Abstract
Description
また、本発明は透明感に優れた透明材料の製造方法および該製造方法により得られるプラスチックボトルに関する。
(式中、R1~R4は各々独立して、水素原子又は炭素原子数1~9のアルキル基を表し、R5は水素原子又はメチル基を表し、nは1又は2を表し、nが1の場合、Mはアルカリ金属を表し、nが2の場合、MはAl(OH)を表す)
で表される透明化剤100質量部に対して、着色剤を1.0~10質量部配合してなることを特徴とするものである。

(式(1)中、R1~R4は各々独立して、水素原子又は炭素原子数1~9のアルキル基を表し、R5は水素原子又はメチル基を表し、nは1又は2を表し、nが1の場合、Mはアルカリ金属を表し、nが2の場合、MはAl(OH)を表す)
本発明の透明化剤組成物について、先ず、以下に詳述する。
本発明の透明化剤組成物は、下記一般式(1)、
(式中、R1~R4は各々独立して、水素原子又は炭素原子数1~9のアルキル基を表し、R5は水素原子又はメチル基を表し、nは1又は2を表し、nが1の場合、Mはアルカリ金属を表し、nが2の場合、MはAl(OH)を表す)
で表される透明化剤100質量部に対して、着色剤を1.0~10質量部配合してなるものである。
本発明の樹脂組成物に用いられるポリオレフィン樹脂としては、例えば、低密度ポリエチレン、直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン、高密度ポリエチレン、アイソタクチックポリプロピレン、シンジオタクチックポリプロピレン、ヘミアイソタクチックポリプロピレン、シクロオレフィンポリマー、ステレオブロックポリプロピレン、ポリ-3-メチル-1-ブテン、ポリ-3-メチル-1-ペンテン、ポリ-4-メチル-1-ペンテン等のα-オレフィン重合体、エチレン/プロピレンブロックまたはランダム共重合体等のα-オレフィン共重合体等が挙げられる。
本発明の透明材料の製造方法は、上記一般式(1)で表される透明化剤を、ポリオレフィン樹脂100質量部に対して0.01~0.5質量部配合してなるポリオレフィン樹脂組成物を成形する工程を備え、用いるポリオレフィン樹脂組成物において、厚みが0.5mmのシートを成形した場合の複屈折率(Δn)が5.0×10-3~6.0×10-3の範囲であることを特徴とするものである。複屈折率(Δn)は、成形品の配向方向に偏光した直線偏光に対する屈折率Nxと、配向方向に直交する方向に偏光した直線偏光に対する屈折率Nyとした場合に、

メルトフローレート8g/10minのエチレン/プロピレンランダム共重合体100質量部に対し、フェノール系抗酸化剤;テトラキス[メチレン-3-(3’,5’-ジ第三ブチル-4’-ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオネート]メタン0.1質量部、リン系抗酸化剤:トリス(2,4-ジ第三ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト0.1質量部、ステアリン酸カルシウム0.05質量部、青色顔料:群青(無機顔料)表1記載の量、及び下記の表1記載の透明化剤組成物をヘンシェルミキサー(FM200;三井鉱山(株)製)で1000rpm、1分間混合し、二軸押出機(PCM-30;株式会社池貝製)で、240℃、160rpmのスクリュー速度の加工条件で押出加工してペレットを製造した。
得られたペレットについて、200℃の成形温度で厚みが0.5mmのボトル形状に成形した。ボトル形状の成形品において下記の評価を実施した。
ボトル形状の成形品から切り出したものを試験片とし、ヘイズ・ガード2〔株式会社東洋精機製作所製〕にて、試験片の霞度(Haze)を求めた。
ボトル形状の成形品から切り出したものを試験片とし、分光測色計(SC-T;スガ試験機株式会社製)により試験片の黄色度を測定した。
ボトル形状の成形品を水で充填した場合において、ボトル形状の成形品の背後から10cm離れた場所に置いた文字の視認性について評価した。
文字が読み取れない場合は、×、文字は読み取れるが、文字の輪郭がにじむ場合は、△、文字も輪郭も明確に視認できる場合は、○として評価した。
これらに対し、一般式(1)で表される透明化剤および着色剤をともに用いた実施例1-1~5は、比較例1-1よりも透明化剤の配合量が少ないにも関わらず、透明感に優れ、着色の少ない成形品を得られることが確認できた。
メルトフローレート8g/10minのエチレン/プロピレンランダム共重合体100質量部に対し、フェノール系抗酸化剤;テトラキス[メチレン-3-(3’,5’-ジ第三ブチル-4’-ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオネート]メタン0.1質量部、リン系抗酸化剤:トリス(2,4-ジ第三ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト0.1質量部、ステアリン酸カルシウム0.05質量部、及び下記の表2記載の透明化剤組成物をヘンシェルミキサー(FM200;三井鉱山(株)製)で1000rpm、1分間混合し、二軸押出機(PCM-30;株式会社池貝製)で、240℃、160rpmのスクリュー速度の加工条件で押出加工してペレットを製造した。
得られたペレットについて、200℃の成形温度で厚みが0.5mmのプラスチックボトルに成形した。得られたプラスチックボトルについて、下記の評価を実施した。
得られたプラスチックボトルからシート状断片を切り出して、リタデーション測定装置(大塚電子株式会社製RETS-100)を用いて屈折率を測定し、下記式により複屈折率(Δn)を算出した。なお、式中、Nxは、シートの配向方向に偏光した直線偏光に対する屈折率、Nyは、配向方向に直交する方向に偏光した直線偏光に対する屈折率を表す。
Δn=|Nx―Ny|
前記と同様にして、試験片の霞度(Haze)を求めた。
ボトル形状の成形品を水で充填した場合において、ボトル形状の成形品の背後から10cm離れた場所に置いた場合において、水で充填されたプラスチックボトルを介して文字の視認性を評価した。
文字が読み取れない場合は、×、文字は読み取れるが、文字の輪郭がにじむ場合は、△、文字も輪郭も明確に視認できる場合は、○として評価した。
Claims (11)
- 着色剤が青色顔料である請求項1記載の透明化剤組成物。
- さらに脂肪酸金属塩又は充填材を配合してなる請求項1又は2記載の透明化剤組成物。
- ポリオレフィン樹脂100質量部に対して、請求項1~3の何れか一項記載の透明化剤組成物を0.04~10質量部配合したことを特徴とする樹脂組成物。
- 請求項5記載の樹脂組成物を成形してなることを特徴とする成形品。
- 前記ポリオレフィン樹脂が、メルトフローレート0.1~30g/10minのエチレン・プロピレンランダムコポリマーである請求項7記載の透明材料の製造方法。
- 前記ポリオレフィン樹脂組成物が、さらに脂肪酸金属塩又は充填材を含むものである請求項7又は8記載の透明材料の製造方法。
- 請求項7~9のうち何れか一項記載の透明材料の製造方法により得られることを特徴とするプラスチックボトル。
- 飲料用容器である請求項10記載のプラスチックボトル。
