Auf dem Boden der Gruben sind Fahrschienenstücke 15, 15' gelegt, auf denen die Quertransportwagen 16 geführt werden. Auf der Ladeplattform der Quertransponwa- gen befinden sich Gleisstücke 17, 17', die in Anfangs- bzw. Endstellung die Fahrschienenpaare 3, 3' bzw.
4, 4'verbinden und sich in gleicher Höhenlage wie diese befinden, so dass ein Kokillenwagen von einem Gleiskörper auf die Gleisstücke der Quertransportwagen gerollt-und zusammen mit diesem auf den anderen Gleiskörper verschoben werden kann.
Der Antrieb der Kokillenwagen erfolgt mittels der Seilwinde 18 und des Seilzuges 19, der über eine Anzahl von Rollen (Fig. 2) geführt und durch eine oder mehrere gewichtsbelastete Spannvorrichtungen 20 gespannt werden kann. Der Antrieb der Quertransportwa. gene : folgt zweckmässig durch eine davon unabhängige Antriebsvorrichtung, die mit 21 angedeutet ist.
Mit der erfindungsgemässen Quertransporteinrichtung besitzt man eine grosse Freizügigkeit in der Zusammenstellung der Kokillenwagengruppen. Beispielsweise kann ein Gleiskörper in der Giesshalle und ein anderer in der Stripperhalle verlaufen. Selbstverständlich können auch mehrere Längsgleiskörper vorhanden sein und die Quertransporte zwischen mehreren solcher Längsstrecken durchgeführt werden.
