Abstract

Una maleta de equipaje que comprende una cubierta de tapa y una cubierta de base conectadas una con otra por medio de una bisagra. Los bordes de lascubiertas están asegurados uno con otro cuando la maleta está cerrada por medio de cerrojos. Loscerro jos están montados sobre la cubierta de tapa y, en lasparedes extremas de la maleta. Cuando estos cerrojos son liberados los mismos se proyectan hacia abajo y hacia afuera de manera de proveer medios para agarrarla cubierta de tapa para abrirla male ta. La maleta presenta dos ruedas y una manija de maniobra para hacer rodar la maleta en unmodo por medio de dos ruedas.Dos rodamientos multidireccionales se encuentran dispuestos sobre la pared posterior de la maleta y una manija de tiroestá provis ta sobre la pared frontal dela maleta. La manija de tiro puede ser utilizada para tirar de la maleta sobre las ruedas y los rodamientos en un modo en que se usan las dos ruedas y losrodamientos.La manija portadora está fijada al marcoresistente de la maleta de manera de no pivotar. Está hecha de goma termoplástica de manera de permitir unmovimiento torsional o leve inclinacion para la comodidad del viajante. El cerrojo está disenado para operar fácilmente en el espacio limitadoque estádisponi ble bajo la manija portadora.
