6.前記透明導電層が湿式洗浄されたものであることを特徴とする前記1~5のいずれか1項に記載の有機電子デバイス。
本発明に用いられる導電性ポリマーは特に限定されないが、好ましくはπ共役系導電性高分子とポリ陰イオンとを含んで成る導電性ポリマーである。こうした導電性ポリマーは、後述するπ共役系導電性高分子を形成する前駆体モノマーを、適切な酸化剤と酸化触媒と後述のポリ陰イオンの存在下で化学酸化重合することによって容易に製造できる。
本発明に用いられるπ共役系導電性高分子としては、特に限定されず、ポリチオフェン類、ポリピロール類、ポリインドール類、ポリカルバゾール類、ポリアニリン類、ポリアセチレン類、ポリフラン類、ポリパラフェニレンビニレン類、ポリアズレン類、ポリパラフェニレン類、ポリパラフェニレンサルファイド類、ポリイソチアナフテン類、ポリチアジル類の鎖状導電性ポリマーを利用することができる。中でも、導電性、透明性、安定性等の観点からポリチオフェン類やポリアニリン類が好ましい。ポリエチレンジオキシチオフェンであることが最も好ましい。
π共役系導電性高分子前駆体モノマーは、分子内にπ共役系を有し、適切な酸化剤の作用によって高分子化した際にもその主鎖にπ共役系が形成されるものである。例えば、ピロール類及びその誘導体、チオフェン類及びその誘導体、アニリン類及びその誘導体等が挙げられる。
本発明のポリ陰イオンとは、置換若しくは未置換のポリアルキレン、置換若しくは未置換のポリアルケニレン、置換若しくは未置換のポリイミド、置換若しくは未置換のポリアミド、置換若しくは未置換のポリエステル及びこれらの共重合体等であって、置換基としてアニオン基を有するものであり、アニオン基を有する構成単位とアニオン基を有さない構成単位とからなるものであっても良い。
本発明に用いられる水系バインダーは、導電性ポリマーとともに透明導電層を形成する。本発明に係る透明導電層の少なくとも一部は架橋されている。本発明において、透明導電層の少なくとも一部が架橋されているとは、水系バインダーの一部が架橋構造をとる場合と、水系バインダーと導電性ポリマーとの間で架橋構造をとる場合がある。
本発明においては、水系バインダーが前記ポリマー(A)で表されることが好ましい。

本発明では、第1透明電極と有機機能層の間に透明導電層を有することで、突起や異物を透明導電層に埋め込むことができ、デバイスの電極間のリーク等の有機機能層へのダメージが軽減され、デバイスの寿命、保存性が向上する。また、透明導電層を形成する際、水系バインダーより表面エネルギーの低い導電性ポリマーが表面に配向すると考えられ、導電層と有機機能層の界面での正孔の注入障壁が低下し、デバイスの駆動電圧が低下する。
本発明の有機電子デバイスは、基板上に対向する第1透明電極と第2電極を有し、第1透明電極と第2電極との電極間に少なくとも1層の有機機能層を有する。有機機能層としては、有機発光層、有機光電変換層、液晶ポリマー層などを特に限定無く挙げることができるが、本発明は、有機機能層が薄膜でかつ電流駆動系のデバイスである有機発光層、有機光電変換層である場合において、特に有効である。
本発明において有機機能層は、有機発光層や有機光電変換層に加えて、正孔注入層、正孔輸送層、電子輸送層、電子注入層、正孔阻止層、電子阻止層などの有機発光層と併用して発光を制御する層を有しても良い。本発明では、導電性ポリマーを有する透明導電層は正孔注入層を兼ねることも可能だが、正孔の移動のしやすさの観点から、独立に正孔注入層をもうけ、透明導電層と隣接することが好ましい。
先ず、有機機能層が有機発光層である有機エレクトロルミネッセンス(以下、ELと略す)デバイスについて説明する。有機機能層が発光層である構成例を以下に示す。本発明はこれらに限定されないが、上述の通り特に(v)の構成のデバイスが好ましい。

[発光層]
発光層は、発光極大波長が各々430~480nm、510~550nm、600~640nmの範囲にある単色発光層であってもよく、また、これらの少なくとも三層の発光層を積層して白色発光層としたものであってもよく、さらに、発光層間には非発光性の中間層を有していてもよい。本発明に係る有機ELデバイスとしては、白色発光層であることが好ましい。
注入層とは、駆動電圧低下や発光輝度向上のために電極と有機機能層間に設ける層のことで、例えば、「有機ELデバイスとその工業化最前線(1998年11月30日エヌ・ティー・エス社発行)」の第2編第2章「電極材料」(123~166頁)にその詳細に記載されており、正孔注入層と電子注入層とがある。正孔注入層としては、第1透明電極との仕事関数の差が少ないことが要求される。特開平9-45479号公報、同9-260062号公報、同8-288069号公報等にもその詳細が記載されており、具体例として、銅フタロシアニンに代表されるフタロシアニンバッファー層、酸化バナジウムに代表される酸化物バッファー層、アモルファスカーボンバッファー層、ポリアニリン(エメラルディン)やポリチオフェン等の導電性ポリマー層等が挙げられる。特に塗布法での使用が可能である点から、導電性ポリマー層を使用することが好ましい。また、正孔注入層に使用する導電性ポリマーは仕事関数の観点から、化合物内にフッ素(F)を有するポリアニオンであることが好ましい。また、Fは後から添加してもよく、パーフルオロ化されたポリアニオンでもよい。具体的には、パーフルオロスルホン酸基を含有するナフィオン(Dupont社製)、カルボン酸基を含有するパーフルオロ型ビニルエーテルからなるフレミオン(旭硝子社製)などをあげることができる。
阻止層は、有機化合物薄膜の基本構成層の他に必要に応じて設けられるものである。例えば、特開平11-204258号公報、同11-204359号公報、及び「有機ELデバイスとその工業化最前線(1998年11月30日エヌ・ティー・エス社発行)」の237頁等に記載されている正孔阻止層がある。正孔阻止層とは広い意味では電子輸送層の機能を有し、電子を輸送する機能を有しつつ正孔を輸送する能力が著しく小さい正孔阻止材料からなり、電子を輸送しつつ正孔を阻止することで電子と正孔の再結合確率を向上させることができる。また、後述する電子輸送層の構成を必要に応じて、正孔阻止層として用いることができる。本発明の白色有機ELデバイスに設ける正孔阻止層は、発光層に隣接して設けられていることが好ましい。一方、電子阻止層とは広い意味では正孔輸送層の機能を有し、正孔を輸送する機能を有しつつ電子を輸送する能力が著しく小さい材料からなり、正孔を輸送しつつ電子を阻止することで電子と正孔の再結合確率を向上させることができる。また、後述する正孔輸送層の構成を必要に応じて電子阻止層として用いることができる。本発明に係る正孔阻止層、電子輸送層の膜厚としては、好ましくは100nm以下であり、更に好ましくは5~30nmである。
正孔輸送層とは正孔を輸送する機能を有する正孔輸送材料からなり、広い意味で正孔注入層、電子阻止層も正孔輸送層に含まれる。正孔輸送層は単層または複数層設けることができる。正孔輸送材料としては、正孔の注入または輸送、電子の障壁性のいずれかを有するものであり、有機物、無機物のいずれであってもよい。例えば、トリアゾール誘導体、オキサジアゾール誘導体、イミダゾール誘導体、ポリアリールアルカン誘導体、ピラゾリン誘導体及びピラゾロン誘導体、フェニレンジアミン誘導体、アリールアミン誘導体、アミノ置換カルコン誘導体、オキサゾール誘導体、スチリルアントラセン誘導体、フルオレノン誘導体、ヒドラゾン誘導体、スチルベン誘導体、シラザン誘導体、アニリン系共重合体、また導電性高分子オリゴマー、特にチオフェンオリゴマー等が挙げられる。正孔輸送材料としては上記のものを使用することができるが、更にはポルフィリン化合物、芳香族第3級アミン化合物及びスチリルアミン化合物、特に芳香族第3級アミン化合物を用いることが好ましい。芳香族第3級アミン化合物及びスチリルアミン化合物の代表例としては、N,N,N′,N′-テトラフェニル-4,4′-ジアミノフェニル;N,N′-ジフェニル-N,N′-ビス(3-メチルフェニル)-〔1,1′-ビフェニル〕-4,4′-ジアミン(TPD);2,2-ビス(4-ジ-p-トリルアミノフェニル)プロパン;1,1-ビス(4-ジ-p-トリルアミノフェニル)シクロヘキサン;N,N,N′,N′-テトラ-p-トリル-4,4′-ジアミノビフェニル;1,1-ビス(4-ジ-p-トリルアミノフェニル)-4-フェニルシクロヘキサン;ビス(4-ジメチルアミノ-2-メチルフェニル)フェニルメタン;ビス(4-ジ-p-トリルアミノフェニル)フェニルメタン;N,N′-ジフェニル-N,N′-ジ(4-メトキシフェニル)-4,4′-ジアミノビフェニル;N,N,N′,N′-テトラフェニル-4,4′-ジアミノジフェニルエーテル;4,4′-ビス(ジフェニルアミノ)クオードリフェニル;N,N,N-トリ(p-トリル)アミン;4-(ジ-p-トリルアミノ)-4′-〔4-(ジ-p-トリルアミノ)スチリル〕スチルベン;4-N,N-ジフェニルアミノ-(2-ジフェニルビニル)ベンゼン;3-メトキシ-4′-N,N-ジフェニルアミノスチルベンゼン;N-フェニルカルバゾール、更には米国特許第5,061,569号明細書に記載されている2個の縮合芳香族環を分子内に有するもの、例えば、4,4′-ビス〔N-(1-ナフチル)-N-フェニルアミノ〕ビフェニル(NPD)、特開平4-308688号公報に記載されているトリフェニルアミンユニットが3つスターバースト型に連結された4,4′,4″-トリス〔N-(3-メチルフェニル)-N-フェニルアミノ〕トリフェニルアミン(MTDATA)等が挙げられる。更にこれらの材料を高分子鎖に導入した、またはこれらの材料を高分子の主鎖とした高分子材料を用いることもできる。また、p型-Si、p型-SiC等の無機化合物も正孔注入材料、正孔輸送材料として使用することができる。また、特開平4-297076号公報、特開2000-196140号公報、特開2001-102175号公報、J.Appl.Phys.,95,5773(2004)、特開平11-251067号公報、J.Huang et.al.著文献(Applied Physics Letters 80(2002),p.139)、特表2003-519432号公報に記載されているような、所謂p型半導体的性質を有するとされる正孔輸送材料を用いることもできる。本発明においては、より高効率の発光デバイスが得られることから、これらの材料を用いることが好ましい。正孔輸送層は上記正孔輸送材料を、例えば、真空蒸着法、スピンコート法、キャスト法、インクジェット法を含む印刷法、LB法等の公知の方法により、薄膜化することにより形成することができる。正孔輸送層の膜厚については特に制限はないが、通常は5nm~5μm程度、好ましくは5~200nmである。この正孔輸送層は上記材料の1種または2種以上からなる一層構造であってもよい。
電子輸送層とは電子を輸送する機能を有する材料からなり、広い意味で電子注入層、正孔阻止層も電子輸送層に含まれる。電子輸送層は単層または複数層設けることができる。従来、単層の電子輸送層、及び複数層とする場合は、発光層に対して陰極側に隣接する電子輸送層に用いられる電子輸送材料(正孔阻止材料を兼ねる)としては、陰極より注入された電子を発光層に伝達する機能を有していればよく、その材料としては従来公知の化合物の中から任意のものを選択して用いることができ、例えば、ニトロ置換フルオレン誘導体、ジフェニルキノン誘導体、チオピランジオキシド誘導体、カルボジイミド、フレオレニリデンメタン誘導体、アントラキノジメタン及びアントロン誘導体、オキサジアゾール誘導体等が挙げられる。更に、上記オキサジアゾール誘導体において、オキサジアゾール環の酸素原子を硫黄原子に置換したチアジアゾール誘導体、電子吸引基として知られているキノキサリン環を有するキノキサリン誘導体も、電子輸送材料として用いることができる。更にこれらの材料を高分子鎖に導入した、またはこれらの材料を高分子の主鎖とした高分子材料を用いることもできる。また、8-キノリノール誘導体の金属錯体、例えば、トリス(8-キノリノール)アルミニウム(Alq3)、トリス(5,7-ジクロロ-8-キノリノール)アルミニウム、トリス(5,7-ジブロモ-8-キノリノール)アルミニウム、トリス(2-メチル-8-キノリノール)アルミニウム、トリス(5-メチル-8-キノリノール)アルミニウム、ビス(8-キノリノール)亜鉛(Znq)等、及びこれらの金属錯体の中心金属がIn、Mg、Cu、Ca、Sn、GaまたはPbに置き替わった金属錯体も、電子輸送材料として用いることができる。その他、メタルフリーもしくはメタルフタロシアニン、またはそれらの末端がアルキル基やスルホン酸基等で置換されているものも、電子輸送材料として好ましく用いることができる。また、発光層の材料として例示したジスチリルピラジン誘導体も電子輸送材料として用いることができるし、正孔注入層、正孔輸送層と同様にn型-Si、n型-SiC等の無機半導体も電子輸送材料として用いることができる。電子輸送層は上記電子輸送材料を、例えば、真空蒸着法、スピンコート法、キャスト法、インクジェット法を含む印刷法、LB法等の公知の方法により、薄膜化することにより形成することができる。電子輸送層の膜厚については特に制限はないが、通常は5nm~5μm程度、好ましくは5~200nmである。電子輸送層は上記材料の1種または2種以上からなる一層構造であってもよい。また、不純物をドープしたn型半導体的性質を有するとされる電子輸送材料を用いることもできる。その例としては、特開平4-297076号公報、特開平10-270172号公報、特開2000-196140号公報、特開2001-102175号公報、J.Appl.Phys.,95,5773(2004)などに記載されたものが挙げられる。本発明においては、このようなn型半導体的性質を有するとされる電子輸送材料を用いることが、より低消費電力のデバイスを作製することができるため好ましい。
本発明に係る第2電極は、有機ELデバイスにおいては陰極となる。本発明に係る第2電極部は導電材単独層であっても良いが、導電性を有する材料に加えて、これらを保持する樹脂を併用してもよい。第2電極部の導電材としては、仕事関数の小さい(4eV以下)金属(電子注入性金属と称する)、合金、電気伝導性化合物及びこれらの混合物を電極物質とするものが用いられる。このような電極物質の具体例としては、ナトリウム、ナトリウム-カリウム合金、マグネシウム、リチウム、マグネシウム/銅混合物、マグネシウム/銀混合物、マグネシウム/アルミニウム混合物、マグネシウム/インジウム混合物、アルミニウム/酸化アルミニウム(Al2O3)混合物、インジウム、リチウム/アルミニウム混合物、希土類金属等が挙げられる。
次に有機光電変換デバイスについて説明する。本発明の有機光電変換デバイスは、第1透明電極、バルクヘテロジャンクション構造(p型半導体層及びn型半導体層)を有する光電変換層(以下「バルクヘテロジャンクション層」とも呼ぶ。)、第2電極が積層された構造を有し、第1透明電極と光電変換層との間に本発明の透明導電層を有することを特徴とする。
光電変換層は、光エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換する層であって、p型半導体材料とn型半導体材料とを一様に混合したバルクヘテロジャンクション層を構成している。
本発明において、第1透明電極としては、透明基板上に、ITO、ZnO、金属薄膜層など、公知の透明導電性電極層が全面に形成されているもの、あるいは、後述のストライプ状、メッシュ状、あるいは、ランダムな網目状電極等が形成されているものなどを挙げることができるが、これらに限定はされない。大面積化に対応するためには、本発明の第1透明電極は、光不透過の導電部と透光性窓部とからなる電極を有するものであってもよい。前記光不透過の導電部を形成する材料としては導電性が良い点で金属であることが好ましく、金属材料としては、例えば、金、銀、銅、鉄、ニッケル、クロム等が挙げられる。また導電部の金属は合金でも良く、金属層は単層でも多層でも良い。
導電部がストライプ状、あるいはメッシュ状の電極を形成する方法としては、特に、制限はなく、従来公知な方法が利用できる。例えば、基材全面に金属層を形成し、公知のフォトリソ法によって形成できる。具体的には、基材上に全面に、蒸着、スパッタ、めっき等の1或いは2以上の物理的或いは化学的形成手法を用いて導電体層を形成する、あるいは、金属箔を接着剤で基材に積層した後、公知のフォトリソ法を用いて、エッチングすることにより、所望のストライプ状、あるいはメッシュ状に加工できる。
ランダムな網目構造としては、例えば、特表2005-530005号公報に記載のような、金属微粒子を含有する液を塗布乾燥することにより、自発的に導電性微粒子の無秩序な網目構造を形成する方法を利用できる。
電極はその表面や内部に異物や不純物があると、有機電子デバイスの寿命などの性能に大きく影響する。そのため、本発明では透明導電層を湿式洗浄してもよい。湿式洗浄とは、水系溶媒の洗浄液を使って透明導電層を洗浄することをいい、透明導電層中の不純物や層上の異物を取り除くことができ、不純物の少ない高平滑な導電層が得られる。これにより、寿命、保存性に優れた有機電子デバイスが得られる。水系溶媒とは50質量%以上が水である溶媒を表す。もちろん、他の溶媒を含有しない純水であっても良い。さらに、洗浄液中の異物の少なさから、超純水であることが望ましい。超純水とは、水温が25℃のとき、比抵抗が18MΩ・cm程度で、JISK0551に準じた方法で測定された全有機炭素TOCが0.05mg/L未満である水のことをいう。水系溶媒の水以外の成分は、水に相溶する溶剤であれば特に制限はないが、アルコール系の溶媒を好ましく用いることができ、中でも、沸点が比較的水に近いイソプロピルアルコールを用いることが好ましい。さらに透明導電層の濡れ性を改善するため、洗浄液は界面活性剤を含んでいてもよい。また、洗浄液はフィルター成分が溶出しない限り、各種フィルターを介したものであることが、洗浄液中の異物が少なくなることから、好ましい。
本発明に用いられる透明基板としては、高い光透過性を有していればそれ以外に特に制限はない。例えば、基板としての硬度に優れ、またその表面への導電層の形成のし易さ等の点で、ガラス基板、樹脂基板、樹脂フィルムなどが好適に挙げられるが、多段洗浄処理との適合性の観点や軽量性と柔軟性といった性能の観点から透明樹脂フィルムを用いることが好ましい。
<ATRP(Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization)法を用いたリビングラジカル重合>
「開始剤1の合成」
合成例1(メトキシキャップされたオリゴエチレングリコール-2-ブロモイソブチレート(開始剤1)の合成)
開始剤1(500mg、1.02mmol)、2-ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート(4.64g、40mmol、東京化成社製)、50:50 v/v% メタノール/水混合溶媒5mlをシュレンク管に投入し、減圧下液体窒素に10分間シュレンク管を浸した。シュレンク管を液体窒素から出し、5分後に窒素置換を行った。この操作を3回行った後、窒素下で、ビピリジン(400mg、2.56mmol)、CuBr(147mg、1.02mmol)を加え、20℃で攪拌した。30分後、ろ紙とシリカを敷いた4cm桐山ロート上に反応溶液を滴下し、減圧で反応溶液を回収した。ロータリーエバポレーターにより溶媒を減圧留去後、50℃で3時間減圧乾燥した。その結果、数平均分子量13100、分子量分布1.17、数平均分子量<1000の含量0%、の水溶性バインダーP-1を2.60g(収率84%)得た。

モノマーとしてヒドロキシエチルビニルエーテル及びヒドロキシエチルアクリルアミドを用いた以外は同様にして、各々P-2:ポリヒドロキシエチルビニルエーテル(数平均分子量約2万、数平均分子量<1000の含量0%)、P-3:ポリヒドロキシエチルアクリルアミド(数平均分子量約2万、数平均分子量<1000の含量0%)を得た。
二軸延伸PENフィルムの一方の面に、大気圧プラズマ放電処理法を用いて、低密度層、中密度層、高密度層、中密度層のユニットを3層積層した透明ガスバリア性を持つ透明基板1を作製した。JIS K7129-1992に準拠した方法により水蒸気透過度を測定した結果、10-3g/(m2・24h)以下であった。JIS K7126-1987に準拠した方法により酸素透過度を測定した結果、10-3ml/(m2・24hr・MPa)以下であった。
[ITO基板]
透明基板1のバリア層のない面に、ITO(インジウムチンオキシド)をスパッタ法により150nm成膜した基板にフォトリソ法によりパターニングを行った後、イソプロピルアルコールに基板を浸漬し、超音波洗浄器ブランソニック3510J-MT(日本エマソン社製)により10分間の超音波洗浄処理を施し、ITO基板を作製した。
また、透明基板1のバリア層のない面に、銀ナノワイヤ分散液を、銀ナノワイヤの目付け量が0.06g/m2となるように、銀ナノワイヤ分散液をバーコート法を用いて塗布し120℃、20分乾燥加熱後、下記の金属微粒子除去液をスクリーン印刷を用いて、パターン印刷し、水洗により金属微粒子除去液を除去し、銀ナノワイヤ基板を作製した。

チオ硫酸アンモニウム 70g
マレイン酸 5.0g
純水で1Lに仕上げ、硫酸またはアンモニア水でpHを5.5に調整し、金属微粒子除去液を作製した。また、金属微粒子除去液の粘度をカルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム(SIGMA-ALDRICH社製;C5013 以下、CMCと略記する)で10Pa・s(10000cP)に調整した。
透明基板1のバリア層のない面に、第1透明電極として、下記の方法により、銅メッシュを作製し、前記金属微粒子除去液によるパターニングを行い、銅メッシュ基板を作製した。
下記の導電性ポリマーと水系バインダーの混合液A~Lを調製し、作製したITO基板に押し出し法を用いて幅40mm、乾燥膜厚100nm或いは300nmになるように、押し出しヘッドのスリット間隙を調整して塗布し、ふき取りにより不要部分をふき取った後、150℃、20分で加熱乾燥し、それぞれをITO電極1~16、21~24を作製した。

上記、導電性ポリマーと水系バインダー層塗布液B~G、K、Mは、分子中のポリヒドロキシ基とPEDOT-PSSとの間に架橋構造を形成し、150℃、20分で加熱乾燥した後の膜強度は、それぞれの単独膜に較べ硬度が向上していた。
透明性の評価として、東京電色社製 HAZE METER NDH5000を用いて、全光線透過率を測定した。デバイスでの光ロスから、75%以上であることが好ましい。

(透明導電層の導電性、平滑性)
透明導電層の導電性の評価として、まず、ガラス基板に塗布液A~Lを表1に記載の膜厚に押し出し法により押し出しヘッドのスリット間隙を調整して塗布し、150℃、20分間加熱乾燥した。そして、それらの基板を抵抗率計(ロレスタGP(MCP-T610型):(株)三菱化学アナリテック社製)を用いて表面抵抗を測定した。レンジオーバーで測定不可の試料については、3cm×3cmの試料を作製して、導電性ポリマー含有層上の対向する2辺に端から約2mmの幅で銀ペーストを塗布し、KEITHLEY製ソースメジャーユニット2400型を用いて、1Vの直流電圧を印加し、その時の電流値から1V/電流値を面抵抗値とした。導電性の観点から、1×107Ω/□以下であることが好ましい。測定の結果、すべての塗布液について、1×107Ω/□以下であった。

表1から、導電性ポリマー単体は異物や不純物の影響を減らすため膜厚を増やすと、透過率が大きく減少することがわかる。
ITO電極2~9、11~12、14~16、24、銀ナノワイヤ電極18、銅メッシュ電極20を有する基板を、超純水で洗浄した。洗浄液はMilli-Q水製造装置 Milli-Q Advantage(日本ミリポア(株))を用いて作製した超純水を用いた。各基板はロールtoロール方式で洗浄槽に曝し、1m/hの速度で送り出しを行った。洗浄の水量を1l/hとし、単槽洗浄を行った。さらに洗浄後、150℃、20分で電極の乾燥を行った。ITO電極10は洗浄せず、ITO電極2との洗浄の有無による性能差を見た。
各電極を用い、下記のようにして各有機EL素子を作製した。
142.68g(16.03ミリモルのナフィオン(登録商標)モノマー単位)SE-10072および173.45gの脱イオン水を500mlフラスコへ注ぎ込んだ。
有機ELデバイス1~25を下記の評価を行い、表2にまとめた。
得られた有機ELデバイス1~24において、初期の輝度を5000cd/m2で発光した時の電圧を駆動電圧とし、有機ELデバイス25に対する比率を求め、以下の指標で評価した。3以上が好ましく、4以上であることがより好ましい。

(寿命)
得られた有機ELデバイス1~25の、初期の輝度を5000cd/m2で連続発光させて、輝度が半減するまでの時間を求めた。有機ELデバイス25に対する比率を求め、以下の指標で評価し寿命として、表2に示す。2以上が好ましく、3以上であることがより好ましい。

(保存性)
任意にデバイスを選び、80℃のサーモ器で保存。12時間毎にサーモ器から取り出し、初期の1000cd/m2発光時の電圧を印加し、その時の輝度を測定、輝度が半減した時間を評価し、保存時間とした。有機ELデバイス25に対する比率を求め、以下の指標で評価した。2以上が好ましく、3以上であることがより好ましい。

評価した結果を表2に示す。
Claims (9)
- 透明基板上に、対向する第1透明電極と第2電極と、前記電極間に有機機能層とを有する有機電子デバイスにおいて、前記第1透明電極と有機機能層の間に少なくとも導電性ポリマーと水系バインダーを含有する透明導電層を有することを特徴とする有機電子デバイス。
- 前記導電性ポリマー若しくは水系バインダーの少なくとも一部が架橋されてなる透明導電層を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電子デバイス。
- 前記導電性ポリマーが、π共役系導電性高分子成分とポリ陰イオン成分とを含んで成る導電性ポリマーであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の有機電子デバイス。
- 前記ポリ陰イオン成分がポリスルホン酸基であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機電子デバイス。
- 前記透明導電層が湿式洗浄されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の有機電子デバイス。
- 前記透明導電層に隣接する有機機能層が正孔注入層であることを特徴とする請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の有機電子デバイス。
- 前記正孔注入層がフッ素(F)を有するポリ陰イオンを含有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の有機電子デバイス。
- 請求項1~8の何れか1項に記載の有機電子デバイスを製造する方法であって、少なくとも導電性ポリマーと水系バインダーを含有る透明導電層を塗布乾燥した後、100℃以上250℃以下の温度で5分以上の加熱処理を施すことを特徴とする有機電子デバイスの製造方法。
