  • the low content of POO-triglycerides in the obtained palm oil mid fraction and the relatively high content of POP -triglycerides in the stearin fraction is a measure of a high quality product.
  • the 3-MCPD level was measured on the full scale experiment.
  • the level of 3-MCPD in both the Stearin and Olein fraction was very low as can be seen in Table 2. The person skilled in the art will know that it is particularly difficult to keep the level of 3-MCPD low in the olein fraction because of migration.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fractionnement à sec d'une oléine d'huile de palme (POON), le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à utiliser de l'oléine d'huile de palme (POON) sous la forme d'oléine d'huile de palme fondue (MPO), à refroidir l'oléine d'huile de palme fondue (MPO) pour obtenir une oléine d'huile de palme sursaturée (SSPO), à soumettre au moins une partie de l'oléine d'huile de palme sursaturée (SSPO) à un traitement par ultrasons, à faire cristalliser, dans un cristalliseur (CRS), l'oléine d'huile de palme sursaturée (SSPO) ayant été soumise aux ultrasons pour obtenir une suspension d'oléine d'huile de palme (POS), à séparer la suspension d'oléine d'huile de palme (POS) pour obtenir une fraction intermédiaire d'huile de palme (PMF) et une fraction de super oléine (SOF). L'invention concerne également un système de fractionnement (FRS) et une fraction intermédiaire d'huile de palme (PMF) non débarrassée de sa partie supérieure et fractionnée à sec.
