Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

The invention relates to an outer wall panel, consisting of a thermal insulation panel and a ventilated, waterproof outer skin made of plastic. This panel can be mounted on a slatted frame like other cladding panels or directly on the raw outer wall, regardless of the construction.

The now common ways of protecting an outer wall against the effects of the weather are a) facade plasters with sealing additives, b) facade plasters with subsequent sealing coatings (e.g. rubber latex, dispersion, etc.). c) Facade panels made of Eternit, plastic etc. laid on slatted frames. d) Facade panels made of concrete or natural stone. e) cladding made of aluminum. f) Panels of ceramic material of various types with and without backfilling.

With these designs there are almost always structural or structural disadvantages, e.g. B.

Vapor barrier or vapor barrier in the outer skin, internal thermal insulation, high weight of various concrete slabs, etc.

In the case of rear-ventilated aluminum or natural stone facades with external thermal insulation, the high price prevents a corresponding spread. The aim of the invention is to create a facade panel which, in addition to flawless structural properties, is also cheap and easy to lay.

In the drawing, an example shape of the plate is shown as a horizontal section.

The plate is attached to the outer wall construction - l - for example using dowels and screws --2--. The panel consists of an insulating material --3-- and an essentially vapor-tight one
 EMI1.1
go through the entire height of the plate and are open to the outside air at the lower and upper ends for ventilation purposes. This can be done by simply protruding the plate. The shape of the ventilation holes - 6 - and rear ventilation channels - 4 - is completely variable.

   How the panels work:
The aim of the invention is to remove the water vapor generated in external wall constructions via porous
 EMI1.2
without the insulation material being soaked by condensate. At the same time, with the outer skin, which is completely variable in the surface design, perfect rain protection for the building is achieved with a very light weight and low cost.
