Definitions
- the present invention relates to a cosmetic brush, and more particularly to a cosmetic brush having a brush portion formed by sandwiching a plurality of bristles between core wires and twisting the core wires together.
- the brush unit 10 of this type of cosmetic brush 1 uses the core wire 3 with a circular cross section, and the bristles 5 between the two core wires 3
- the bristles 5 are randomly spread in the axial direction P of the brush portion from the twisting portion 4 of the core wire 3 by pinching the central portion of the bristles 5 by twisting the central portion of the bristles 5 It is generally dispersed in a spiral shape continuously along the twisting portion 4 and is generally formed in a cylindrical shape.
- FIG. 8C which is a simplified view, among the bristles 5 dispersed in a spiral shape from the twisting portion 4, a description of one extending in the front direction of the drawing is omitted.
- a cosmetic brush in which bristles are randomly spread in the axial direction of the brush portion to thin the bristles in the axial direction of the brush portion.
- a core wire having a circular cross section is used, and at the time of forming a cosmetic brush, one end of the bristles is pinched and twisted instead of the central portion of the bristles, and bristles are extended every other from the twisted portion of the core wire. Therefore, the clearance of the bristles is provided in the brush portion axial direction P.
- a coil spring-like component is fitted as a post-process to a general cosmetic brush formed using a core wire having a circular cross section as described above, and the extension direction of bristles is changed by the component. There is a clearance of bristles in the axial direction of the brush portion.
- the bristles appear only every other one from the twisted portion of the core wire, so the bristle amount of the bristles decreases and the bristles in the axial direction of the brush portion are too open As a result, the amount of the coating solution held here is large, which may cause damage to the eyelashes.
- the cosmetic brush of Patent Document 2 requires a dedicated part, so the number of components of the brush and the number of operation steps increase.
- the present invention has been made based on the above-mentioned problems of the prior art, and is suitable for cosmetic applications in which a bristle gap is provided in the axial direction of the brush portion, with an appropriate amount of holding of the coating solution and without requiring dedicated parts. It provides a brush.
- the deformed shape of the brush portion formed by sandwiching a large number of bristles between deformed core wires having a non-circular cross section and twisting the deformed core wires.
- the bristles are bifurcated and extend from the twisted portion of the core wire in the axial direction of the brush portion.
- the brush portion includes a bristle extending from one twisting portion of the twisting portion of the deformed core adjacent in the axial direction of the brush portion toward the other twisting portion and a twisting portion of the other twisting portion. It is characterized in that the bristles extending in the direction of one of the twisting parts are configured to be in contact with each other.
- the cosmetic brush according to the present invention is a brush portion formed by sandwiching a large number of bristles between core wires and twisting the core wires together, wherein the core wire uses a non-circular deformed core wire in cross section. It is characterized in that a pitch at which the twisting portion of the irregular shaped core wire appears is wider than a pitch of the twisting portion of the round core wire having the same diameter or the same cross-sectional area as the irregular shape core wire.
- the bristles extending from the twisted portion of the non-circular core are bifurcated and extend in the axial direction of the brush portion.
- the space between the bifurcated bristles is a clearance of the bristles, the clearance of the bristles can be provided in the axial direction of the brush portion.
- the bristles of the bristles of the cosmetic brush of the present invention are equivalent to those of the prior art because the bristles extend from all points along the spiral of the twisted portion of the irregular core wire in the radial direction of the brush portion. Further, the cosmetic brush of the present invention does not require a dedicated part or the like for providing a clearance of the bristles, and it is sufficient to adopt the irregular core wire and carry out the same manufacturing process as the conventional cosmetic brush. The number of brushes and the number of working steps are the same as in the prior art.
- the coating liquid when using the cosmetic brush of the present invention, when applying a coating liquid such as mascara to the eyelashes, the coating liquid is applied in a state where the eyelashes are concentrated in the bristle gaps appearing at regular intervals in the axial direction of the brush portion. So you can have a bunch of eyelashes. Furthermore, by moving the cosmetic brush from the base of the eyebrow to the tip of the hair, the bristles function as a comb as it is, so long eyebrows can be maintained with a sense of bundle up to the tip of the hair.
- a coating liquid such as mascara
- the bristles are bifurcated, the bristles extending in the direction of the other twisted portion from the twisted portion of one of the twisted portions of the deformed core wire adjacent in the axial direction of the brush portion and the twisted portion of the other A bristle extending in the direction of one of the twisting parts can be configured to be in contact.
- the contact area of the bristles is often tangled with the eyebrows so that the application of the details to the eyebrows can be performed.
- twisting of the core wire is better than in the case where the brush portion is formed using a cross section circular core wire having the same diameter or the same cross sectional area as the non-uniform core wire used.
- the part is inclined, and the pitch in the axial direction of the brush part of the twisted part of the core wire is increased.
- the bristles dispersed from the twisted portion of the irregular shaped core wire are more easily dispersed in the axial direction of the brush portion than that of the core wire having a circular cross section under the above condition.
- the liquid reservoir space of the brush portion is expanded by this amount, and the brush portion using the irregular core wire is better in containing the liquid than the brush portion formed of the core wire having a circular cross section under the above conditions.
- FIG. 1 is a side view of a cosmetic brush according to a first embodiment of the present invention
- FIG. 2 is a view for explaining a method of producing the cosmetic brush
- FIG. 3 (a) is a part of the side of the cosmetic brush 3
- FIG. 3 (c) is a simplified view of FIG. 3a.
- the cosmetic brush 1 of the first embodiment has a cap 2 that can be screwed to the mouth of a cosmetic container (not shown) and a brush portion 10 fixed to the cap 2.
- a cylindrical flexible member (wiper) is provided on the inner periphery of the mouth portion of the cosmetic container, and when the brush portion 10 is removed from the container, a coating liquid such as mascara excessively attached to the brush portion 10 It is designed to remove twelve.
- the cosmetic brush 1 vertically passes a large number of bristles 5 between two irregularly shaped core wires 3i and 3i in the same manner as in the prior art, sandwiching the central portion of the bristles 5 and in any one direction. It is formed by twisting.
- the two irregular core wires 3i are formed by folding one irregular core wire 3i into two, it may be configured to use two irregular core wires 3i. Details of the irregular shaped core wire 3i will be described later.
- the cosmetic brush 1 has the form of the bristles 5 as shown in FIGS. 3 (a) to 3 (c). That is, the bristles 5 are bifurcated in the axial direction P of the brush portion from the twisted portion 4 of the irregular shaped core wires 3i and 3i (that is, in the vertical direction in the drawing) and extend in the radial direction R of the brush portion. (See especially Fig. 3 (a). Note that Fig. 3 (a) shows a bristle extending from the twisting portion 4 at a position other than the position shown). The description of 5 is omitted).
- the bristles 5 and 5 which are split into two branches form the clearance 6 of the bristles, and the cosmetic brush 1 has the clearance 6 of the bristles at a position corresponding to the twisting portion 4 in the brush portion axial direction P,
- the ridges 7 of the bristles appear at a constant pitch between the twisting portions 4 and 4 (see particularly FIG. 3 (c).
- FIG. 3 (c) which is a simplified view shows a spiral from the twisting portion 4).
- the bristles 5 dispersed in (5) those which extend in the forward direction of the drawing are omitted from the description).
- FIG. 4 is a conceptual view for explaining the appearance of the bristles 5 of the cosmetic brush 1.
- the cosmetic brush 1 adopts the irregular core wire 3i as the core material, and the bristles 5 held therebetween are extended from the irregular core wire 3i by receiving a predetermined restraining force, and therefore are considered to be bifurcated. . Since the deformed core 3i has "surfaces" in the circumferential direction, when the deformed cores 3i and 3i are twisted together, the "surface” of the deformed core 3i appears in the twisting portion 4.
- the bristles 5 contact the surface of the deformed core wire 3i and extend, so that the extending direction is determined according to the contact surface (if the core wire 3 is circular, such a surface does not exist, Randomly out).
- the bristles 5 subjected to the restraint force of the deformed core wire 3iB located below are directed to contact the twisting surface 3ib and extend upward, and are positioned upward.
- the bristles 5 subjected to the constraining force of the irregular core wire 3iA are directed to abut on the twisting surface 3ia and to extend downward. This state continues in a spiral along the twisting portion 4 so that the cosmetic brush 1 of the irregular core wire 3i has the bristles 5 bifurcated in the brush portion axial direction P from the twisting portion 4.
- FIG. 5 is an example of a modified core wire.
- the irregular core 3i has a cross section with a square, parallelogram, rectangle, rhombus, trapezoid or other rectangular shape, or a triangle, pentagon, hexagon or other non-circular cross section, that is, twisted It means that the cross-sectional shape is such that a surface appears in the part 4. Therefore, FIG. 7 is an example of the deformed core wire 3i, and includes various modifications such as a rounded shape of a corner of the illustrated shape and a curved shape of a part of the side.
- the irregular core wire 3i has a cross-section that is far from a circle. In consideration of the convenience of the brush manufacturing process, it is preferable to use a rectangular cross section.
- FIG. 6 is a view for explaining the use of the cosmetic brush 1.
- the coating solution 12 is held in the gaps 5 between the bristles 5 and the bristles (shown by broken lines). If the cosmetic brush 1 is held horizontally and applied to the eyelashes 11 as it is, the cosmetic brush 1 has the bristle gaps 6 at regular intervals, so the coating liquid 12 is applied in a state where a plurality of eyelashes 11 are collected. So, you can make eyebrows 11 with a sense of bundle. Furthermore, by moving the cosmetic brush 1 from the root of the eyelashes 11 in the direction of the hair tips, the bristles 7 of the bristles function as a comb, so that long eyelashes 11 maintaining a sense of bundle up to the hair tips can be made.
- the liquid accumulation space of the cosmetic brush 1 is mainly the part adhering to each of the bristles 5 and the gap 6 of the bristles split into two, so that the cosmetic brush 1 of this embodiment
- the holding amount of the coating liquid 12 is larger than that of the conventional cosmetic brush shown in FIG.
- the cosmetic brush 1 of this embodiment since the bristles 5 are bifurcated, the irregular core wire 3i is not exposed, and the coating solution 12 remains around the irregular core wire 3i, and the coating solution 12 is excessively coated. There are also few problems such as becoming lumps and solidifying the coating solution 12 remaining on the irregular core wire 3i with time and becoming dust.
- FIG. 7A is a simplified view of a side surface of a cosmetic brush according to a second embodiment of the present invention
- FIG. 7B is a cross-sectional view of FIG. 7A.
- the contact portion 8 of the bristles forms the length of the bristles 5 sandwiched between the irregular shaped core wires 3i and 3i while using the irregular shaped core wire 3i as in the first embodiment. It is designed to have a predetermined length.
- the same components as in the first embodiment will be assigned the same reference numerals and explanations thereof will be omitted.
- the simplified view of FIG. 7A among the bristles 5 dispersed in a spiral shape from the twisting portions 4A and 4B, the one extending in the front side of the drawing is omitted.
- the brush unit 10 has bristles 5d extending from one twisting unit 4A of the twisting units 4A and 4B adjacent to each other in the brush unit axial direction P in the direction of the other twisting unit 4B; A bristle 5u extending from the other twisting portion 4B in the direction of the one twisting portion 4A intersects with the other.
- the same effect as that of the first embodiment can be obtained.
- the eyelashes 11 are often entangled in the contact portion 8 of the bristles, and fine coating operations can be performed on difficult-to-paint areas such as eyelids, eyebrows and lower eyebrows.
- the contact degree of the contact portion 8 of the bristles is not limited to the cross configuration as in this embodiment, but only the tip of the bristles 5 may be in contact, or the central portion or the proximal end of the bristles 5 may be crossed. These modifications can be arbitrarily changed by adjusting the length of the bristles 5. Further, the contact portion 8 of the bristle may be formed at a part of the brush portion 10. That is, depending on the shape of the brush unit 10, contact and non-contact may be mixed.
- the bristles 5 employed in Examples 1 and 2 above may be fibers such as synthetic resin and animal and animal hairs that can generally be employed in cosmetic brushes, and solid hollow fibers also have various cross-sectional shapes of fibers. Variations may also be used.
- the bristles 5 use soft fibers.
- the bristles 5 are non-stretched synthetic fibers produced without extrusion processing after the extrusion process in the bristle production process. Details of this unstretched fiber are omitted because they are described in Japanese Patent No. 5100985. Since the non-stretched fiber has low rigidity, it is suitable because the restraining force from the deformed core 3i is easily reflected when it is twisted between the deformed cores 3i and 3i.
- FIG. 9 is a view comparing an embodiment obtained with a deformed core according to the present invention and an embodiment obtained with a core having a circular cross section.
- FIG. 9 uses a core wire having a cross-sectional regular circle with a wire diameter d of 0.8 mm, and (b) shows one using an irregular core wire 3i with a square cross-sectional diameter d of 0.8 mm, c) uses the core wire of the cross-sectional regular circle whose wire diameter d is 0.9 mm.
- the upper part is a photograph comparing the brush parts
- the middle part is a cross-sectional view of the core line (orthogonal to the brush part axial direction)
- the lower part is a schematic view of the twisted part of the core lines. Note that the alternate long and short dash line in the drawing is an auxiliary line.
- the brush portion 10b is obtained by the deformed core wire 3i according to the present invention
- the brush portion 10a is obtained by the core wire having the same diameter d as the deformed core wire 3i
- the brush portion 10c is approximately the deformed core wire 3i. It is obtained by a core wire of a circular cross section having the same cross sectional area A.
- the brush portion 10b disperses the bristles 5 in the brush portion axial direction P more than the brush portion 10a or the brush portion 10c by using the irregular core wire 3i having a non-circular cross section for the core wire. It is easier.
- the brush portion 10 b uses the deformed core wire 3 i, so that the twist ⁇ 4 of the core wire has an inclination ⁇ b, and the brush portion axial direction P of the twist This is because the appearing pitch hb spreads.
- the brush portion 10b using the irregular core 3i since the surface and the angle shown in FIG. 4 appear in the twisted portion 4 of the core, this interferes to enlarge the inclination ⁇ b of the twisted portion, and the inclination ⁇ b satisfies the above conditions. It becomes larger than the inclination ⁇ a and the inclination ⁇ c of the circular cross section.
- the pitch hb of the twisting portion 4 of the brush portion 10b is larger than the pitch hc of the brush portion 10c than the pitch ha of the brush portion 10a.
- the bristles 5 are dispersed in the brush portion axial direction P more than the brush portion 10a or the brush portion 10c in the brush portion 10b, the liquid reservoir space of the brush portion 10b is expanded by this amount, and the liquid content is improved.
- the pitch of the twisted portions 4 of the core wire can be extended by using.
