Abstract
Un proceso para producir en forma continua materiales de chicle en una mezcladora de extrusion continua que se utiliza preferentemente con unmecanismo de mezclado de dos tornillos rotantes. El ingrediente de azucar del producto de chicles e divide en dos porciones para mejorar la textura delproducto final. Una porcion se agrega en el extremo corriente arriba inicial del proceso de extrusion, mientras que la otra porcion se agrega despuésde que la mayoria de los demásingredientes y a se han incluido en la masa de goma de mascar. Los ingredientes saborizantes pueden dividirse también endos porciones, una porcion introducida en el proceso de extrusion corriente arriba del material de azucar y la otraporcion introducida co rriente abajode los otros ingredientes. La division de los ingredientes de azucar y saborizantes afecta los perfiles de textura y liberacion de sabor del productofinal de goma de mascar.
