- a system for treating mined material comprising: a main structure defining an internal volume between a floor, roof and opposing sidewalls, the internal volume having a substantially constant cross-section along a length thereof; a displacement arrangement comprising a plurality of partitions, the displacement arrangement arranged to extend through the internal volume such that a plurality of compartments is defined within the internal volume between consecutive partitions, the plurality of partitions configured to be displaced, in use, through the internal volume in a displacement direction; and a treatment device associated with a treatment zone which is defined within the internal volume, wherein, in use, material is received in the plurality of compartments and displaced in the displacement direction by the displacement arrangement through the internal volume and treated by the treatment device as it is displaced through the treatment zone.

Abstract
La présente invention concerne un système (10) de traitement de minerais extraits faisant intervenir un rayonnement électromagnétique de haute intensité, tel qu'un rayonnement micro-ondes, et un procédé faisant appel audit système (10). Le système comprend une structure principale (12) délimitant un volume interne (14) entre un plancher (16), un toit (18) et des parois latérales (20) en regard, un agencement de déplacement (22) et un dispositif de traitement (30) associé à une zone de traitement (32) à l'intérieur du volume interne (14). L'agencement de déplacement (22) comprend une pluralité de cloisons (24) qui délimitent une pluralité de compartiments (26) à l'intérieur du volume interne. La pluralité de cloisons (24) sont conçues pour être déplacées, lors de l'utilisation, à travers le volume interne (14) selon un sens de déplacement (28). Un matériau est reçu de manière fonctionnelle dans les compartiments (26), déplacé selon le sens de déplacement (28) par l'agencement de déplacement (22) à travers le volume interne (14), et traité par le dispositif de traitement (30) pendant qu'il est déplacé à travers la zone de traitement (32).
