Abstract
Description
合成ポリイソプレンの性能をより天然ゴムに近づけ、耐久性を向上させるために、従来より、合成ポリイソプレンの高シス化による伸長結晶性の改良が行われてきた(例えば、特許文献1-3参照)。これにより合成ポリイソプレンの耐久性は改良されたが、目的量のポリイソプレンを得るために大量の触媒が必要であることから、合成ポリイソプレン中の触媒残渣量が多く、その為、高シビリティ条件下の耐久性は天然ゴムには及ばないという問題がある。また、一部の技術においては、ハロゲンや芳香族系の溶媒を使用することにより、工業生産の際の環境負荷が極めて高いという難点があった。
また、イソプレン骨格を有する重合体は、他のモノマーから構成された重合体に比べ、高分子量の重合体を効率よく製造しにくいことが分かっており、このことが高シビリティ条件下での耐久性を低下させる要因と考えられる。
即ち、本発明の重合触媒組成物は、下記一般式(i)で表される希土類元素化合物((A)成分)
M-(NQ1)(NQ2)(NQ3) ・・・(i)
(式中、Mはランタノイド、スカンジウム、イットリウムから選択される少なくとも一種であり、NQ1、NQ2及びNQ3はアミド基であり、同一であっても異なっていてもよく、ただし、M-N結合を有する)と、
イオン性化合物及びハロゲン化合物から選択される少なくとも一種((B)成分)と、
下記一般式(ii)で表される化合物((C)成分)
YR1 aR2 bR3 c ・・・ (X)
(式中、Yは、周期律表第1族、第2族、第12族及び第13族から選択される金属であり、R1及びR2は炭素数1~10の炭化水素基または水素原子で、R3は炭素数1~10の炭化水素基であり、但し、R1、R2及びR3はそれぞれ互いに同一または異なっていてもよく、また、Yが周期律表第1族から選択される金属である場合には、aは1で且つb及びcは0であり、Yが周期律表第2族及び第12族から選択される金属である場合には、a及びbは1で且つcは0であり、Yが周期律表第13族から選択される金属である場合には、a,b及びcは1である)と
を含む、ことを特徴とする。
この重合触媒組成物を用いることにより、高分子量のポリイソプレンの合成が可能である。また、該重合触媒組成物を用いることで、高シビリティ条件下でも良好な耐久性を奏するゴム組成物を得ることができる。
なお、本明細書における「希土類元素」とは、ランタノイド元素、スカンジウム、またはイットリウムを指すものとする。
M-(NQ1)(NQ2)(NQ3) ・・・(i)
(式中、Mはランタノイド、スカンジウム、イットリウムから選択される少なくとも一種であり、NQ1、NQ2及びNQ3はアミド基であり、同一であっても異なっていてもよく、ただし、M-N結合を有する)と、
イオン性化合物及びハロゲン化合物から選択される少なくとも一種((B)成分)と、
下記一般式(ii)で表される化合物((C)成分)

を含む重合触媒組成物の存在下で、イソプレンモノマーを重合させる、ことを特徴とする。
上記のように、(A)~(C)成分を有する触媒組成物を使用してイソプレンモノマーを合成することで、過剰のゲル化を伴うことなく、高分子量のポリイソプレンの製造が可能である。これにより、該ポリイソプレンをゴム組成物に配合することで、その耐久性を向上させることが可能である。
本発明に係る重合触媒組成物を用いて製造される重合体は、合成ポリイソプレンである。
前記合成ポリイソプレンのシス-1,4結合量としては、特に制限はなく、目的に応じて適宜選択することができるが、95%以上が好ましく、97%以上がより好ましく、98%以上が特に好ましい。
前記シス-1,4結合量が、95%以上であると、ポリマー鎖の配向が良好となり、伸長結晶性の生成が十分となり、更に、98%以上であると、より高い耐久性を得るのに十分な伸長結晶性を生成できる。
前記合成ポリイソプレンのトランス-1,4結合量としては、特に制限はなく、目的に応じて適宜選択することができるが、5%未満が好ましく、3%未満がより好ましく、1%未満が特に好ましい。
前記トランス-1,4結合量を5%未満とすると、伸長結晶性が阻害を受けにくくなる。
-3,4-ビニル結合量-
前記合成ポリイソプレンの3,4-ビニル結合量としては、特に制限はなく、目的に応じて適宜選択することができるが、5%以下が好ましく、3%以下がより好ましく、1%以下が特に好ましい。
前記3,4-ビニル結合量を5%以下とすると、伸長結晶性が阻害を受けにくくなる。
前記ポリイソプレンの重量平均分子量(Mw)は、100万以上が好ましく、更に150万以上が好ましい。
-数平均分子量(Mn)-
前記ポリイソプレンの数平均分子量(Mn)は、40万以上が好ましく、更に50万以上が好ましい。
前記ポリイソプレンの触媒残渣量は、600ppm以下が好ましく、200ppm以下が更に好ましい。触媒残渣量を、600ppm以下にすることで、高シビリティ条件下の耐久性が良好となる。なお、ここでいう触媒残渣量とは、具体的にはポリイソプレン中に残存する希土類元素化合物の測定値をいうものとする。
次に、前記合成ポリイソプレンを製造することができる製造方法を詳細に説明する。但し、以下に詳述する製造方法は、あくまで例示に過ぎない。
本発明における重合工程は、イソプレンモノマーを重合する工程である。
前記重合工程においては、本発明の重合触媒組成物を用いること以外は、通常の配位イオン重合触媒による重合体の製造方法と同様にして、単量体であるイソプレンを重合させることができる。本発明において、使用される重合触媒または重合触媒組成物については、後に詳述する。
次に、本発明の重合触媒組成物について説明する。
本発明の重合触媒組成物の触媒活性は、30kg/mol・h以上が好ましく、1000kg/mol・h以上が更に好ましい。触媒活性を30kg/mol・h以上にすることで、効率よくポリイソプレンを合成することが可能となる。なお、ここでいう触媒活性の数値は、触媒単位モル、及び単位時間あたりにポリイソプレンを製造する能力を示すものとする。
前記重合触媒組成物は、少なくとも
(A)成分:下記一般式(i)で表される希土類元素化合物
M-M-(NQ1)(NQ2)(NQ3) ・・・(i)
(式中、Mはランタノイド、スカンジウム、イットリウムから選択される少なくとも一種であり、NQ1、NQ2及びNQ3はアミド基であり、同一であっても異なっていてもよく、ただし、M-N結合を有する)と、
(B)成分:イオン性化合物(B-1)及びハロゲン化合物(B-3)のうち少なくとも一種と、
(C)成分:下記一般式(X):

上記(A)成分は、希土類元素化合物ルイス塩基との反応物であって、希土類元素と炭素との結合を有さない反応物も含む。
上記(B-1)は、非配位性アニオンとカチオンとからなるイオン性化合物を含む。
上記(B-3)は、ルイス酸、金属ハロゲン化物とルイス塩基との錯化合物及び活性ハロゲンを含む有機化合物のうち少なくとも一種を含む。
なお、さらにアルミノキサン(B-2)を含んでいてもよい。
また、アニオン性配位子となり得る化合物((D)成分)を含んでいてもよい。
なお、ランタノイド元素の具体例としては、ランタニウム、セリウム、プラセオジム、ネオジム、プロメチウム、サマリウム、ユウロピウム、ガドリニウム、テルビウム、ジスプロシウム、ホルミニウム、エルビウム、ツリウム、イッテルビウム、ルテチウムを挙げることができる。なお、上記(A)成分は、一種単独で用いてもよいし、二種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
なお、上記重合触媒組成物におけるハロゲン化合物の合計の含有量は、(A)成分に対して1~5倍モルであることが好ましい。

(式中、R1及びR2は、同一または異なり、炭素数1~10の炭化水素基または水素原子で、R3は炭素数1~10の炭化水素基であり、但し、R3は上記R1またはR2と同一または異なっていてもよい)で表される有機アルミニウム化合物であることが好ましい。一般式(Xa)の有機アルミニウム化合物としては、トリメチルアルミニウム、トリエチルアルミニウム、トリ-n-プロピルアルミニウム、トリイソプロピルアルミニウム、トリ-n-ブチルアルミニウム、トリイソブチルアルミニウム、トリ-t-ブチルアルミニウム、トリペンチルアルミニウム、トリヘキシルアルミニウム、トリシクロヘキシルアルミニウム、トリオクチルアルミニウム;水素化ジエチルアルミニウム、水素化ジ-n-プロピルアルミニウム、水素化ジ-n-ブチルアルミニウム、水素化ジイソブチルアルミニウム、水素化ジヘキシルアルミニウム、水素化ジイソヘキシルアルミニウム、水素化ジオクチルアルミニウム、水素化ジイソオクチルアルミニウム;エチルアルミニウムジハイドライド、n-プロピルアルミニウムジハイドライド、イソブチルアルミニウムジハイドライド等が挙げられ、これらの中でも、トリエチルアルミニウム、トリイソブチルアルミニウム、水素化ジエチルアルミニウム、水素化ジイソブチルアルミニウムが好ましい。以上に述べた(C)成分としての有機アルミニウム化合物は、一種単独で使用することも、2種以上を混合して用いることもできる。なお、上記重合触媒組成物における(C)成分の含有量は、(A)成分に対して10倍モル以上であることが好ましく、特に20~1000倍モルであることが更に好ましい。また、(C)成分の含有量は、後に添加するイソプレンモノマーのモル量の1/5000以上、特に1/3000~1/10とすることが好ましい。モル比率をこのように規定することで、シス-1,4結合量が向上する他、触媒の活性が向上するため、合成ポリイソプレン中の触媒残渣量を大きく低減させることができる。これにより、該ポリイソプレンをゴム組成物に配合することで、その耐久性をより向上させることが可能である。
前記アニオン性配位子となり得る化合物((D)成分)は、(A)成分のアミド基と交換可能なものであれば特に限定されないが、OH基、NH基、SH基のいずれかを有することが好ましい。
また、ヒドラジン系として、N,N’-ビス[3-(3,5-ジ-t-ブチル-4-ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオニル]ヒドラジンを挙げることができる。
(式中、R1、R2及びR3はそれぞれ独立して-O-CjH2j+1、-(O-CkH2k-)a -O-CmH2m+1又は-CnH2n+1 で表され、R1、R2及びR3の少なくとも1つが-(O-CkH2k-)a -O-CmH2m+1であり、j、m及びnはそれぞれ独立して0~12であり、k及びaはそれぞれ独立して1~12であり、R4は炭素数1~12であって、直鎖、分岐、もしくは環状の、飽和もしくは不飽和の、アルキレン基、シクロアルキレン基、シクロアルキルアルキレン基、シクロアルケニルアルキレン基、アルケニレン基、シクロアルケニレン基、シクロアルキルアルケニレン基、シクロアルケニルアルケニレン基、アリーレン基又はアラルキレン基である。)
一般式(I)で示されるものの具体例として、3-メルカプトプロピルトリメトキシシラン、3-メルカプトプロピルトリエトキシシラン、3-メルカプトプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、(メルカプトメチル)ジメチルエトキシシラン、(メルカプトメチル)ジメチルエトキシシラン、メルカプトメチルトリメトキシシラン等が挙げられる。
(式中、Wは-NR8-、-O-又は-CR9R10-(ここで、R8及びR9は-CpH2p+1であり、R10は-CqH2q+1であり、p及びqはそれぞれ独立して0~20である。)で表され、R5及びR6はそれぞれ独立して-M-CrH2r-(ここで、Mは-O-又は-CH2-であり、rは1~20である。)で表され、R7は-O-CjH2j+1、-(O-CkH2k-)a -O-CmH2m+1又は-CnH2n+1 で表され、j、m及びnはそれぞれ独立して0~12であり、k及びaはそれぞれ独立して1~12であり、R4は炭素数1~12であって、直鎖、分岐、もしくは環状の、飽和もしくは不飽和の、アルキレン基、シクロアルキレン基、シクロアルキルアルキレン基、シクロアルケニルアルキレン基、アルケニレン基、シクロアルケニレン基、シクロアルキルアルケニレン基、シクロアルケニルアルケニレン基、アリーレン基又はアラルキレン基である。)
一般式(II)で示されるものの具体例として、3-メルカプトプロピル(エトキシ)-1,3-ジオキサ-6-メチルアザ-2-シラシクロオクタン、3-メルカプトプロピル(エトキシ)-1,3-ジオキサ-6-ブチルアザ-2-シラシクロオクタン、3-メルカプトプロピル(エトキシ)-1,3-ジオキサ-6-ドデシルアザ-2-シラシクロオクタンなどが挙げられる。
E1-T1-X-T2-E2 ・・・(ii)
(Rは、第15族原子から選択される配位原子を含むアニオン性電子供与基を示し、E1及びE2はそれぞれ独立して、第15族及び16族原子から選択される配位原子を含む中性電子供与基を示し、T1及びT2はそれぞれ、XとE1及び~E2を架橋する架橋基を示す)
前記アリーレン基は、フェニレン基、ナフチレン基、ピリジレン基、チエニレン基(好ましくはフェニレン基、ナフチレン基)などであり得る。また、前記アリーレン基のアリール環上には任意の基が置換されていてもよい。該置換基としてはメチル基、エチル基などのアルキル基、フェニル基、トリル基などのアリール基、フルオロ、クロロ、ブロモなどのハロゲン基、トリメチルシリル基などのシリル基などが例示される。
前記アリーレン基として、さらに好ましくは1,2-フェニレン基が例示される。
より具体的には、ビス(2-ジフェニルホスフィノフェニル)アミン等のPNP配位子が挙げられる。
ゴム組成物は、少なくともゴム成分を含み、さらに必要に応じて、充填剤、架橋剤、その他の成分を含む。
前記ゴム成分は、少なくとも、本発明の製造方法で製造された合成ポリイソプレンを含み、さらに必要に応じて、その他のゴム成分を含む。
前記ゴム成分中における前記合成ポリイソプレンの配合量が、15質量%以上であると、前記合成ポリイソプレンの効果を十分に発揮することができる。
前記その他のゴム成分としては、特に制限はなく、目的に応じて適宜選択することができ、例えば、ブタジエンゴム(BR)、スチレンブタジエンゴム(SBR)、アクリロニトリル-ブタジエンゴム(NBR)、クロロプレンゴム、エチレン-プロピレンゴム(EPM)、エチレン-プロピレン-非共役ジエンゴム(EPDM)、多硫化ゴム、シリコーンゴム、フッ素ゴム、ウレタンゴム、イソプレン共重合体などが挙げられる。これらは、一種単独で使用してもよいし、2種以上を併用してもよい。
前記充填剤としては、特に制限はなく、目的に応じて適宜選択することができ、例えば、カーボンブラック、無機充填剤、などを挙げることができ、カーボンブラック及び無機充填剤から選択される少なくとも一種が好ましい。ここで、前記ゴム組成物には、カーボンブラックが含まれることがより好ましい。なお、前記充填剤は、補強性などを向上させるためにゴム組成物に配合するものである。
前記充填剤の配合量が、10質量部以上であると、充填剤を入れる効果がみられ、100質量部以下であると、前記ゴム成分に充填剤を混ぜ込むことができ、ゴム組成物としての性能を向上させることができる。
一方、前記充填剤の配合量が、前記より好ましい範囲、または、前記特に好ましい範囲内であると、加工性と低ロス性・耐久性のバランスの点で有利である。
前記カーボンブラックとしては、特に制限はなく、目的に応じて適宜選択することができ、例えば、FEF、GPF、SRF、HAF、N339、IISAF、ISAF、SAF、などが挙げられる。これらは、一種単独で使用してもよいし、2種以上を併用してもよい。
前記カーボンブラックの窒素吸着比表面積(N2SA、JIS K 6217-2:2001に準拠して測定する)としては、特に制限はなく、目的に応じて適宜選択することができるが、20m2/g~100m2/gが好ましく、35m2/g~80m2/gがより好ましい。
前記カーボンブラックの窒素吸着比表面積(N2SA)が20m2/g未満であると、得られたゴムの耐久性が低く、十分な耐亀裂成長性が得られないことがあり、100m2/gを超えると、低ロス性が低下し、また、作業性が悪いことがある。
前記ゴム成分100質量部に対するカーボンブラックの含有量としては、特に制限はなく、目的に応じて適宜選択することができるが、10質量部~100質量部が好ましく、10質量部~70質量部がより好ましく、20質量部~60質量部が特に好ましい。
前記カーボンブラックの含有量が、10質量部未満であると、補強性が不十分で耐破壊性が悪化することがあり、100質量部を超えると、加工性及び低ロス性が悪化することがある。
一方、前記カーボンブラックの含有量が、前記より好ましい範囲内であると、各性能のバランスの点で有利である。
前記無機充填剤としては、特に制限はなく、目的に応じて適宜選択することができ、例えば、シリカ、水酸化アルミニウム、クレー、アルミナ、タルク、マイカ、カオリン、ガラスバルーン、ガラスビーズ、炭酸カルシウム、炭酸マグネシウム、水酸化マグネシウム、炭酸カルシウム、酸化マグネシウム、酸化チタン、チタン酸カリウム、硫酸バリウム、などが挙げられる。これらは、一種単独で使用してもよいし、2種以上を併用してもよい。
なお、無機充填剤を用いる時は適宜シランカップリング剤を使用してもよい。
前記架橋剤としては、特に制限はなく、目的に応じて適宜選択することができ、例えば、硫黄系架橋剤、有機過酸化物系架橋剤、無機架橋剤、ポリアミン架橋剤、樹脂架橋剤、硫黄化合物系架橋剤、オキシム-ニトロソアミン系架橋剤、などが挙げられるが、これらの中でもタイヤ用ゴム組成物としては硫黄系架橋剤がより好ましい。
前記架橋剤の含有量が0.1質量部未満であると、架橋がほとんど進行しなかったり、20質量部を超えると、一部の架橋剤により混練り中に架橋が進んでしまう傾向があったり、加硫物の物性が損なわれたりすることがある。
ゴム組成物は、その他に加硫促進剤を併用することも可能であり、加硫促進剤としては、グアジニン系、アルデヒド-アミン系、アルデヒド-アンモニア系、チアゾール系、スルフェンアミド系、チオ尿素系、チウラム系、ジチオカルバメート系、ザンテート系等の化合物が使用できる。
また必要に応じて、軟化剤、加硫助剤、着色剤、難燃剤、滑剤、発泡剤、可塑剤、加工助剤、酸化防止剤、老化防止剤、スコーチ防止剤、紫外線防止剤、帯電防止剤、着色防止剤、その他の配合剤など公知のものをその使用目的に応じて使用することができる。
ゴム組成物は、架橋され、架橋ゴム組成物として用いてもよい。前記架橋ゴム組成物は、ゴム組成物を架橋して得られたものである限り、特に制限はなく、目的に応じて適宜選択することができる。
前記架橋の条件としては、特に制限はなく、目的に応じて適宜選択することができるが、温度120℃~200℃、加温時間1分間~900分間が好ましい。
タイヤは、上記ゴム組成物、または、上記架橋ゴム組成物を用いたものである限り、特に制限はなく、目的に応じて適宜選択することができる。
上記ゴム組成物、または、上記架橋ゴム組成物のタイヤにおける適用部位としては、特に制限はなく、目的に応じて適宜選択することができ、例えば、トレッド、ベーストレッド、サイドウォール、サイド補強ゴム及びビードフィラーなどが挙げられる。
これらの中でも、前記適用部位をトレッドとすることが、耐久性の点で有利である。
前記タイヤを製造する方法としては、慣用の方法を用いることができる。例えば、タイヤ成形用ドラム上に未加硫ゴム及び/またはコードからなるカーカス層、ベルト層、トレッド層等の通常タイヤ製造に用いられる部材を順次貼り重ね、ドラムを抜き去ってグリーンタイヤとする。次いで、このグリーンタイヤを常法に従って加熱加硫することにより、所望のタイヤ(例えば、空気入りタイヤ)を製造することができる。
タイヤ用途以外にも、防振ゴム、免震ゴム、ベルト(コンベアベルト)、ゴムクローラ、各種ホースなどに上記ゴム組成物、または、上記架橋ゴム組成物を使用することができる。
窒素雰囲気下のグローブボックス中で1L耐圧ガラス反応器に、トリスビストリメチルシリルアミドガドリニウム(Gd[N(SiMe3)2]3)((A)成分)353μmol、トリイソブチルアルミニウム((C)成分)3.53mmol、トルエン20.0gを仕込んだのち30分間熟成を行った。その後、トリフェニルカルボニウムテトラキス(ペンタフルオロフェニル)ボレート(Ph3CB(C6F5)4)((B)成分)を353μmol、及びシクロヘキサン472.0gを仕込みさらに30分間熟成を行った。その後、グローブボックスから反応器を取り出し、イソプレン120.0gを添加し、室温で12時間重合を行った。重合後、2,2’-メチレン-ビス(4-エチル-6-tブチルフェノール)(NS-5)5質量%のイソプロパノール溶液1mLを加えて反応を停止させ、さらに大量のメタノールで重合体を分離し、70℃で真空乾燥し重合体Aを得た。得られた重合体Aの収量は119.0gであった。
(A)成分として、トリスビストリメチルシリルアミドガドリニウム(Gd[N(SiMe3)2]3)の代わりに、トリスビストリメチルシリルアミドネオジム(Nd[N(SiMe3)2]3)を用いること以外は実施例1と同様の方法で重合を行ったところ、重合体Bを収量118.0gで得た。
窒素雰囲気下のグローブボックス中で1L耐圧ガラス反応器に、トリスビストリメチルシリルアミドガドリニウム(Gd[N(SiMe3)2]3)((A)成分)5.9μmol、トリイソブチルアルミニウム((C)成分)2.95mmol、トルエン5.0gを仕込んだのち30分間熟成を行った。その後、トリフェニルカルボニウムテトラキス(ペンタフルオロフェニル)ボレート(Ph3CB(C6F5)4)((B)成分)を5.9μmol、及びシクロヘキサン472.0gを仕込みさらに30分間熟成を行った。その後、グローブボックスから反応器を取り出し、イソプレン120.0gを添加し、室温で12時間重合を行った。重合後、2,2’-メチレン-ビス(4-エチル-6-t-ブチルフェノール)(NS-5)5質量%のイソプロパノール溶液1mLを加えて反応を停止させ、さらに大量のメタノールで重合体を分離し、70℃で真空乾燥し重合体Cを得た。得られた重合体Cの収量は103.0gであった。
窒素雰囲気下のグローブボックス中で1L耐圧ガラス反応器に、トリスビストリメチルシリルアミドガドリニウム(Gd[N(SiMe3)2]3)((A)成分)5.9μmol、トリイソブチルアルミニウム((C)成分)2.95mmol、ビス(2-ジフェニルフォスフィノフェニル)アミン((D)成分)5.9μmol、トルエン5.0gを仕込んだのち30分間熟成を行った。その後、トリフェニルカルボニウムテトラキス(ペンタフルオロフェニル)ボレート(Ph3CB(C6F5)4)((B)成分)を5.9μmol、及びシクロヘキサン472.0gを仕込みさらに30分間熟成を行った。その後、グローブボックスから反応器を取り出し、イソプレン120.0gを添加し、室温で5時間重合を行った。重合後、2,2’-メチレン-ビス(4?エチル-6-t-ブチルフェノール)(NS-5)5質量%のイソプロパノール溶液1mLを加えて反応を停止させ、さらに大量のメタノールで重合体を分離し、70℃で真空乾燥し重合体Dを得た。得られた重合体Dの収量は118.5gであった。
(A)成分として、トリスビストリメチルシリルアミドガドリニウム(Gd[N(SiMe3)2]3)の代わりに、トリスビストリメチルシリルアミドイットリウム(Y[N(SiMe3)2]3)を用いること以外は実施例4と同様の方法で重合を行ったところ、重合体Eを収量112.0gで得た。
窒素雰囲気下のグローブボックス中で、十分に乾燥した100ml耐圧ガラスボトルに、ジメチルアルミニウム(μ-ジメチル)ビス(ペンタメチルシクロペンタジエニル)ガドリニウム[(Cp*)2Gd(μ-Me)2AlMe2]を0.05mmol仕込みトルエン34.0mlで溶解させた。次いでトリイソブチルアルミニウム1.5mmol、トリフェニルカルボニウムテトラキス(ペンタフルオロフェニル) ボレート(Ph3CB(C6F5)4)0.05mmolを添加しボトルを打栓した。室温で1時間反応後、グローブボックスからボトルを取り出し、イソプレンを1.0ml仕込み、-40℃で15時間重合を行った。重合後、2,6-ビス(t-ブチル)-4-メチルフェノールの10wt%のメタノール溶液10mlを加えて反応を停止させ、さらに大量のメタノール/塩酸混合溶媒で重合体を分離させ、60℃で真空乾燥した。得られた重合体Xの収率は100%であった。
グローブボックス中で、フラスコ(100mL))に磁気撹祥子を入れ、イソプレン(2.04g、30.0mmol)、[Y(Ch2C6H4NMe2-o)2(PNP)](12.5μmol)のクロロベンゼン溶液(16mL)を加えた後、高速撹枠下、[PhMe2NH][B(C6F5)4](12.5μmol)のクロロベンゼン溶液(4mL)を加えた。室温で5分間撹枠し、反応させた後、メタノールを加えることにより重合を終了させた。反応溶液を少量の塩酸およびブチルヒドロキシトルエン(安定剤)を含むメタノール溶液200mLに注いだ。デカンテーションにより沈殿したポリマー生成物を単離し、メタノールで、洗浄し、60℃にて乾燥させ、重合体Yを得た(収率100%)。
特許文献3に記載のテストCと同一の条件で重合反応を行い、重合体Zを得た。
合成ポリイソプレンA~E及びX~Zについて、1H-NMRおよび13C-NMRにより得られたピーク[1H-NMR:δ4.6-4.8(3,4-ビニルユニットの=CH2)、5.0-5.2(1,4-ユニットの-CH=)、13C-NMR:[δ23.4(1,4-シスユニット)、15.9(1,4-トランスユニット)、18.6(3,4-ユニット)]の積分比からそれぞれ算出した。また、数平均分子量(Mn)、分子量分布(Mw/Mn)は、GPCによりポリスチレンを標準物質として用い求めた。
合成ポリイソプレンA~E及びX~Zについて、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィー[GPC:東ソー製HLC-8220GPC、カラム:東ソー製GMHXL-2本、検出器:示差屈折率計(RI)]で単分散ポリスチレンを基準として、合成ポリイソプレンのポリスチレン換算の重量平均分子量(Mw)、数平均分子量(Mn)及び分子量分布(Mw/Mn)を求めた。なお、測定温度は40℃とした。溶出溶媒としてTHFを用いた。
合成ポリイソプレンA~E及びX~Zについて、波長分散型蛍光X線装置[XRF-1700:島津製作所製]で含有希土類元素量が既知のポリイソプレンを基準として、合成ポリイソプレンの希土類元素量(ppm)を求めた。なお、X線源にはRhを用い、真空下にて測定した。

- 下記一般式(i)で表される希土類元素化合物((A)成分)

(式中、Mはランタノイド、スカンジウム、イットリウムから選択される少なくとも一種であり、NQ1、NQ2及びNQ3はアミド基であり、同一であっても異なっていてもよく、ただし、M-N結合を有する)と、
イオン性化合物及びハロゲン化合物から選択される少なくとも一種((B)成分)と、
下記一般式(X)で表される化合物((C)成分)

(式中、Yは、周期律表第1族、第2族、第12族及び第13族から選択される金属であり、R1及びR2は炭素数1~10の炭化水素基または水素原子で、R3は炭素数1~10の炭化水素基であり、但し、R1、R2及びR3はそれぞれ互いに同一または異なっていてもよく、また、Yが周期律表第1族から選択される金属である場合には、aは1で且つb及びcは0であり、Yが周期律表第2族及び第12族から選択される金属である場合には、a及びbは1で且つcは0であり、Yが周期律表第13族から選択される金属である場合には、a,b及びcは1である)と
を含む、ことを特徴とする重合触媒組成物。 - 下記一般式(i)で表される希土類元素化合物((A)成分)

を含む重合触媒組成物の存在下で、イソプレンモノマーを重合させる、ことを特徴とする合成ポリイソプレンの製造方法。 - 前記イソプレンモノマー、(A)成分、及び(C)成分の配合モル比率は、
(イソプレンモノマー)/((A)成分)が5000以上、
((C)成分)/((A)成分)が10以上、
(イソプレンモノマー)/((C)成分)が5000以下である、請求項2記載の合成ポリイソプレンの製造方法。 - 前記重合触媒組成物に、さらにアニオン性配位子となり得る化合物((D)成分)を配合する、請求項2記載の合成ポリイソプレンの製造方法。
- 前記(D)成分が、OH基、SH基及びNH基のうち、少なくとも1つを有する、請求項4記載の合成ポリイソプレンの製造方法。
- 請求項2~5のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法により製造された合成ポリイソプレンであって、シス-1,4結合量が95%以上である、ことを特徴とする合成ポリイソプレン。
