Abstract

Un aparato (1) y método de espesamiento adaptado para líquidos que llevan partículas suspendidas, tal como lechada que contiene minerales, cuando se dispone un tanque (2), en donde se produce la sedimentacion de solidos, un deposito de alimentacion (4), que incluye una cámara que posee medios para recibir material alimentado (11), tal como suspension y por lo menos una salida (5) en comunicacion fluída con el tanque y medios para distribuir el material en el tanque, medios para suministrar el material alimentado (11), por lo menos lechada, dentro del deposito de alimentacion, cuando dentro del deposito de alimentacion se dispone un espacio de mezcla separado (12) para el material alimentado (11), cuando se dispone por lo menos un elemento horizontal (7, 15, 22, 23) que alcanza por lo menos parcialmente la seccion transversal del deposito de alimentacion, desde cuyo espacio de mezcla el material alimentado (11) se deja fluir en otra seccion (14) del deposito de alimentacion.
