Barrel pich machine.
The invention is directed to a barrel pich machine. able to inject the two or more types of pitch or other barrel lining agents one after the other into the barrel that is inserted via a nozzle, rotatable on the barrel support or resting on it and rotatable with the support. without the drum leaving its location and without the drum having to be conveyed through two or more nozzles.
In the drawing, the invention is illustrated in several embodiments, for example.

Instead of the boiler 1 shown in FIG. 1 and separated into two compartments by a partition 2, two or more individual boilers can be used as required.
Fig. 1-7 show the barrel pich machine with different barrel supports and controls for two different types of pitch or. other lining materials. When using a boiler with several compartments or several boilers with pumps and barrel supports according to Fig. 3 and 4 with several control elements, according to Fig. 5 with multi-way valve bodies or according to Fig. 6 with multi-way valve cones, one can of course also use three or more types of pitch or barrel lining means one after the other Inject the drum in place without having to lift the drum from the nozzles.
Pichening or lining the barrels with different types of pitch or lining material is done in the following way: In department 4, FIG. 1, of the pitch kettle 1 is z. B. Washout pitch and in Department 3 Neupech. The centrifugal pumps 6 and 7 are driven by shaft 8 and pulley 9

barrel resting on the barrel support in the horizontal plane by 450 in the clockwise direction, as barrel 26 shows, the control rod 24 is pressed downward due to the barrel weight through the barrel belly and the shut-off device 19 is opened. The leaching pitch from boiler compartment 4, FIG. 1, is then thrown into barrel 26 by pump 7, line 17, valve 19, nozzle 14.
If the barrel 26 is rotated by another 450 to the right in the manner indicated, the valve pin on the barrel belly 26 slides upwards and the valve 19 closes. The excess pitch can run out of the barrel 26. The longitudinal axis of the barrel 26 is at right angles to the shaft axis 8. When the barrel 26 is rotated another 450 to the right, the valve pin 22 is pressed down through the belly of the barrel 26,

in the barrel 26 is shut off. The barrel 26 can run out in this position. The same procedure is used for each subsequent barrel.
If the drum support 28 shown in FIG. 3 and rotatable about the vertical axis is used on the apparatus according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the drum with the drum support is rotated during its treatment, with the cam 32 on the drum support 28 controlling the valves 29 and 30 one after the other, alternating between them. The various types of pitch are fed through the lines 34 and 35 one after the other by means of the valves 29 and 30 of the nozzle 31. When using the barrel support 36 according to FIG. 4, which can be rotated about the vertical axis, the valves 37 and 38 are operated one after the other by pulling the angle levers 40 and 41 and cam 39, which sits on the wall of the barrel support.
If, according to FIG. 5, the drum support 42 with an attached tap cone 43 is used, the line 45 or 46 is brought into connection with the nozzle again by rotating the support.

usable. By virtue of the rotation of the support, different types of pitch are successively injected through the lines 52 or M, FIG. 6, through the nozzle 53 into the barrel. The above-
EMI2.4
When the axis is rotated, the line 51 is connected to the nozzle 53, and the outflow opening 54 lies above the channel 56. The superfluous Neupech injected into the barrel through the line 51 and nozzle 53 and then running out again runs through the outflow opening 54 into channel 56 and from here into boiler department 3.
