本発明は、パラジウム含有組成物、および、該パラジウム含有組成物を使用し、水素と酸素を直接反応させて過酸化水素を得る、過酸化水素の製造方法に関する。
過酸化水素は、酸化力を有し強力な漂白・殺菌作用を持つことから、紙、パルプ、繊維等の漂白剤、殺菌剤として利用されており、また、エポキシ化及びヒドロキシル化をはじめとする酸化反応に広範囲に用いられる重要な工業製品である。
更に過酸化水素は、半導体産業において半導体基板等の表面の清浄に、銅、錫及び他の銅合金表面の化学的研磨に、及び電子回路の蝕刻等に用いられる。そして、過酸化水素は分解生成物が水と酸素であるため、グリーンケミストリーの観点から重要な位置付けがなされており、塩素系漂白剤の代替材料としても注目されている。
過酸化水素の製造法としてはアントラキノン法、電解法、イソプロピルアルコールの酸化による方法などが知られているが、従来、工業的には主にアントラキノン法が採用されている。しかし、アントラキノン法は、アントラキノンの水素添加、空気による酸化、水による生成した過酸化水素の抽出、更には精製、濃縮等といったように多段階からなる方法であるため、設備投資が高くなる、エネルギーを多量に使用する、アントラキノンを溶解するための有機溶剤の大気への放出がある等の問題点がある。
上記の問題点を解決する方法として、特許文献1は、水素と酸素とを反応させる過酸化水素の直接合成法(直接法とも言う)において、反応系に貴金属を含むコロイド粒子が分散した貴金属コロイド溶液を共存させて反応させることを提案している。特許文献1には、当該方法により、高い製造効率で過酸化水素を製造することができると記載されているが、製造効率に関しては改善の余地が大いにあった。
従って、高い製造効率で過酸化水素を製造することができる、過酸化水素の製造方法が求められている。
また、上記の製造方法に使用することができる、パラジウム含有組成物も求められている。
すなわち、本発明は、以下の通りである。

本発明のパラジウム含有組成物は、被覆剤中のO=X構造に起因してパラジウム粒子を疎水性とすることができる。そのため、例えば過酸化水素の直接法において、本発明のパラジウム含有組成物を触媒として使用すると、反応媒として有機溶媒と水または水溶液との混合溶媒を用いることができ、その結果、効率よく過酸化水素を製造することができる。
本発明の一態様では、水素と酸素を反応させる直接法により過酸化水素を製造する。直接法では、パラジウム触媒を使用する。
本発明では、パラジウム触媒として、パラジウム粒子及び該パラジウム粒子の表面を覆う被覆剤を含むパラジウム含有組成物(以下、本発明のパラジウム含有組成物と呼ぶことがある。)を使用する。
<パラジウム含有組成物>
本発明のパラジウム含有組成物は、公知のパラジウム粒子触媒と被覆剤とを混合することで得られる。

公知のパラジウム粒子としては、例えば、パラジウム単体;酢酸パラジウム、塩化パラジウム、硝酸パラジウム、パラジウム(II)アセチルアセトナートなどのパラジウム塩類;テトラクロロパラジウム酸アンモニウム、テトラアンミンパラジウム(II)塩化物一水和物などのパラジウム錯塩;などの粒子が例示される。
パラジウム粒子は、コロイド粒子であることが好ましい。具体的な平均粒径については、特に制限はないが、通常は1~10nmが好ましく、1~7nmがより好ましく、1~6nmが特に好ましく、3~6nmが最も好ましい。平均粒径は、TEM写真に写った粒子の直径を任意に100個計測し、その平均値を算出することで確認することができる。
被覆剤は、パラジウム粒子表面を化学的に修飾する役割を有し、保護剤と呼ばれることもある。本発明では、被覆剤として、O=X構造(Xは、リン原子、硫黄原子、及び炭素原子のいずれかを示す)を有する化合物を含有するもの(以下、O=X構造を有する被覆剤と略称することがある。)を使用することが大切である。
従来、直接法では、パラジウム触媒存在下の水中で水素と酸素を反応させ、過酸化水素を生成させてきたが、この方法では、過酸化水素の生成速度を上げるための努力を様々行っても、成果が出てこなかった。本発明者らが鋭意検討した結果、その原因の一つとして、生成した過酸化水素(H2O2)がパラジウム触媒と接触してラジカル(・OH)となり、ラジカルが水素と反応して水になるという、過酸化水素分解の問題があった。パラジウム触媒と過酸化水素の接触を最大限に回避するためには、溶媒として水と有機溶媒の混合液を用い、パラジウム触媒を有機層に偏在させ、過酸化水素を水に偏在させることが効果的である。よって、パラジウム粒子を疎水性(非水系)とするべく、本発明では、O=X構造を有する被覆剤でパラジウム粒子を覆うのである。
O=X構造を有する化合物としては、具体的に、トリフェニルホスフィンオキシド、トリオクチルホスフィンオキシド、メチル(ジフェニル)ホスフィンオキシド、trans,trans-1,5-ジフェニル-1,4-ペンタジエン-3-オン、ジフェニルスルホキシド、ジフェニルスルホン等が挙げられる。
O=X構造を有する化合物は、入手のしやすさの観点から、更に、アリール基または炭素数1~10のアルキル基を有することが好ましい。
O=X構造におけるXとしては、特に過酸化水素生成速度が速いので、リン原子または硫黄原子が好ましく、具体的には、O=X構造を有する化合物が、トリフェニルホスフィンオキシド、ジフェニルスルホキシドまたはジフェニルスルホンであることが好ましく、ジフェニルスルホキシドまたはジフェニルスルホンであることがより好ましい。これらの化合物を被覆剤として用いたときに特に過酸化水素生成速度が速くなる理由は定かではないが、本発明者らは、分極率の偏りが影響していると推察している。即ち、O=X構造の電子密度が大きく分極率が大きいものほど過酸化水素の生成速度が速くなる傾向にあると考えている。
O=X構造を有する被覆剤の量は、O=X構造を有する被覆剤の分子量等によって適宜決定されるが、パラジウム粒子に対して50~10,000質量%が好ましく、100~7,500質量%がより好ましく、100~4,000質量%がさらに好ましく、100~2,000質量%が特に好ましく、100~1,000質量%が最も好ましい。使用量が過少であると、有機溶媒に対する親和性付与効果が低くなる虞があり、過多であると、格段の利点がないばかりか、製造コスト増大というデメリットが生じることとなる。
更に、過酸化水素の生成をより活性化する観点から、本発明のパラジウム含有組成物には、白金粒子を配合することが好ましい。白金粒子としては、白金を中心金属として有し、ポルフィリン、フェニルピリジン、ビピリジン、タ―ピリジン、サレン、フェニルピリジン、アセチルアセトナート等を配位子として有する白金錯体;塩化白金酸;シス-ジアミンジクロロ白金(II)などを含む粒子が例示される。白金粒子は、好適には、ビス(アセチルアセトナート)白金(II)粒子である。
白金粒子は、特に、白金コロイド粒子であることが好ましい。具体的な平均粒径については、特に制限はないが、通常は1~10nmが好ましく、1~7nmがより好ましく、1~6nmが特に好ましく、3~6nmが最も好ましい。白金コロイド粒子の表面も、上述の被覆剤で覆われていることが好ましい。
更にまた、本発明のパラジウム含有組成物には、Pd(II)をPd(0)に還元するための還元剤を配合することが好ましい。還元剤としては、オレイン酸、ヒドラジン、NaBH4、アルコール等が挙げられる。還元剤としては、オレイン酸が好ましい。
還元剤の使用量は、適宜決定されるが、通常はパラジウム粒子に対して5~10,000質量%が好ましい。
本発明のパラジウム含有組成物は、有機溶媒の存在下、通常は20~100℃で、好適には30~80℃で,特に好適には40~60℃でパラジウム粒子と被覆剤を混合撹拌して製造される。白金粒子を使用する場合は、パラジウム粒子および白金粒子と被覆剤とを混合攪拌する。
有機溶媒としては、公知のものを適宜選択して使用すればよく、例えばクロロホルム、アセトン、アセトニトリル、炭酸エステル等を使用すればよい。
有機溶媒は、Pd塩を溶解できるような量で使用すればよいが、パラジウム粒子に対して500~30,000質量%が好ましく、1,000~20,000質量%がより好ましく、1,000~3,000質量%が特に好ましい。
白金粒子を配合する場合、パラジウム粒子:白金粒子(モル)が99:1~50:50であることが好ましく、99:1~90:10であることがより好ましく、99:1~95:5であることが特に好ましい。
<過酸化水素の製造>
かくして得られたパラジウム含有組成物を、好適にはパラジウム含有組成物のみを触媒として用い、常法に従い、水素と酸素を反応させて過酸化水素を製造することができる。

好適には、パラジウム含有組成物と有機溶媒を混合してパラジウム含有液を調製し、得られたパラジウム含有液と水または水溶液とを混合して混合液を調製し、混合液中に水素と酸素を供給して過酸化水素を発生させるとよい。
既に説明したように、有機溶媒と水または水溶液とを混合した反応媒を用いると、過酸化水素生成反応の際に、パラジウム粒子は有機層中に存在し、生成した過酸化水素は水層中へと溶解していく。このように、反応の最中にパラジウム粒子と過酸化水素を分離することで、パラジウム粒子と過酸化水素の接触を極力回避することができ、過酸化水素の分解を抑制することができる。実際後述の実施例では、過酸化水素の分解が抑制された結果として、単位時間あたりの過酸化水素生成モル量を示す過酸化水素生成速度が大変速いことが示されている。また、消費した水素量に対する過酸化水素の生成に使用された水素量の割合を示す「選択率」も向上している。生成反応終了後の水層には、高濃度の過酸化水素が溶解している。
また、パラジウム含有組成物が白金粒子を含んでいる場合には、過酸化水素がより活性化される傾向にある。その理由は定かではないが、白金粒子により、水素の活性化がより進みやすくなるためと推察される。
パラジウム含有液の調製に使用する有機溶媒としては、非極性溶媒と極性溶媒のいずれも使用可能である。非極性溶媒としては、芳香族炭化水素類、具体的には、ベンゼン;炭素数1~5のアルキル置換基を含むベンゼン誘導体;キノン誘導体;ヒドロキノン誘導体;メチルナフタレン;などが挙げられる。ベンゼン誘導体としては、例えばトルエン、ブチルベンゼン、プソイドクメン(1,2,4-トリメチルベンゼン)、1,3,4-トリメチルベンゼン、1,2,5-トリメチルベンゼン、メシチレン(1,3,5-トリメチルベンゼン)、tert-ブチルベンゼン、tert-ブチルトルエンが挙げられる。極性溶媒としては、ジイソブチルカルビノール等の高級アルコール、カルボン酸エステル、四置換尿素、環状尿素、トリオクチルリン酸などが例示される。パラジウム含有液の調製には、有機溶媒を1種単独で用いてもよく、2種以上混合して用いてもよい。有機溶媒としては、これまでアントラキノン法で使用されてきた有機溶媒であるという観点から、ベンゼン誘導体が好ましく、特にトルエンが好ましい。
パラジウム含有液の調製に用いる有機溶媒は、混合液において有機層と水層の比率が後述の範囲内となるような量とすればよい。
パラジウム含有液中のパラジウム濃度は、触媒として効果的に機能する観点から、好適には5mmol/L以上、より好適には10mmol/L以上、特に好適には30mmol/L以上である。上限は、特に制限されないが、好適には100mmol/L以下、より好適には80mmol/L以下、特に好適には50mmol/L以下である。
パラジウム含有組成物が白金粒子を含んでいる場合において、パラジウム含有液中の白金濃度は、好適には0.2mmol/L以上、より好適には0.4mmol/L以上、さらに好適には1.1mmol/L以上、特に好適には1.2mmol/L以上である。上限は、特に制限されないが、好適には4.0mmol/L以下、より好適には3.5mmol/L以下、特に好適には2.0mmol/L以下である。
水または水溶液としては、好適には、臭化ナトリウム(NaBr)を含む水溶液を使用する。臭化ナトリウム濃度は、0mmol/Lより高く100mmol/L以下であることが好ましく、特に5~50mmol/Lであることが好ましい。
水または水溶液が臭化ナトリウム含有水溶液である場合、有機溶媒が、ベンゼン誘導体であり、且つ、混合液の調製に際し、パラジウム含有液と、臭化ナトリウム水溶液とを混合することが好ましい。
水溶液中には、更にリン酸(H3PO4)を溶解させてもよい。その場合、リン酸濃度は、0mmol/Lより高く10mmol/L以下であることが好ましい。水溶液中にリン酸が溶解していると、水溶液は酸性側に片寄る。
酸性水溶液は、過酸化水素の分解速度を抑制して過酸化水素の生成をより速くする傾向にあり、好ましい。酸性水溶液のpH(25℃)は、7未満であり、好適には3.5未満であり、過酸化水素の蓄積性がより高いという観点から、特に好適には0.5~2.0である。酸性水溶液のpHを3以下、特に1以下とする場合には、上述のリン酸以外に、硫酸、塩酸等の強酸を使用することが好ましく、特に硫酸を使用することが好ましい。例えば硫酸を使用する場合、硫酸濃度は、0.01~10mol/Lであることが好ましい。
水素および酸素を添加する前の混合液の一例の写真を、図1に示す。図1(a)から理解されるように、混合液は、水または水溶液からなる水相と、パラジウム含有液からなる有機相との2相系である。図1(b)は、図1(a)の有機層のTEM写真である。図1(b)の有機層では、パラジウム粒子同士が凝集してコロイド粒子となっており、コロイド粒子の周囲を被覆剤が覆っている。被覆剤に覆われたパラジウムコロイド粒子は、有機溶媒中で均一に分散している。
混合液において、有機層(パラジウム含有液)と水層(水または水溶液)の比率(体積比)は、有機層:水層=15:1~0.04:1が好ましく、3.5:1~0.35:1がより好ましい。水層が過多であると、反応終了後の水層における過酸化水素濃度が低くなる虞がある。
水素と酸素を供給しての過酸化水素生成反応の完了後は、有機層と水層とを分離し、常法に従って水層から過酸化水素水溶液を得る。
本明細書では、主に、水と有機溶媒の混合液を使用した過酸化水素の製造方法について説明をしてきたが、水性溶媒を使用する従来の直接法に、本発明のパラジウム含有組成物を触媒として使用しても、ある程度優れた過酸化水素製造効率を実現することができる。
また、本明細書では、本発明のパラジウム含有組成物に関し、過酸化水素製造用触媒として使用する場合について主に説明してきたが、本発明のパラジウム含有組成物は、疎水性(非水系)パラジウム粒子が含まれているという特徴を活かせる限り、他の用途にも好適に使用することができ、例えば他の化学反応において触媒として使用することができる。
以下の実施例により本発明を更に具体的に説明するが、本発明は以下の実施例によって限定されるものではない。
<水層中の過酸化水素濃度の測定>
各実施例および比較例で得られた水層を、ヨウ素電量滴定法に基づく過酸化水素自動滴定装置(平沼産業株式会社製 殺菌洗浄液濃度カウンタシリーズ 過酸化水素カウンタ HP-300)を用いて分析し、水層中の過酸化水素濃度(モル数)を求めた。
各実施例および比較例で得られた水層を、ヨウ素電量滴定法に基づく過酸化水素自動滴定装置(平沼産業株式会社製 殺菌洗浄液濃度カウンタシリーズ 過酸化水素カウンタ HP-300)を用いて分析し、水層中の過酸化水素濃度(モル数)を求めた。
<反応系からの排気に含まれる水素量の測定>
反応系からの排気を、ガスクロマトグラフィー(GC-TCD)で分析し、排気中の水素量(モル数)を求めた。

二口ナスフラスコに酢酸パラジウム112mg(0.5mmol、酢酸パラジウムの分子量224.51)とトリフェニルホスフィンオキシド2.78g(10mmol、トリフェニルホスフィンオキシドの分子量278.29)を添加した。さらにクロロホルム4.0mLを加え、50℃にて攪拌して溶解させた。引き続き、オレイン酸3.2mLを加えて50℃にて1時間加熱しながら撹拌し、黒色の溶液を得た。加熱を止め、室温まで冷却した。かくしてパラジウム含有組成物を得た。得られたパラジウム含有組成物に、全量が45mLとなるようトルエンを加えて、トリフェニルホスフィンオキシド/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム含有液Aを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量(前記の「全量」)から算出される、パラジウム含有液A中のパラジウム含有量は、11.1mmol/Lであった。TEM観察をおこない、パラジウムナノコロイドの大きさを測定したところ平均5.9nmであった。

<実施例2>
トリフェニルホスフィンオキシド2.78gの代わりにトリオクチルホスフィンオキシド3.87g(10mmol)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、トリオクチルホスフィンオキシド/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム含有液Bを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量から算出される、パラジウム含有液B中のパラジウム含有量は、11.1mmol/Lであった。
トリフェニルホスフィンオキシド2.78gの代わりにトリオクチルホスフィンオキシド3.87g(10mmol)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、トリオクチルホスフィンオキシド/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム含有液Bを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量から算出される、パラジウム含有液B中のパラジウム含有量は、11.1mmol/Lであった。
<実施例3>
トリフェニルホスフィンオキシド2.78gの代わりにメチル(ジフェニル)ホスフィンオキシド2.16g(10mmol)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、メチル(ジフェニル)ホスフィンオキシド/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム含有液Cを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量から算出される、パラジウム含有液C中のパラジウム含有量は、11.1mmol/Lであった。
トリフェニルホスフィンオキシド2.78gの代わりにメチル(ジフェニル)ホスフィンオキシド2.16g(10mmol)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、メチル(ジフェニル)ホスフィンオキシド/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム含有液Cを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量から算出される、パラジウム含有液C中のパラジウム含有量は、11.1mmol/Lであった。
<実施例4>
トリフェニルホスフィンオキシド2.78gの代わりにtrans,trans-1,5-ジフェニル-1,4-ペンタジエン-3-オン2.34g(10mmol)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、trans,trans-1,5-ジフェニル-1,4-ペンタジエン-3-オン/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム含有液Dを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量から算出される、パラジウム含有液D中のパラジウム含有量は、11.1mmol/Lであった。

<実施例5>

トリフェニルホスフィンオキシド2.78gの代わりにジフェニルスルホキシド2.02g(10mmol)を用いた以外は、実施例5と同様にして、ジフェニルスルホキシド/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム含有液Gを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量から算出される、パラジウム含有液G中のパラジウム含有量は、10.0mmol/Lであった。
トリフェニルホスフィンオキシド2.78gの代わりにジフェニルスルホキシド2.02g(10mmol)を用いた以外は、実施例5と同様にして、ジフェニルスルホキシド/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム含有液Gを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量から算出される、パラジウム含有液G中のパラジウム含有量は、10.0mmol/Lであった。
<比較例1>
トリフェニルホスフィンオキシド2.78gの代わりにオレイルアミン2.67g(10mmol)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、オレイルアミン/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム含有液Iを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量から算出される、パラジウム含有液I中のパラジウム含有量は、11.1mmol/Lであった。
トリフェニルホスフィンオキシド2.78gの代わりにオレイルアミン2.67g(10mmol)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、オレイルアミン/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム含有液Iを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量から算出される、パラジウム含有液I中のパラジウム含有量は、11.1mmol/Lであった。
<実施例7>
実施例1で得られたパラジウム含有液A40mL、および、H3PO4(リン酸)=0.5mmol/LとNaBr(臭化ナトリウム)=2mmol/Lとを溶解した水溶液90mLを、攪拌装置とガス吹込み管を備えたオートクレーブに装てんし、混合液を得た。この時の水層と有機層の割合(水溶液/パラジウム含有液、体積比)は、2.25であった。
実施例1で得られたパラジウム含有液A40mL、および、H3PO4(リン酸)=0.5mmol/LとNaBr(臭化ナトリウム)=2mmol/Lとを溶解した水溶液90mLを、攪拌装置とガス吹込み管を備えたオートクレーブに装てんし、混合液を得た。この時の水層と有機層の割合(水溶液/パラジウム含有液、体積比)は、2.25であった。
引き続き、窒素雰囲気下で10気圧まで加圧し、混合液を1000rpmで攪拌しながら、20℃でH2=10体積%、O2=18体積%、N2=72体積%の混合ガスを250cc/minの流速で流通した。
2時間反応した後に減圧し、水層中の過酸化水素濃度と反応系からの排気に含まれる水素量を測定した。これらの測定結果から、過酸化水素生成速度、水素転化率および選択率を算出した。結果を表1に示した。
<実施例8~10、比較例2>
パラジウム含有液Aの代わりに、実施例2~4及び比較例1で得られたパラジウム含有液B~D及びパラジウム含有液Iを用いた以外は実施例7と同様にして、過酸化水素を製造し、各種測定および算出を行った。結果を表1に示した。

二口ナスフラスコに酢酸パラジウム786mg(3.5mmol、酢酸パラジウムの分子量224.51)とジフェニルスルホキシド2.02g(10mmol、ジフェニルスルホキシドの分子量202.79)を添加した。さらにクロロホルム4.0mLを加え、50℃にて攪拌して溶解させた。引き続き、オレイン酸3.2mLを加えて50℃にて1時間加熱しながら撹拌し、黒色の溶液を得た。加熱を止め、室温まで冷却した。かくしてパラジウム含有組成物を得た。得られたパラジウム含有組成物に、全量が100mLとなるようトルエンを加えて、ジフェニルスルホキシド/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム含有液Jを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量(前記の「全量」)から算出される、パラジウム含有液J中のパラジウム含有量は、35.0mmol/Lであった。
二口ナスフラスコに酢酸パラジウム786mg(3.5mmol、酢酸パラジウムの分子量224.51)とジフェニルスルホキシド2.02g(10mmol、ジフェニルスルホキシドの分子量202.79)を添加した。さらにクロロホルム4.0mLを加え、50℃にて攪拌して溶解させた。引き続き、オレイン酸3.2mLを加えて50℃にて1時間加熱しながら撹拌し、黒色の溶液を得た。加熱を止め、室温まで冷却した。かくしてパラジウム含有組成物を得た。得られたパラジウム含有組成物に、全量が100mLとなるようトルエンを加えて、ジフェニルスルホキシド/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム含有液Jを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量(前記の「全量」)から算出される、パラジウム含有液J中のパラジウム含有量は、35.0mmol/Lであった。
<実施例15>
ジフェニルスルホキシド2.02gの代わりにジフェニルスルホン2.18g(10mmol、ジフェニルスルホンの分子量218.27)を用いた以外は、実施例14と同様にして、ジフェニルスルホン/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム含有液Kを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量から算出される、パラジウム含有液K中のパラジウム含有量は、35.0mmol/Lであった。
ジフェニルスルホキシド2.02gの代わりにジフェニルスルホン2.18g(10mmol、ジフェニルスルホンの分子量218.27)を用いた以外は、実施例14と同様にして、ジフェニルスルホン/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム含有液Kを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量から算出される、パラジウム含有液K中のパラジウム含有量は、35.0mmol/Lであった。

実施例14で得られたパラジウム含有液J100mL、および、NaBr=10mmol/Lを溶解した水溶液170mL(硫酸を加えてpH1に調整)を、攪拌装置とガス吹込み管を備えたオートクレーブに装てんし、混合液を得た。この時の水層と有機層の割合(水溶液/パラジウム含有液、体積比)は、1.70であった。
引き続き、窒素雰囲気下で10気圧まで加圧し、混合液を1000rpmで攪拌しながら、20℃でH2=10体積%、O2=18体積%、N2=72体積%の混合ガスを250cc/minの流速で流通した。

二口ナスフラスコに酢酸パラジウム786mg(3.5mmol)、白金ビス(アセチルアセトナート)白金(II)49mg(純度:97質量%、0.12mmol、C10H14O4Pt)、ジフェニルスルホン2.18g(10mmol)を添加した。なお、パラジウム:白金(モル)=96.8:3.2であった。さらにクロロホルム4.0mLを加え、50℃にて攪拌して溶解させた。引き続き、オレイン酸3.2mLを加えて50℃にて1時間加熱しながら撹拌し、黒色の溶液を得た。加熱を止め、室温まで冷却した。かくしてパラジウム-白金含有組成物を得た。得られたパラジウム-白金含有組成物に、全量が100mLとなるようトルエンを加えて、ジフェニルスルホキシド/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム-白金含有液Lを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量(前記の「全量」)から算出される、パラジウム含有液L中のパラジウム含有量は、35.0mmol/Lであった。
二口ナスフラスコに酢酸パラジウム786mg(3.5mmol)、白金ビス(アセチルアセトナート)白金(II)49mg(純度:97質量%、0.12mmol、C10H14O4Pt)、ジフェニルスルホン2.18g(10mmol)を添加した。なお、パラジウム:白金(モル)=96.8:3.2であった。さらにクロロホルム4.0mLを加え、50℃にて攪拌して溶解させた。引き続き、オレイン酸3.2mLを加えて50℃にて1時間加熱しながら撹拌し、黒色の溶液を得た。加熱を止め、室温まで冷却した。かくしてパラジウム-白金含有組成物を得た。得られたパラジウム-白金含有組成物に、全量が100mLとなるようトルエンを加えて、ジフェニルスルホキシド/パラジウムナノコロイド粒子を含むパラジウム-白金含有液Lを得た。仕込みの酢酸パラジウム量と溶液量(前記の「全量」)から算出される、パラジウム含有液L中のパラジウム含有量は、35.0mmol/Lであった。
<実施例21>
パラジウム含有液Jの代わりに、実施例20で得られたパラジウム-白金含有液Lを用いた以外は実施例16と同様にして、過酸化水素を製造し、各種測定および算出を行った。結果を表1に示した。

Claims (18)
- パラジウム粒子及び該パラジウム粒子の表面を覆う被覆剤を含むパラジウム含有組成物であって、
前記被覆剤として、O=X構造(Xは、リン原子、硫黄原子、及び炭素原子のいずれかを示す)を有する化合物を含有することを特徴とする、パラジウム含有組成物。 - 前記化合物が、更に、アリール基または炭素数1~10のアルキル基を有する、請求項1に記載のパラジウム含有組成物。
- 前記化合物において、Xがリン原子または硫黄原子である、請求項1または2に記載のパラジウム含有組成物。
- 前記化合物が、トリフェニルホスフィンオキシド、ジフェニルスルホキシドまたはジフェニルスルホンである、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載のパラジウム含有組成物。
- 前記パラジウム粒子が、パラジウムコロイド粒子である、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載のパラジウム含有組成物。
- 前記パラジウムコロイド粒子の粒径が、1~10nmである、請求項5に記載のパラジウム含有組成物。
- さらに白金粒子を含有する、請求項1~6のいずれかに記載のパラジウム含有組成物。
- 前記白金粒子が白金コロイド粒子であり、該白金コロイド粒子が前記被覆剤で覆われている、請求項7に記載のパラジウム含有組成物。
- 水素と酸素を反応させることによる過酸化水素の製造において、触媒として用いられる、請求項1~8のいずれかに記載のパラジウム含有組成物。
- 請求項1~9のいずれかに記載のパラジウム含有組成物と有機溶媒とを含有する、パラジウム含有液。
- パラジウム濃度が5mmol/L以上である、請求項10に記載のパラジウム含有液。
- 水素と酸素を反応させて過酸化水素を得る、過酸化水素の製造方法であって、
請求項1~9のいずれかに記載のパラジウム含有組成物を触媒として用いることを特徴とする、過酸化水素の製造方法。 - 前記パラジウム含有組成物と有機溶媒を混合してパラジウム含有液を調製し、
該パラジウム含有液と水または水溶液とを混合して混合液を調製し、
該混合液中に水素と酸素を供給して過酸化水素を発生させる、請求項12に記載の製造方法。 - 前記有機溶媒が、ベンゼン誘導体であり、且つ、
前記混合液の調製に際し、前記パラジウム含有液と、臭化ナトリウム水溶液とを混合する、請求項13に記載の製造方法。 - 前記有機溶媒が、トルエンである、請求項14に記載の製造方法。
- 過酸化水素発生後の反応液において、前記パラジウム粒子が有機層中に存在しており、前記過酸化水素が水層中に溶解している、請求項13~15のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
- 触媒として、前記パラジウム含有組成物のみを使用する、請求項12~16のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
- 前記水または水溶液が、pH0.5~2.0の酸性水溶液である、請求項13~17のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
