The invention relates to an equipment cabinet, in particular for electrical installation devices, in which the
Devices such as meters and circuit breakers are arranged in the installation field of a box made of insulating material. Such an equipment cabinet can be in a mounting device, for. B. a wall plaster box, in wall niches under
Plaster-mounted or surface-mounted. The side walls can then be enclosed with a cover sleeve.
Equipment cabinets made of insulating material are known to have the advantages with regard to sheet metal cabinets that they fulfill the protective measure of protective insulation and do not have to be included in the protective measures like sheet metal cabinets.
A well-known flush-mounted distribution - German utility model application No. 1990994 - for receiving installation devices, which consists of a device carrier, mounting frame and device cover, has as
Side walls on a hollow profile frame. This frame has, at least on one side, a recess open to the front for inserting the connecting lines. Although this design enables the connection lines to be installed more quickly than with the usual gland screw connections through which lines had to be passed through individually, it is, on the other hand, associated with subsequent milling work.
The invention relates to a substantial improvement and further development of the known design. The invention is based on the object of developing a construction system according to which equipment cabinets of different standard sizes can be produced simply, quickly and stably with a few hollow profile strips of staggered height that can be produced by extrusion and which allows the installation field for the installation devices to be divided up in various ways.
To solve the problem described, the invention provides that the box has a frame made of three hollow profile strips of staggered height with the upper end edge of the side walls lying in one plane, of which the highest profile strip forms three box sides and the lowest the fourth box side and the installation field through the middle-high hollow profile strip parallel to the lowest profile strip is divided, which ends with the lower box edge and that the hollow profile strips have laterally open projections with a U-shaped cross-section at their foot end and the medium-high hollow profile strip also at their head end to accommodate base plates or device cover plates.
With such a construction of the equipment cabinet from a system of only three hollow profile strips of staggered height, the cabinet size can be varied in a simple manner and the medium-high hollow profile strip provides variable installation fields in two levels regardless of the cabinet size. Device covers can also be arranged on the upper level. Plastics adapted to the respective purpose are particularly suitable as insulating material from which the system units can be manufactured. An essential embodiment of the invention is that the base plates are composed of unit fields by means of insulating profile strips which have guide grooves on two sides. This results in an even more variable structure of the equipment cabinet.
Favorable embodiments of the invention and their advantages will be further explained using exemplary embodiments that are shown schematically in the drawings: In Fig. 1, an equipment cabinet according to the invention, which is set up as a house distribution for two meters, is shown in perspective in plan view. FIG. 2 shows the perspective view of an equipment cabinet in which - based on FIG. 1 - the lower side has been cut off for the illustration. Fig. 3 shows the equipment cabinet according to Fig. 1 installed as a house distribution with counter, cut along III-III again. 4 shows a cross section through an equipment cabinet which has a base plate assembled by means of profile strips. In Fig. 5, a corner connection for the hollow profile strips is shown.
Fig. 2 shows an advantageous embodiment of the equipment cabinet, according to which the high hollow profile strips - and the low hollow profile strip --2 - and the medium-high hollow profile strip - 3 - consist of double walls that are supported by partition walls running in the longitudinal direction of the strips. The installation area --5-- is divided by the medium-high hollow profile strip --3--. The hollow profile strips have laterally open projections - 7 - with a U-shaped cross section at their foot ends - 6 - and the medium-high hollow profile strip --3 - also at their head end on the side that is not visible.
The molding - 7 - with a U-shaped cross section of the low hollow profile strip - 2 - corresponds to the molding with a U-shaped cross section at the head end of the hollow profile strip - 3--, which is not seen in the drawings. A plate can be inserted or screwed on here. When screwing on, the advantage is achieved that the screw end is covered in an insulating manner by the lower edge of the U-shaped design. The plate, which can be designed as a further base or as a device cover - 14 - lies in a second level above the base plate - 8 -.
In the equipment cabinet according to FIG. 1, in the area between the medium-high hollow profile strip - 3 - and the low hollow profile strip - 2 - rails or equipment supports - 9 - are mounted on the side walls, the high hollow profile strips - l -. In the case of house distribution, one speaks of the consumer room. In the lower installation field according to FIG. 1, counters, for example, can be mounted on the bottom plate - 8 - on the left and right, which is then referred to as the counter room.
The medium-high hollow profile strip - 3 - can be mounted on the side walls by means of screws - 10 - as shown.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Fig. 3 shows the equipment cabinet in a wall box - II - in flush use. The high hollow profile strip - l - and the low hollow profile strip --2-- advantageously have an outwardly protruding head end - 30--, which on its inside at least to a partial depth of the protruding

a counter mounted. In the upper installation area of the equipment cabinet, circuit breakers --13-- or fuses are mounted on mounting rails - 9--.
If the high or. the highest-hollow profile strip-l-as in the embodiment at the level of the head end of the medium-high hollow profile strip --3-- with a molding - 7 - provided with a U-shaped cross-section, the device field can be easily adjusted by means of another cut piece Subdivide the medium-high hollow profile strip further and attach a second cover --14--.
It is beneficial to also provide a lateral groove-15- in the low hollow profile strip --2-- at the foot end, which is matched to the protective conductor (SL) or center conductor rails (MP) that can be used in the profile. The protective conductor or center conductor rail is denoted by - 16 - and represented in symbolic form.
In the exemplary embodiment, a base plate --8-- is inserted in the lower installation area of the equipment cabinet, but it is omitted in the upper installation area in order to be able to insert the connecting cables even more easily. The device area - consumer room - is here through the wall plastering box - 11 - made of insulating material in the

engages.
In the cross-sectional view of a novel equipment cabinet according to FIG. 4, the side walls form from the
EMI2.3
Profile strips - 18 and 19 - are composed of insulating material. When the installation field is used as a meter room, the tunnel-shaped cover is called the terminal cover. The individual base plates are then usually called counter support plates. Understandably, the novel variable system is suitable for the construction of equipment cabinets for a wide variety of purposes.
Another advantageous embodiment relates to the connection technology on the box edges.
According to Fig. 5, which shows a parallel to the box bottom section through a box edge, are to the

With this type of connection, which can also be used to connect Hohlprotilleii. If different heights are suitable, the hollow profile strips are cut to the length of the box.
