Abstract

Anchoring system for clothes or bags including: A clip (1) for releasably securing a piece of clothing like bedclothes or beddings, duvet (3) or quilt, duvet cover (2), sheet, blanket, towel or dishclothes; Anchoring means like a hook (4), adhesive band, screw, multiple hooks, first anchoring base, second anchoring base, hook&loop band or magnet, for fixedly attaching or removably anchoring the clip (1) to a wall, door, bed frame, bed bolster, mattress, etc; and Union means (9, 10) like a hole in the clip (1) and a connecting pivot (9) in the anchoring means, for exchangeably coupling them with the clip (1). Useful for encasing duvets, holding bedding during sleep, closing bags, and as wall clothes hangers, at home, hotels or hospitals. Further are claimed a method of encasing duvets and the clip (1). A wall hanger, an improved clip design, and several anchoring means designs for all kinds of beds are disclosed.

Description

ANCHORING SYSTEM FOR CLOTHES OR BAGS, CLIP THEREFOR

AND METHOD OF ENCASING A DUVET

This filing substitutes for the previous Spanish filings P201700585 of 5 May 2017 (05.05.2017) and P201700703 of 23 August 2017 (23.08.2017) which priority is claimed.

FIELD OF INVENTION

This invention relates to systems for anchoring a piece of clothing to a stable object or surface by using a clamping member or clip and some anchoring means. Provides a system for encasing duvets, for securing bedclothes during sleep and for hanging clothes on a wall.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Duvets, or quilts, are very common but need an excessive effort for placing the duvet into the cover. None of the systems or methods provided up to now are widespread in the markets, in spite of the presence of many and quite old documents. Some of the next examples are useful also for securing bedclothes during sleep. Some documents use the solution "Eccentric Axe", including a piece that is held by an eccentric axe. When turned round, the piece gets closer or distant from another piece which remains fixed:

WO 2017/009609 Al provides an anchoring apparatus for bedclothes which clamping means work similarly to a latch in a toolbox.

And also GB 2247169 A, US 9591929 Bl, ES 2541012 T3. Another solution is the "Spring Clip", of clips having a spring for keeping them closed:

GB 2499365 A shows a big clip having a plate to be slid in between a mattress and a bed frame.

GB 725303 A describes a clip with locking means for holding beddings.

Some patent documents include a solution of the kind of "Clip having a Latch"; which make use of a clip having two elongate, straight and parallel members, with a hinge joining them at one of their ends, and a latch in the other end:

DE 361977 C shows a big clip securing a duvet.

WO 9321802 Al shows an arrangement of clips which are coupled through a cord that needs to be extended behind the head of the bed.

US 4829617 A comprises a semi-circular clip clamping bedclothes for securing them to a bed frame with elastics. Not being straight, this clip is not strong enough for securing the corner of a duvet, neither is anchored from one of its ends to enjoy the benefits of the effect described further on.

WO 2010/064038 Al provides a clip without any anchoring means, nor any holding means inside of the clamping members .

And also GB 2037359 A, US 193003 A and US 9295317 Bl .

The following are references related to bag clips, made of a single piece of plastic cast in forms:

US 4385950 A shows a clip that is opened by pushing the latch inwards of the clip.

Also US 4656697 and WO 99/19223.

Other documents related with methods of encasing duvets are the followings:

FR 2888738 Al in which the duvet has got some laces in its corners and the cover has got openings therein. The laces are attached to the wall.

FR 2869784 Al and DE 2717905 C3 provide voluminous and expensive apparatuses.

For hanging towels or dish clothes on a wall, there are many open hooks, but very few alternatives:

A hanger for dish clothes that consists in a small round box having a rubber membrane with cuts. A corner of the dish cloth is embedded into the membrane by pushing it in with a finger. The hanger is attached to the wall with adhesive band. Design patent USD 549084 S shows a hook that clamps the piece of cloth down when hung therein.

OBJECTS OF INVENTION o A system for encasing a duvet which is inexpensive, easy to be used and manufactured, and that saves mental and physical efforts to the users,

o More profitable, including: securing bedclothes during sleep; hanging towels on the wall; and remaining useful as a bag clip

o A system adaptable to: direct sales to the final user; distribution through manufacturers of beds that may fit it into their bed models; or through big hotel companies that may adapt it to their specific needs.

o Finding the best combination of anchoring pieces to match all of the preceding objects and to be useful for all kinds of beds.

The present invention identifies the following facts and needs:

o In general, the clips or clamps provided till now are not easy enough to be used, are too voluminous, or are expensive to produce,

o Spring clips can be strong enough for securing a duvet, but then are harmful to the textile or to the users, due to the effort made while opening them. o Devices using an eccentric axe, take much of space and are more complicated to be used and manufactured.

o Solutions including laces that are sewed to the duvet, with corresponding holes in the cover, affects production and life span of the laces, o The best way of encasing a duvet is done by anchoring two of its corners in order to ease spreading of the duvet within the cover,

o It is desirable to include the option of attaching the anchoring means to the bed frame or wall by using adhesive bands, which is simple and fast, o Hotels need a light solution to diminish the stress of room staff when making the beds.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention provides a clothes anchoring system for bed and wall, an improved method of encasing a duvet, and an associated clothes hanger for walls. It may also be used with bags.

The system includes a clamping member or clip, some different and exchangeable anchoring means, and union means for releasably coupling the clip with the anchoring means.

About the Clip: The present invention provides the discovery of the following reinforcement effect in the behaviour of bag clips having a latch:

When those clips are clamping the corner of a duvet, the elongate and flexible members of the clip get deformed, enlarging the gap between them in the centre of the clip but remaining the same in both ends therein.

When a force is applied on the corner of the duvet, in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axe of the clip, the duvet shall slip towards the end of the clip. The parallel flaps which run along the clip, keep securing the duvet within the clip but allowing it to slip towards the end.

As the duvet goes slipping towards the end, the gap between both elongate members of the clip goes decreasing, thus increasing the securing force applied onto the duvet .

For easing duvet encasing, the present invention includes the use of this kind of clips in anchoring the corners of a duvet that are next to the head of the bed. The corner is clamped down with a clip, and the clip is temporarily anchored, or is already permanently attached, to a stable object or surface next to the head of the bed, mainly the bed frame or the wall (see Figs.5 and 6) .

If the clip is a removable clip, it has some means anchoring it preferably from the end having the latch, due to the following reasons: When a force is applied on the duvet towards the feet of the bed, the duvet shall slip within the clip towards the end where the hinge is, increasing the stress therein. If the stress was to grow next to the latch, it would turn clip opening more difficult.

And also, for clamping the corner of the duvet with the clip during the encasing process, it is more comfortable when the clip aperture is oriented towards the head of the bed.

If the clip is a fixed clip, it is permanently attached to said stable object or surface next to the head of the bed. It must be fixed oriented as if the clip was anchored only from the correct end of the clip, hence, in an inclining position or preferably in a horizontal position, for maintaining the cited reinforcement effect.

This kind of clips are inexpensive, light, small, very easy to manipulate and adjust quite well to different thicknesses of the bags, and in this case, of the pieces of clothing. These latch-clips 1 are comprising the following elements (see Figs.l and 2): o two elongate members 18, substantially straight and flexible, having parallel flaps 15 disposed longitudinally along of said elongate members, in a way that the parallel flaps of one of the members are interengageable with the parallel flaps of the other member, for securing therebetween a corner of a rectangular piece of clothing, like a duvet 3, duvet cover 2, sheet, blanket, bedspread, towel, dishcloth or cleaning cloth, and having two opposite ends each of said elongate members,

o a hinge 19 joining two of said ends, keeping said elongate members joined together, and

o a latch 20 in the ends opposite to those having the hinge, that can be opened or closed manually for keeping said ends joined together when closed, thus holding the clip closed, and keeping the elongate members separate from each other when opened, thus holding the clip opened. When the clip is including removable anchoring means (see Fig.6), the clip can have a latch that is opened by pushing it both inwards or outwards of the clip; but when it is a fixed clip (see Figs .5 and 32), it must be opened inwards to be comfortably manipulated; furthermore, the finger that pushes the flange to get the latch opened, keeps on opening the clip totally while the other hand holds the corner of a duvet or a towel . About the Method:

A method of encasing duvets is improved if the following steps are included:

o a corner of the cover 2, with the corner of the duvet 3 inside, is secured by clamping it across with a clip 1 having a latch 20, of the kind described throughout this document, that holds both corners together one inside the other (see Fig.l), o if said clip is a removable clip, the clip is anchored in an anchoring member that is attached to a stable object or surface next to the head of the bed, being this step unnecessary if said clip is a fixed clip which is already anchored in a stable way to said object or surface.

About the Union Means:

In order to achieve as much of the objects previously mentioned, the present invention provides the idea of a clip system in which the clip can be joined to different and exchangeable anchoring means. This brings the option of choosing among the existing solutions and also of creating new ones, thus, turning the clip and the system more useful and their manufactures more profitable.

Preferably, the clip includes at least one hole 10 in which a connecting pivot 9 can be housed, and the different anchoring means include at least one connecting pivot for coupling them with the clip, so that they are exchangeable to each other in respect to the clip. Said hole must be next to the end of the clip having the latch. It is convenient disposing a second hole next to the other end, so that the clip can be secured also through both ends (see Fig.8) . About the Anchoring Means :

For anchoring the clip, this document provides:

o a multiple hook to be joined to the clip directly, in Fig.9,

o five models of eyes or rings and a piece with a round neck for anchoring the hook therein, in Figs.4 and 15 to 23,

o five different designs of first anchoring bases, to be joined directly to the clip, hereon called First Bases, in Figs.24, 26, 28 and 30,

o four different designs of second anchoring bases, to receive first anchoring bases therein, hereon called Second Bases, in Figs.25, 27, 29 and 31.

Preferred Embodiments of the Invention:

This document provides its own design of a latch-clip that is opened by pushing the latch inwards and which is offering visual control of the closure; one design of the union means; and several designs of anchoring means.

Explanation of the Figures:

Fig .1 shows a latch-clip 1, having a hook, clamping a corner of a duvet to hold the cover of the duvet 2 and the filling of the duvet 3 inside therein. The clip has a hook 4 as anchoring means for attaching it to a bed frame or a wall, or to some stable furniture next to the head of the bed where the duvet is being encased. This clip is also useful for securing beddings during sleep.

Fig.2 shows a fixed clip 5 in vertical position and opened, that works similarly to the clip with a hook of Fig.l, but including permanent union means: a couple of holes 6 for fixing the clip with screws, and a flat and rigid surface 7 in which to add an adhesive band 8. These means are useful for permanently fixing the clip to a stable object or surface, like a wall, door, closet wall, bed frame, bed bolster, etc.

The clip comprises two elongate members 18 having parallel flaps 15, which are interengageable with the ones on the other elongate member; a hinge 19 joining both elongate members; and a releasable latch 20 for opening and closing the clip.

Fig.3 shows a piece having a round neck 14 in which a hook 4 or a multiple hook 32 can be anchored (see Figs.l and 9). It has a shape that, if the piece is cut across the circle of the round neck, the cut has a V shape pointing towards the neck for guiding the hook thereto in a very easy and fast way. For fixing it down, it may use adhesive band and/or a reinforcing screw hidden inside a lid 24, like in next pieces of Figs.17 and 19.

Fig.4 shows an eye piece 12 which includes an eye 13 or ring wherein a hook can be anchored. It has a hole 6 for housing a screw and an adhesive band 8 for fixing the piece to the wall, bed frame, or behind the bolster of the bed, thus hiding the plate and showing only the ring.

Fig.5 shows a bed 16 onto which a duvet 3 and a duvet cover 2 are spread, and held by a fixed clip 5. Performing the method of encasing duvets previously described, the duvet is partially fitted into the cover with its corner inside of the corner of the cover, and both of them secured with the clip of

Figs.7 and 8 equipped with two first bases 31 of

Fig.24, one on each end of the clip. The clip is attached with adhesive band, and maybe with reinforcing screws, to the bed frame in horizontal position, in the same way as in Fig.32 where this clip composition is a clothes hanger for walls. Here, the cover is slipped along the bed till the duvet is totally encased.

Fig.6 shows, similarly to Fig.5, a bed 16 and a latch- clip 1 having a removable hook 17 that is anchored in an eye 13, of the kind shown in Fig.23, which is screwed in the upholstered bed frame. It is quite a discreet solution. The eye or ring may also be fixed in the hidden part of the bed frame facing the wall, when the bed has got wheels, like in many hotel rooms. In this case, a long and flexible hook may be used, or the first base 31 shown in Fig.30. The neck piece of Fig.3 may replace the eye. Also a piece having a lace 25 may replace the eye when the hook is to be anchored on the wall, which does not depend on the bed model. Next figures 7 to 14 describe a preferred embodiment of the clips of Figs.l and 2:

Fig.7 shows a latch-clip that is opened by pushing the latch inwards of the clip. It has a hinge 19, two elongate members 18 and both parts of the latch 20.

Fig.8 shows in sectional view the elements that compose the clip of Fig.7:

The clip has two holes 10 for housing connecting pivots 9 therein, for using different anchoring means with the clip (see Figs .9 and 10) . The holes may be slightly cone shaped inwards of the clip and may have some cuts radial in respect to the centre of the hole, for the pivot to be plugged in more easily and unplugged a bit more hardly.

The clip can be attached directly onto a surface by using screws housed in holes 10 of the clip, provided that some spacing cylinders were added in the screws. In the clip, the latch 20 comprises the following items :

o A tooth part 37 integrally joined to a tooth supporting part 21 and through this, to one of the elongate members 18.

o A flexible V-shaped plate 38, wherein a section across the plane of the plate shows a V shape, joined to the other elongate member 18, being said tooth and support parts in a position further from the centre of the clip than the V-shape plate, o A hole 40 in the V-shape plate for fitting the tooth therein.

o And a flange part 26 that can be pushed with a finger inwards of the clip in order to open the clip totally at once.

While closing the clip, the V-shape plate 38 shrinks, allowing the plate to descend in front of the tooth 37. When descended enough, the plate recovers its original shape when the tooth enters the hole 40 in the centre of the plate (see also Fig.12), thus getting the clip locked.

It is advisable to dispose a backing stop 41 to prevent the V-shape plate from moving backwards at its lower portion; it may be just the end of the parallel flaps 15 therein.

This latch provides visual control of the effective closing of the clip, specially when used as a clothes hanger that is safer than others, for example as a towel or dishcloth hanger in a hospital or restaurant. As the distinctive advantage of this clip is providing a hanger that can hold pieces of clothing in a more stable way than others, said visual control of the closure is a key feature of this clip, in addition to the easiness of its manipulation previously explained. The tooth may be tinted in red colour.

Fig.9 shows in sectional view a multiple hook 32 that has a connecting pivot 9 having a spacing cylinder 11 for stabilizing the union, and a stick 22 having two or more in-line hooks 4 along therein. It is useful for adjusting the length of the anchored hook in order to match different sizes of beddings. It can be of course a single hook as well.

Fig.10 shows in sectional view a first base 31 that is a flat plate having two connecting pivots 9 and two spacing cylinders 11. It can be fixed onto a surface with adhesive band, maybe reinforced with screws housed in holes 6 therein.

The spacing cylinders 11 keep the clip slightly distant from the anchoring means, for the clip to have space enough to get deformed when it is clamping a thick piece of clothing (see also Fig.24) .

Fig.11 shows a sectional view of the clip of Fig.7. In one of the elongate members 18, two of the parallel flaps 15 are flexible flaps 34 that get closer to each other when a thick piece of clothing is clamped in the clip, thus providing more space to the piece therein. A thickness of 1mm is advised for the flexible flaps, and 1,5mm for the rest of parts.

Fig.12 shows a view of the latch part from outside, at the end of the clip. The tooth 37 is integrally joined to the tooth support 21, and the V-shape plate 38 has a hole 40 for the tooth and a flange 26 portion. A couple of gear flaps 33 are guiding the tooth towards the hole.

Fig.13 shows the latch part of the clip of Figs .7 where the V-shape plate 38 has a hole 40 for the tooth 37, and a flange part 26 to be pushed inwards of the clip to be opened.

Fig.14 shows basically the same latch of Fig.13, but having a different design of the flange 26.

Next figures 15 to 23 describe several anchoring pieces for receiving a hook, like the one in Fig. : Fig.15 shows a piece with a lace 25 having a removable lid 24 in place used for hiding a screw therein.

Fig.16 shows the lace piece 25 with the lid removed, showing the hole 6 for receiving a screw therein. Fig.17 shows a side view of the lace piece 25 attached to a wall, with the lid 24 removed. The lace is projecting outwards from the wall in order to ease anchoring of the hook therein.

Fig.18 shows a plate with an eye 13, or ring, surrounded by a removable lid 24. Fig.19 shows a sectional view of cut D of Fig.18. The plate, with the eye 13, is attached to the wall with adhesive band 8 and has got holes 6 for housing a couple of reinforcing screws 8, that are hidden by the lid 24.

Fig.20 shows the eye 13 projecting from the lid 24.

Fig.21 shows a ring 28 that is supported by four connectors 29, joining it to a central part that has a hole 6 to receive a screw therein.

Fig.22 shows a sectional view of cut E of Fig.21. The ring 28 is supported by the connectors 29, and the central part has got a hole 6 for attaching the piece to a wall with a screw.

Fig.23 shows an eye 13 with screw that has a small round base 30 which may hide the wad in the wall or may accommodate the eye in an upholstered bed frame. Fig.24 shows in side view, a first base 31 for the clip, similar to the one in Fig.10, which includes a substantially flat and preferably round plate. It has a connecting pivot 9 for joining it to a clip. The pivot has an enlargement part 51 in its free end for engaging it into a hole 10 of the clip, and has a base part 52 in its other end integrally joined to the plate. A spacing cylinder 11 is integrally formed in the base part of the pivot 9, both with their common axe at right angle of the plate, and the plate including anchoring means on its other side, like a hook&loop band 53 or an adhesive band 8.

Fig.25 shows a second base 42 that is a substantially flat and elongate plate or strip, having hook&loop band 53 all over its outer face. This base is meant to be attached to a bed frame in vertical position. A first base 31 like the one in Fig.24, having a connecting pivot 9 for permanently receiving a clip therein, and hook&loop band 53 on its back side, is anchored within the second base in a higher or lower position depending on the size of the bedclothes. The second base may have holes 6 for attaching it to the bed frame with screws if an adhesive band was not enough. An upholstered bed frame may include the hook&loop strip integrally sewed within the upholstery. Fig.26 shows in side view, a first base 31 similar to the one in Fig.24 which, instead of adhesive band, is including a connecting bolt 35 an a retainer 36. Fig.27 shows a second base 42 similar to the one in

Fig.25 but, instead of adhesive band, it has a second plate 43 with a series of indentations 44 in which the bolt 35 of the first base 31 of Fig.26 can be fitted in sideways.

Fig.28 shows in side view, a first base 31 similar to the one in Fig.24 but in which the adhesive band is a magnet 39. Fig.29 shows a second base 42 similar to the one in

Fig.25 but, instead of adhesive band, it has a metal plate with a series of circular recesses 45 in which the magnet of the first base 31 of Fig.28 can be fitted in.

Fig.30 shows a first base 31 which includes a plate having a connecting pivot 9, a cord 49, a couple of holes 46 for holding the cord, a cord fastener 48 for adjusting the length of the cord, and a C-shape part 47 of the plate for housing the fastener therein. The cord is to be anchored in the neck piece of Fig.3.

Fig.31 shows a second base 42 having adhesive hook&loop band all over its front face and a plate for mattress 50 integrally joined at right angle to an end of the elongate second base, and is useful for sliding it under a mattress. It can be slid oriented upwards or downwards, as it suits better to the size of the bedding to be secured therein with a clip having a first base 31, like the one shown in Fig.24, that can be anchored in an upper or lower position thereby. This arrangement is useful for holding beddings during sleep, by orienting the clip in the right direction to keep the cited reinforcement effect working.

Fig.32 shows a wall hanger for towels or dish clothes 27, that is composed of a fixed clip 5, like the clip of Fig.7, and two first bases 31 of Fig.24, attached to the wall in horizontal position. The clip is opened by pushing inwards the latch 20 with a finger 23. The towel does not need having any lace, and is secured more tightly than with the cited rubber hangers, being held and released very quickly. The tooth in the clip gives visual control that the towel has been safely secured.

Summary of Uses: For holding duvets, sheets with blankets, or big towels a length of approximately 18 to 20cm is advised, and for small towels or dish clothes a length of around 12cm. In places with specially big bedding thickness variations, a winter and a summer clips may

When a bed frame has a solid surface, the anchoring pieces can be fixed with removable adhesive bands, now very common in the market, that are easily removed without leaving any trace . When the bed frame is upholstered, a reinforcing screw may be added in them.

The anchoring means can be used in the wall next to the bed head or in the bed bolster. Anchoring the clips in higher positions makes it more comfortable, and easier for the duvet to be slipped inside of the cover. The lower positions are good for hiding the fixed pieces from view, _.between the bed and the side table .

In beds having wheels, the anchoring pieces can be fixed in the part of the frame facing the wall, thus remaining totally hidden. This is the case of many Hotels, where the room staff can carry a couple of clips in their pockets . The pieces with a round neck of Fig.3 can be fixed in that hidden position and the clip can be equipped with the cord of Fig.30, or a ring and a long flexible hook may be used.

The system may be installed in a bed having enough space around, and the duvets therein encased may be taken to another beds . In kitchens, bathrooms or closets, the clothes hanger may be used for firmly holding towels, dish clothes, or bags in the wall or door.

Other configurations may be possible:

The system may work with a different clip but including the same union and anchoring means.

The connecting pivot used between the clip and the anchoring means could be alternatively a screw, a rivet or even a fixed welding, as the detachable pivot may not be indispensable in a separate specific use.

Within this invention, the anchoring means could be another, chosen from those existing in the state of the art or creating new ones .

Claims

CLAIM 1. An anchoring system for clothes or bags that comprises :

o a clamping member or clip (1) for securing a corner of a substantially rectangular piece of clothing, like a duvet (3), duvet cover (2), sheet, blanket, bedspread, towel, dishcloth or cleaning cloth, o anchoring means removably anchored or permanently attached to a stable object or surface, like a wall or a bed frame, and

o union means for releasably coupling said clip with said anchoring means,

and characterised in that said clip is a clip (1) having a latch (20) , of a kind commonly used for closing bags, that comprises the following elements: o two elongate members (18), substantially straight and flexible, having parallel flaps (15) disposed longitudinally along of said elongate members, in a way that the parallel flaps of one of the members are interengageable with the parallel flaps of the other member, for securing therebetween said corner of a piece of clothing, and having two opposite ends each of said elongate members,

o a hinge (19) joining two of said ends, so as to keep said elongate members joined together, and

o a latch (20) in the ends opposite to those having the hinge, that can be opened or closed manually for keeping said ends joined together when closed, thus holding the clip closed, and keeping the elongate members separate from each other when opened, thus holding the clip opened,

being the clip anchored substantially from at least one of its ends by said union means and anchoring means,

whereby said system is useful for encasing duvets, and/or securing bedclothes during sleep, and/or hanging pieces of clothing or bags in a wall, and/or closing bags.

CLAIM 2. A system as in claim 1, characterised in that said latch (20) of the clip comprises:

o a tooth part (37) integrally joined to a tooth supporting part (21) and, through this, to one of the elongate members (18),

o a flexible V-shape plate (38) , wherein a section across the plane of the plate shows a V shape, joined to the other elongate member (18),

o a hole (40) in the V-shape plate for fitting the tooth therein,

o and a flange part (26) integrally joined to the V- shape plate,

being said tooth and supporting parts in a position further from the centre of the clip than the V-shape plate, and

whereby this latch provides visual control of the effective closing of the clip, specially when used as a clothes hanger safer than others, and furthermore, the finger (23) that pushes the flange to get the latch opened, keeps on opening the clip totally while the other hand holds the corner of a duvet or a dish cloth.

CLAIM 3. A system as in claim 1, characterised in that said union means are including:

o at least one hole (10) in the clip, in which a connecting pivot can be housed, and

o at least one connecting pivot (9) in every of the different anchoring means,

having said pivot an integrally formed enlargement part (51) in its free end, to be engaged into the holes (10) of the clip, and an integrally formed base part (52) on its other end, to be integrally joined therein with the anchoring means,

whereby the different anchoring means are exchangeable to each other in respect to the clip, hence, providing the option of choosing among the existing anchoring means and also of creating new ones, thus, turning the clip and the system more useful and their manufactures more profitable.

CLAIM 4. A system as in claim 1, characterised in that said anchoring means include a hook (32) comprising a stick (22) that has at least one hook (4) therein.

CLAIM 5. A system as in claim 4, characterised in that said anchoring means include a multiple in-line hook (32) comprising a stick (22) that has two or more in line hooks (4) along therein,

whereby it is useful for adjusting the length of the anchored hook in order to match different sizes of beddings .

CLAIM 6. A system as in claim 1, characterised in that said anchoring means include a piece having a round neck (14), in which a hook (4) or a multiple hook (32) can be anchored, and having a shape that, if the piece is cut across the circle of the round neck, the cut has a V shape pointing towards the neck for guiding the hook thereto in a very easy and fast way.

CLAIM 7. A system as in claim 1, characterised in that said anchoring means include a first anchoring base (31) that is a substantially flat plate including said union means in one of its faces and said anchoring means on the other of said faces, like adhesive band (8), holes (6) for screws, hook&loop band (53), a connecting bolt (35), a magnet (39) or any similar anchoring means.

CLAIM 8. A system as in claim 7, characterised in that said anchoring means include a second anchoring base (42) that is an elongate and substantially flat plate or strip including anchoring means in one of its faces, for releasably anchoring said first anchoring base therein, like hook&loop band (53) , indentations (44), circular recesses (45), or any similar anchoring means, and including other anchoring means on the other of said faces, like an adhesive band (8), holes (6) for screws, or any similar anchoring means, for permanently attaching the second anchoring base (42) to said stable object or surface.

CLAIM 9. A system as in claim 8, characterised in that said elongate second anchoring base (42) has adhesive hook&loop band all over its front face and a plate for mattress (50) integrally joined at right angle to one of its ends,

whereby it is useful for sliding it under a mattress, oriented upwards or downwards, and releasably anchor a clip, equipped with a first anchoring base, in an upper or lower position therein, as it suits better to the size of the bedding to be secured therein during sleep .

CLAIM 10. A clip (1) having a latch (20), of a kind commonly used for closing bags, that comprises the following elements:

o two elongate members (18), substantially straight and flexible, having parallel flaps (15) disposed longitudinally along of said elongate members, in a way that the parallel flaps of one of the members are interengageable with the parallel flaps of the other member, for securing therebetween said corner of a piece of clothing, and having two opposite ends each of said elongate members,

and characterised in that said latch (20) comprises: o a tooth part (37) integrally joined to a tooth supporting part (21) and, through this, to one of the elongate members (18),

o a flexible V-shape plate (38), wherein a section across the plane of the plate shows a V shape, joined to the other elongate member (18),

o a hole (40) in the V-shape plate for fitting the tooth therein,

o and a flange part (26) integrally joined to the V- shape plate,

CLAIM 11. A clip as in claim 10, characterised in comprising at least one hole (10) in one of said elongate members (18), being said hole substantially next to the latch (20) of the clip,

whereby the clip can be anchored from said hole by fitting union means therein, like screws, connecting pivots (9), rivets or solid welding.

CLAIM 12. Method of encasing a duvet within a duvet cover characterised in comprising the following steps: o a corner of the cover (2) , with the corner of the duvet (3) inside, is secured by clamping it across with a clip (1) having a latch (20), being said clip as described in any of the preceding claims 1 to 3, that holds both corners together one inside the other,

o if said clip is a removable clip (1), the clip is anchored in an anchoring member that is attached to a stable object or surface next to the head of the bed (16) , being this step unnecessary if said clip is a fixed clip (5) which is already anchored in a stable way to said object or surface.
