- the ink jet recording method has many advantages as described above, water is used as the main solvent of the ink for ink jet recording. For this reason, the surface of a metal or ceramic member used in the ink jet printer, especially the part that comes into contact with ink, is oxidized by contact with water, and metal ions and silicon ions elute into the ink, gradually eroding the member. Has the problem of progressing.
- a basic ink containing a trivalent metal ion is used as an inkjet ink to be filled in a print head having a silicon die structure. It is disclosed that a metal ion-silicate complex can be formed to suppress the elution of silica into the ink.

It is done.
- the method for producing a water-based ink for inkjet recording of the present invention comprises dispersing a pigment with a polymer by a disperser using dispersed media particles containing a zirconium compound, A step of introducing a solid zirconium compound (hereinafter also referred to as a “zirconium compound introduction step”), thereby producing a water-based ink containing pigment-containing polymer particles and a specific amount of the solid zirconium compound. - the reason why the water-based ink for ink-jet recording obtained by the production method of the present invention has the above-described effect is considered as follows.
- a member that comes into contact with ink includes a print head.
- the material in the print head is usually an inorganic material such as metal or ceramics.
- Zirconium ions which are polyvalent metal ions, can form composite metal salts with the above metals and metal compounds contained in ceramics. For this reason, it is thought that by containing a zirconium compound in the water-based ink, oxidation of the surface of a member such as a print head by water is suppressed, and corrosion can be suppressed.
- zirconium compound in solid form in the water-based ink even if the composite metal salt is peeled off from the surface of the member, zirconium ions are newly supplied to the ink, so that the corrosion inhibiting effect over a long period of time is achieved. It is thought to play. And, by introducing a solid zirconium compound in the step of dispersing the pigment with the polymer, a certain dispersion effect is exhibited even for zirconium compounds such as zirconia having a heavy specific gravity, and it is considered that there is a long-term corrosion inhibiting effect. It is done. A water-based ink containing a zirconium compound only as an ionic form cannot exert a corrosion inhibiting effect continuously for a long period of time.

遠心加速度[m/s2]=N2π2r/900
