Definitions
- the present invention relates to a semi-aromatic polyamide having a high heat resistance and a high molecular weight, which is excellent in fluidity during molding.
- Semi-aromatic polyamides are widely used as molded articles for electric and electronic parts because of their high heat resistance and excellent low water absorption. In recent years, with the refinement of these parts, semi-aromatic polyamides are required to have improved fluidity during molding. In order to improve fluidity, it is generally performed to lower the molecular weight of the resin or raise the molding temperature. However, the semi-aromatic polyamide has a problem that the mechanical properties of the molded article are lowered when the molecular weight is lowered. Further, since the semi-aromatic polyamide has a high melting point, there is a problem that when the molding temperature is increased, the deterioration of the resin is promoted and the color tone of the molded product is lowered.
- Patent Documents 1 to 4 disclose a method in which polyphenylene ether is melt-kneaded with polyamide 9T as a method for improving fluidity during molding of a semi-aromatic polyamide having a high melting point and a high molecular weight.
- Patent Document 5 discloses a method of melt-kneading an amide compound having a specific structure and a brominated flame retardant into a semi-aromatic polyamide having a high melting point.
- Patent Document 6 discloses a method of melt-kneading an ester compound having a specific structure and a brominated flame retardant into a high-melting semi-aromatic polyamide.
- the semi-aromatic polyamide resin compositions described in Patent Documents 1 to 6 have a problem that heat resistance is impaired because a specific compound is added to the semi-aromatic polyamide and melt-kneaded.
- the present invention is a semi-aromatic polyamide having high heat resistance and improved fluidity during molding without reducing the color tone and heat resistance of the resulting molded product in a high-molecular-weight semi-aromatic polyamide. It is an object to provide an aromatic polyamide.

Abstract
