Abstract
Un dispositivo desechable hueco, de forma frustoconica, se usa en un aparato para medir la concentracion de un analito en una muestra de un fluidobiologico; el extremo más pequeno del dispositivo troncoconico tiene una membrana porosa,a la cual se puede aplicar una muestra del fluido;preferiblemente, un reactivo en la membrana reacciona con el analito para producir un cambio de color; el dispositivo está montado en un medidor, quemide el cambio de color y a partir delcambio calcula la concentracion de analito en la muestra; el aparato permite una dosificacion remota deldispositivo, que reduce al mínimo la probabilidad de contaminacion cruzada entre el usuario y el medidor; en el medidor se puedenmontar y de smontardispositivos sin hacer contacto con ellos, para proteger adicionalmente contra contaminacion.
