前記第一編地部の第m番目の編成コースが前記一方の針床に係止され、前記第二編地部の第n番目の編成コースが前記他方の針床に係止された状態とする工程と、
前記第m番目の編成コースの編目を前記他方の針床に移動させると共に、前記第n番目の編成コースの編目を前記一方の針床に移動させ、前記第n番目の編成コースの各編目を前記第m番目の編成コースの編目の間に通過させた状態で、前記第一編地部と前記第二編地部の前後の位置を入れ替える工程と、
前記第n番目の編成コースを解れ止め処理する、または前記第n番目の編成コースのウエール方向に続けて数段の編成コースを編成してから解れ止め処理する工程と、
前記第m番目の編成コースに続く複数段の編成コースを編成する工程と、を備える編地の接合方法。
