Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fügevorrichtung (1) zum stirnseitigen Fügen eines Überlappstosses (13), wobei die Fügevorrichtung (1) aufweist: eine mitlaufende Spanneinrichtung (9) zum Einspannen der zu fügenden Werkstücke (3) unter Ausbildung eines Überlappstosses (13), wobei die Spanneinrichtung (9) Spannelemente (15, 17) zum Angreifen an den Werkstücken (3) aufweist; eine Strahlführungseinrichtung (11), die ausgebildet ist, einen Energiestrahl (5) von der Stirnseite (21) des Überlappstosses (13) her auf den Überlappstoss (13) zu richten; und einen optischen Sensor (33), der zum Erfassen der Positionierung des Überlappstosses (13) bezüglich einer senkrecht zu einer Stirnfläche (21) des Überlappstosses (13) verlaufenden Vertikalrichtung ausgebildet ist.
