Abstract
Description
ここで、第1筐体と第2筐体は、第1筐体の画像表示面を第2筐体の裏面によって覆うと共に第2筐体の画像表示面を露出させた全閉状態と、該全閉状態から第2筐体を移動させて両筐体の画像表示面を露出させ且つ第1筐体の画像表示面に対して第2筐体の画像表示面を90度以上、180度未満の開き角度で傾斜させたチルト状態と、該チルト状態から第2筐体を移動させて両筐体の画像表示面を同一平面上に露出させた全開状態との間で、相対移動可能に連結されている。
基端部が第1枢軸により第1筐体に連結されると共に、先端部が前記第1枢軸と平行な第2枢軸により第2筐体に連結されて、第1筐体の画像表示面を第2筐体の裏面によって覆うと共に第2筐体の画像表示面を露出させた全閉状態と、該全閉状態から第2筐体を移動させて両筐体の画像表示面を露出させ且つ第1筐体の画像表示面に対して第2筐体の画像表示面を90度以上、180度未満の開き角度で傾斜させたチルト状態と、該チルト状態から第2筐体を移動させて両筐体の画像表示面を同一平面上に露出させた全開状態との間で、両筐体を互いに相対移動可能に連結する連結アームと、
前記第2枢軸を中心として、前記連結アームに対して第2筐体を一方向に回転付勢する付勢手段と、
前記連結アーム上に設けられて、前記付勢手段による回転付勢に抗して第2筐体をチルト状態の傾斜角度にて受け止める受け止め手段と、
前記第1枢軸を中心として前記連結アームがチルト状態の回転角度まで回転したとき、該回転角度にて前記連結アームを軟係止する軟係止手段と、
前記第1枢軸を中心として前記連結アームが全開状態の回転角度まで回転し、両筐体の画像表示面が同一平面上に揃った状態で、第2筐体の端部を第1筐体の端部に係脱可能に係合させる係合手段
とを具えている。
チルト状態では、連結アームが軟係止手段により軟係止されて、チルト状態の回転角度に保持される。そして、この状態で第2筐体に作用する付勢手段の回転付勢力は、連結アーム上の受け止め手段によって受け止められる。この結果、第2筐体は第1筐体上で安定した姿勢に保持されることになる。
全開状態では、第2筐体に作用する付勢手段の回転付勢力が連結アーム上の受け止め手段によって受け止められた状態で、第2筐体の端部が第1筐体の端部に係脱可能に係合する。これによって、第2筐体は第1筐体に対して安定した姿勢に保持される。
これによって、両筐体の全閉状態では、左右一対の連結アームが第2筐体の背部に位置することなり、両連結アームがユーザの視線から隠れることになる。
これによって、第2筐体は、全閉状態からチルト状態への移行過程で、回転付勢によって起き上がる方向の力を受けることとなり、全閉状態からチルト状態への移行させるためのユーザ操作が容易なものとなる。
これによって、第2筐体は、チルト状態から全開状態への移行過程で、第2筐体の背面が連結アームの受け止め面により受け止められつつ、安定した姿勢で移動することになる。
これによって、第2筐体を全閉状態からチルト状態まで移動させる過程で、連結アームが前記一定の角度範囲内に入ると、該連結アームがチルト状態での回転角度に向けて付勢され、これに伴って第2筐体がチルト状態へ向けて付勢されるので、前記付勢手段による付勢と相俟って、第2筐体は、全閉状態で僅かに後方へ押圧するだけで、その後は自動的にチルト状態まで移動することになる。
ここで、前記連結機構は、前記全閉状態と全開状態の間で第1筐体と第2筐体を相対移動可能に連結する連結アームを具え、一方若しくは両方の筐体には、全閉姿勢で前記連結アームを収容すべき収容部が凹設されている。
又、第1筐体の両側面後端部には、全閉状態で前記一対の連結アームの第1アーム部を収容すべき収容部が凹設されると共に、第2筐体の背面両側部には、全閉状態で前記一対の連結アームの第2アーム部を収容すべき収容部が凹設されている。
そして全開状態では、一対の連結アームは、その殆ど全体が両筐体の背面側に隠れることになる。
例えば、前記スライド機構は前記連結機構と第2筐体との間に介在している。
本発明の一実施形態である携帯型電子機器は、図1~図8に示す如く、表面に第1画像表示面(11)を有する第1筐体(1)と、表面に第2画像表示面(21)を有する第2筐体(2)とが、連結機構(3)を介して互いに連結されている。
尚、以下の説明で携帯型電子機器の構成要素の各部位を特定する場合、図1に示された携帯型電子機器を、図中の矢印Sで示すユーザの視線に沿って見た場合の「前(手前側)」「後」「左」「右」を、他の図面においても、携帯型電子機器の姿勢に拘わらず「前」「後」「左」「右」と呼ぶ。
又、図2の如く、第1筐体(1)の背面には撮影レンズ(9)が配備されている。
一方、第2筐体(2)の内部には、図17の如く第2画像表示面(21)に面して第2タッチパネル(23)と第2ディスプレイ(22)が配備されている。
図26に示す如く、金属プレート(101)(201)の端部とタッチパネル(13)(23)の端部とは、両面粘着テープ(102)(202)によって互いに貼着固定されている。
連結アーム(31)は、両筐体の画像表示面に直交する面上でL字形状に屈曲するL字状を呈し、該L字形状の角部にて互いに交叉する第1アーム部(35)と第2アーム部(36)から構成されている。
両ヒンジ部材(5)(51)は図18に示す如く第2筐体(2)の背部に収容されている。
又、第1筐体(1)に内蔵されている電子部品と第2筐体(2)に内蔵されている電子部品とは、フレキシブルリード(7)によって互いに接続されている。該フレキシブルリード(7)は、第2筐体(2)の内部から連結アーム(31)の内部を経て第1筐体(1)の内部へ伸びており、その長さには、第1筐体(1)と第2筐体(2)の相対移動を許容し得る余裕が設けられている。
尚、図5及び図6に示す回動全開状態では、連結部材(32)が第1筐体(1)によって受け止められることにより、連結部材(32)は回動全開状態の回転角度に保持される。
一方、第2筐体(2)の背面両側部には、連結部材(32)のアーム連結部(37)と第2アーム部(36)(36)とを収容すべき収容部(204)(203)(203)が凹設されている。
上述の如くスライド部材(83)が前後方向にスライドすることによって、一対の突片(86)(87)内、何れか一方の突片が図20の如くマグネット(88)と接触することになる。
この結果、図24(b)及び図25(b)に示すスライド全開状態では、凸部(10)と凹部(20)の係合によって第1筐体(1)と第2筐体(2)とが互いに連結され、第1画像表示面(11)と第2画像表示面(21)とが同一平面上に揃った状態が維持される。
ここで寸法aは、キャビネットの端面からディスプレイ(12)(22)の画像表示エリアまでの距離、寸法bは、画像表示面(11)(21)の端縁から画像表示エリアまでの距離、寸法hは金属プレート(101)(201)の厚さ、寸法iは、金属プレート(101)(201)のキャビネット表面からの落とし込み量である。
これによって、第2筐体(2)は第2画像表示面(21)を上方若しくは斜め上方に向けたまま後方へ移動することになる。
この連結アーム(31)の回転に伴って第2筐体(2)は後方へ向けて回動し、最終的に第1画像表示面(11)と第2画像表示面(21)とが同一平面上に揃うことになる。
この結果、図7に示す如く第1画像表示面(11)と第2画像表示面(21)とが互いに接近して、両画像表示面(11)(21)によって1つの大きな画面が形成されることになる。
ここで、何れの状態でも図示の如く連結アーム(31)の接地点よりも第1筐体(1)側に重心Gがくる様に、第1筐体(1)と第2筐体(2)に対する部品の配置や連結アーム(31)のL字形状が設計されており、これによって両筐体(1)(2)の姿勢の安定化が図られている。

Claims (15)
- 第1筐体と第2筐体が互いに連結され、両筐体の表面にはそれぞれ画像表示面が設けられ、両筐体が互いに重なった全閉状態と、前記全閉状態から第2筐体を移動させて両筐体の画像表示面を露出させ且つ第1筐体の画像表示面に対して第2筐体の画像表示面を90度以上、180度未満の開き角度で傾斜させたチルト状態と、両筐体の画像表示面を同一平面上に揃えた全開状態の3つの状態を選択的に設定することが可能であって、全閉状態、チルト状態及び全開状態のそれぞれにて、第1筐体に対する第2筐体の姿勢を保持することが可能である携帯型電子機器。
- 第1筐体と第2筐体が互いに連結され、両筐体の表面にはそれぞれ画像表示面が設けられている携帯型電子機器において、
第1筐体と第2筐体は、第1筐体の画像表示面を第2筐体の裏面によって覆うと共に第2筐体の画像表示面を露出させた全閉状態と、該全閉状態から第2筐体を移動させて両筐体の画像表示面を露出させ且つ第1筐体の画像表示面に対して第2筐体の画像表示面を90度以上、180度未満の開き角度で傾斜させたチルト状態と、該チルト状態から第2筐体を移動させて両筐体の画像表示面を同一平面上に露出させた全開状態との間で、相対移動可能に連結され、
全閉状態、チルト状態及び全開状態の間で状態を移行させる状態移行手段を具え、該状態移行手段は、チルト状態にて第1筐体に対する第2筐体の姿勢を軟係止すると共に、全開状態にて第2筐体の端部を第1筐体の端部に係脱可能に係合させることを特徴とする携帯型電子機器。 - 第1筐体と第2筐体が互いに連結され、両筐体の表面にはそれぞれ画像表示面が設けられている携帯型電子機器において、
基端部が第1枢軸により第1筐体に連結されると共に、先端部が前記第1枢軸と平行な第2枢軸により第2筐体に連結されて、第1筐体の画像表示面を第2筐体の裏面によって覆うと共に第2筐体の画像表示面を露出させた全閉状態と、該全閉状態から第2筐体を移動させて両筐体の画像表示面を露出させ且つ第1筐体の画像表示面に対して第2筐体の画像表示面を90度以上、180度未満の開き角度で傾斜させたチルト状態と、該チルト状態から第2筐体を移動させて両筐体の画像表示面を同一平面上に露出させた全開状態との間で、両筐体を互いに相対移動可能に連結する連結アームと、
前記第2枢軸を中心として、前記連結アームに対して第2筐体を一方向に回転付勢する付勢手段と、
前記連結アーム上に設けられて、前記付勢手段による回転付勢に抗して第2筐体をチルト状態の傾斜角度にて受け止める受け止め手段と、
前記第1枢軸を中心として前記連結アームがチルト状態の回転角度まで回転したとき、該回転角度にて前記連結アームを軟係止する軟係止手段と、
前記第1枢軸を中心として前記連結アームが全開状態の回転角度まで回転し、両筐体の画像表示面が同一平面上に揃った状態で、第2筐体の端部を第1筐体の端部に係脱可能に係合させる係合手段
とを具えたことを特徴とする携帯型電子機器。 - 前記連結アームは、第1筐体及び第2筐体の左右両端部にそれぞれ配備され、各連結アームは、基端部が第1枢軸により第1筐体の側部に連結されると共に、先端部が第2枢軸により第2筐体の背部に連結されている請求項3に記載の携帯型電子機器。
- 前記付勢手段は、第2筐体を、チルト状態での第2筐体の画像表示面の開き角度を縮小する方向に回転付勢するものである請求項3に記載の携帯型電子機器。
- 前記受け止め手段は、連結アームの基端部と先端部の間に形成されてチルト状態にて第2筐体の背面の一部が当接すべき受け止め面によって構成されている請求項3又は請求項4に記載の携帯型電子機器。
- 前記軟係止手段は、第1筐体に対して、連結アームをチルト状態での回転角度を中心とする一定の角度範囲内でチルト状態での回転角度に向けて付勢するヒンジユニットによって構成されている請求項3乃至請求項5の何れかに記載の携帯型電子機器。
- 第1筐体と第2筐体が連結機構を介して互いに連結され、両筐体の表面にはそれぞれ画像表示面が設けられており、第1筐体の画像表示面を第2筐体の裏面によって覆うと共に第2筐体の画像表示面を露出させた全閉状態と、該全閉状態から第2筐体を移動させて両筐体の画像表示面を同一平面上に露出させた全開状態の少なくとも2つの状態を選択的に設定することが可能な携帯型電子機器において、前記連結機構は、前記全閉状態と全開状態の間で第1筐体と第2筐体を相対移動可能に連結する連結アームを具え、何れか一方若しくは両方の筐体には、全閉姿勢で前記連結アームを収容すべき収容部が凹設されていることを特徴とする携帯型電子機器。
- 第1筐体と第2筐体が連結機構を介して互いに連結され、両筐体の表面にはそれぞれ画像表示面が設けられており、第1筐体の画像表示面を第2筐体の裏面によって覆うと共に第2筐体の画像表示面を露出させた全閉状態と、該全閉状態から第2筐体を移動させて両筐体の画像表示面を同一平面上に露出させた全開状態の少なくとも2つの状態を選択的に設定することが可能な携帯型電子機器において、
前記連結機構は、両筐体の連結方向とは直交する左右方向の両端部に配備された一対の連結アームを具え、各連結アームは、両筐体の画像表示面と交叉する面上でL字状に屈曲するL字形状を呈して、該L字形状の角部で交叉する第1アーム部と第2アーム部とを有し、第1アーム部の端部が第1枢軸により第1筐体に連結されると共に、第2アーム部の端部が前記第1枢軸と平行な第2枢軸により第2筐体に連結され、
第1筐体の両側面後端部には、全閉状態で前記一対の連結アームの第1アーム部を収容すべき収容部が凹設されると共に、第2筐体の背面両側部には、全閉状態で前記一対の連結アームの第2アーム部を収容すべき収容部が凹設されていることを特徴とする携帯型電子機器。 - 前記一対の連結アームの角部どうしがアーム連結部により互いに連結されて、一体の連結部材が構成されており、第2筐体の背面後端部には、全閉状態で前記アーム連結部を収容する収容部が凹設されている請求項9に記載の携帯型電子機器。
- 第1筐体と第2筐体が連結機構を介して互いに連結され、両筐体の表面にはそれぞれ画像表示面が設けられており、第1筐体の画像表示面を第2筐体の裏面によって覆うと共に第2筐体の画像表示面を露出させた全閉状態と、該全閉状態から第2筐体を移動させて両筐体の画像表示面を同一平面上に露出させた全開状態の少なくとも2つの状態を選択的に設定することが可能な携帯型電子機器において、両筐体の画像表示面を同一平面上に露出させた全開状態で第2筐体を第1筐体側へスライドさせるためのスライド機構を具えていることを特徴とする携帯型電子機器。
- 前記スライド機構は、前記連結機構と第2筐体との間に介在している請求項11に記載の携帯型電子機器。
- 前記連結機構は、基端部が第1枢軸により第1筐体に連結されると共に、先端部が前記第1枢軸と平行な第2枢軸により第2筐体に連結された連結アームを具え、該連結アームは、全閉状態の回転角度と全開状態の回転角度との間で回転が可能であり、前記スライド機構は、第2筐体にスライド可能に配備されたスライド部材を具え、該スライド部材に連結アームの先端部が枢支され、連結アームと第2筐体には、全開状態にて互いに摺接すべき受け止め面とスライド面とが形成され、スライド部材がスライドする過程で、第2筐体のスライド面が連結アームの受け止め面上を摺動する請求項11又は請求項12に記載の携帯型電子機器。
- 第1筐体と第2筐体を構成するキャビネット壁の内、全開状態にて前記スライド機構によるスライドに伴って互いに接近離間すべき2つの端面壁がそれぞれ、金属製のプレートによって形成されている請求項11乃至請求項13の何れかに記載の携帯型電子機器。
- 更に、全開状態にて前記スライド機構によるスライドに伴って互いに接近離間すべき両筐体の対向部に、互いに係脱可能な係合機構が設けられている請求項11乃至請求項14の何れかに記載の携帯型電子機器。
