Abstract
Description
図1は、本発明の第一実施形態における運転支援システム10の構成を示すブロック図である。
第一実施形態の運転支援システム10は、図1に示すように、自車両の前方状況を検出し、この前方状況に基づいて、自車両の運転支援を解除させるかを判定する運転支援判定部11と、運転支援判定部11の判定に基づいて自車両の運転支援を解除させる運転支援部12と、運転支援部12が運転支援を解除する際、事前に運転支援の解除を予告する予告画像110および運転支援の項目の解除の完了または解除動作の完了を報知する完了画像210を表示する第一表示部(表示装置)15と、自車両の運転者Eの動作を検出する動作検出部13と、を備える。
図2(a)に示される予告画像110は、運転支援判定部11が所定の運転支援の解除をすることを判定したことを契機に、所定の運転支援がこれから解除されることを知らせるために第一表示部15に表示される画像であり、例えば、「You have control」などのテキスト画像である。運転者Eは、この予告画像110を視認することで、事前に運転支援の解除を認識し、運転支援の解錠に必要な所定の解除動作を実行することが可能となる。運転支援部12は、動作検出部13から運転者Eによる前記解除動作を検出した場合、対象となる運転支援を解除し、そして、第一表示部15は、図2(b)に示されるように、完了画像210を第一表示部15に表示する。完了画像210は、運転支援の解除完了を知らせるものであり、例えば、「Under Control」などのテキスト画像である。運転者Eは、この完了画像210を視認することで、運転支援が解除されたタイミングを認識することができる。さらに、第一表示部15は、完了画像210を表示した後、図2(c)に示すように、運転支援の解除を知らせる完了画像210より小さい縮小完了画像210aを表示する。これにより、運転者Eは、運転支援が解除されているかを確認することができる。
図3(a)に示される予告画像120は、運転支援判定部11が特定の運転支援の項目の運転支援を解除することを判定したことを契機に、どの運転支援の項目の運転支援がこれから解除されるかを知らせるために第一表示部15に表示される画像であり、例えば、「ハンドル操作 手動に切り替えます」などの解除される運転支援の項目(ハンドル操作)を具体的に知らせるテキスト画像である。運転者Eは、この予告画像120を視認することで、事前にどの運転支援の項目の運転支援が解除されるか認識し、運転支援の解錠に必要な所定の解除動作を実行することが可能となる。運転支援部12は、動作検出部13から運転者Eによる前記解除動作を検出した場合、対象となる運転支援を解除し、そして、第一表示部15は、図3(b)に示されるように、完了画像220を第一表示部15に表示する。完了画像220は、解除を完了した運転支援の項目を知らせるものであり、例えば、「ハンドル操作 手動切り替え完了」などのテキスト画像である。運転者Eは、この完了画像210を視認することで、具体的に解除された運転支援の項目および運転支援が解除されたタイミングを認識することができる。
図4は、運転支援を解除するタイミングをより正確に運転者Eに知らせるための途中画像310を表示する例である。運転者Eは、図4(a)に示される予告画像120を視認することで、事前にどの運転支援の項目の運転支援が解除されるか認識し、運転支援の解錠に必要な所定の解除動作(ハンドルの把持)を実行することが可能となる。第一表示部15は、動作検出部13から運転者Eによる前記解除動作を検出した場合、図4(b),(c)に示されるような、運転支援解除までの時間を推測可能な途中画像310を表示する。途中画像310は、例えば、動作検出部13が前記解除動作を検出してからの経過時間や動作検出部13が検出する前記解除動作の継続時間に基づき、時間推移するバーグラフなどの画像である。運転者Eは、この途中画像310を視認することで、運転支援が解除されたタイミングをより正確に認識することができる。
図5は、予告画像130が、運転支援を解除するための解除動作を表示する例である。
図5(a)に示される予告画像120は、運転支援判定部11が特定の運転支援の項目の運転支援を解除することを判定したことを契機に、どの運転支援の項目の運転支援がこれから解除されるかを知らせる。その後、第一表示部15は、図5(b)に示されるように、運転支援を解除するための具体的な解除動作を示す予告画像130を表示する。運転支援の項目を解除するための解除動作が2種以上である場合、図5(b)に示されるように、並列に同時に表示してもよく、1種ずつ順番に表示してもよい。運転者Eは、この具体的な解除動作を示す予告画像130を視認することで、運転支援を解除するための具体的に必要な動作を認識し、運転支援の解錠に必要な所定の解除動作を確実に実行することが可能となる。運転支援部12は、動作検出部13から運転者Eによる前記解除動作を検出した場合、検出した解除動作を示す予告画像130を、解除動作が完了したことを示す完了画像220に切り替える。このように、運転支援の項目を解除するための2種以上の解除動作を具体的に示す予告画像130を並列して表示しておき、完了した解除動作を示す予告画像130を解除動作が完了したことを示す完了画像220に切り替えることで、複数ある解除動作の完了/未完了を迅速に運転者Eに認識させることができる。
図6の表示例では、第一表示部15は、優先順位が高い解除動作を示す予告画像130を、図6(b)に示すように、先に表示し、優先順位が高い解除動作が完了した後、優先順位が低い解除動作を示す予告画像130を、図6(c)に示すように、後に表示する。
また、図7の表示例では、第一表示部15は、図7(b)に示すように、優先順位が高い解除動作を示す予告画像130aを、視認性(輝度)が高くなるように表示し、優先順位が低い解除動作を示す予告画像130bを、視認性(輝度)が低くなるように表示する。
また、図8の表示例では、第一表示部15は、図8(b)に示すように、優先順位が高い解除動作を示す予告画像130cを、視認性が高くなるように大きく表示し、優先順位が低い解除動作を示す予告画像130dを、視認性が低くなるように小さく表示する。この他にも予告画像130の視認性を異ならせる方法としては、表示色を異ならせる方法があり、視認性(認識性)を高くするものを赤色などの暖色で表示し、視認性(認識性)を低くするものを青色などの寒色で表示してもよい。
図9は、本発明の第二実施形態の運転支援システム20のブロック図である。第一実施形態では、事前に運転支援の解除を予告する予告画像110,120,130と運転支援の解除の完了又は解除動作の完了を報知する完了画像210,220とを共通の第一表示部15に表示していたのに対し、第二実施形態の運転支援システム20は、第一表示部25が予告画像110,120,130を表示する予告表示部25aとしての機能を有し、第一表示部25とは異なる第二表示部26が完了画像210,220を表示する完了表示部26bとしての機能を有する点で異なる。この点以外は、第一実施形態と同じ構成であり、同じ符号を付して詳細な説明は省略する。
以上、本発明の実施形態について説明したが、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、本発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲において、様々な態様にて実施することが可能である。
Claims (13)
- 自車両の前方状況を検出し、前記前方状況に基づいて、前記自車両の運転支援を解除させるかを判定する運転支援判定部(11)と、
前記運転支援判定部の判定に基づいて前記自車両の前記運転支援を解除させる運転支援部(12)と、
前記運転支援部が前記運転支援を解除する際、事前に前記運転支援の解除を予告する予告画像(110,120,130)を表示する予告表示部(15a,25a)と、
前記自車両の運転者の動作を検出する動作検出部(13)と、を備え、
前記運転支援部(12)は、前記動作検出部(13)が検出する前記動作が、前記運転支援を解除するために必要とされる解除動作であった場合、前記自車両の前記運転支援を解除し、
前記運転支援の解除の完了又は前記解除動作の完了を報知する完了画像(210,220)を表示する完了表示部(15b,26b)を備える、
ことを特徴とする運転支援システム。 - 前記運転支援部(12)は、2種以上の前記運転支援の項目に基づき、前記自車両の前記運転支援を行い、
前記運転支援判定部(11)は、前記前方状況に基づいて、解除する前記運転支援の項目を選択する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運転支援システム。 - 前記運転支援判定部(11)は、前記前方状況に基づいて、解除する前記自車両の前記運転支援の項目を複数選択可能であり、
前記予告表示部(15a,25a)は、第一の運転支援の項目に関する第一の予告画像(110,120,130)と、前記第一の予告画像(110,120,130)より視認性が低い第二の運転支援の項目に関する第二の予告画像(110,120,130)と、を表示する、
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の運転支援システム。 - 前記予告画像(130)は、前記運転支援を解除するための前記解除動作を示す画像からなる、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の運転支援システム。 - 前記完了表示部(15b,26b)は、前記動作検出部(13)が検出する前記動作が前記解除動作であった場合、前記予告画像(110,120,130)が表示されていた表示領域に前記完了画像(210,220)を表示する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の運転支援システム。 - 前記運転支援の解除に必要となる前記解除動作は、複数の解除動作からなる、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の運転支援システム。 - 前記動作検出部(13)は、前記運転者の視線方向を検出する視線検出部を含み、
前記複数の解除動作は、前記視線検出部が検出した前記運転者の視線が前記予告画像(110,120,130)に向いたことを条件とする、
ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の運転支援システム。 - 前記予告画像(110,120,130)は、少なくとも前記自車両の所定の位置からの距離または前記自車両の走行距離または時間経過のいずれかに基づいて、表示態様が変化する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の運転支援システム。 - 解除される自車両の運転支援に関する情報を取得する運転支援情報取得部(15c)と、
前記運転支援情報取得部が取得した情報に基づき、事前に前記運転支援の解除を予告する予告画像(110,120,130)を表示する予告表示部(15a)と、
前記運転支援を解除するために必要とされる解除動作の検出または/および前記運転支援の解除の完了に関する情報を取得する完了情報取得部(15c)と、
前記完了情報取得部が取得した情報に基づき、前記運転支援の解除の完了又は前記解除動作の完了を報知する完了画像(210,220)を表示する完了表示部(15b)と、を備える、
ことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記予告画像(130)は、前記運転支援を解除するための前記解除動作を示す画像からなる、
