry matter content: 0.38 g / ml (calculated on 100 g of starting mixture: 24.7 g); b. ) Essential oil content: 2.15 g / ml (calculated on 100 g starting mixture: 140 mg): c. ) Flavonide content as rutoside: 1.9 mg / ml (calculated on 100 g of starting mixture: 123.5 mg), see above
Beispiel 3 (Referenzbeispiel)Example 3 (reference example)
Das feste Material wird filtriert und mit 200 g Wasser 5The starting drug is the same as in Example 1. The ground product is swollen with 300 g of water for 2.5 hours, then the dense, immiscible pulp is made 55 miscible by adding 700 ml of water. The operation is carried out in a 3 liter flask equipped with a stirrer. After dilution, a reflux condenser is mounted on the piston and heated with a piston crater. Heating continues until boiling, then the mixture is heated under reflux for a further 15 minutes, and then cooled back to 30'C. The solid material is filtered and 5 with 200 g of water
