Abstract

La presente se refiere a un método para obtener un fleje de metal (1) por laminacion de fundicion, en el cual se funde primeramente un lingote delgado (3) en un dispositivo de fundicion (2) y a continuacion se lamina en al menos un tren de laminacion (4,5) aprovechando el calor primario de la operacion de fundicion. La presente prevé que para mejorar la funcionalidad de la planta de laminacion de fundicion, el lingote delgado fundido (3) pase tanto por un horno mantenedor del calor (6) como por al menos un horno de induccion (7) entre el dispositivo de fundicion (2) y el al menos un tren de laminacion (4,5) donde el horno mantenedor del calor (6) y el horno de induccion (7) son activados o desactivados de acuerdo con un modo de funcionamiento seleccionado, esto es, un primer modo de funcionamiento ara la obtencion continua del fleje de metal (1) y un segundo modo de funcionamiento para la obtencion discontinua del fleje de metal (1). La presente también se refiere a un dispositivo para obtener un fleje de metal por laminacion de fundicion.
