Abstract

Chemical process for the production of manganese sulfate (MnSO4) from the chemical reaction of the pirolusite (manganese bioxide MnO2) ore with gasses containing sulfur dioxide (SO2), through the direct reaction of the sulfur (gas) with the manganese bioxide (solid) for the production of manganese sulfate, enabling its later purification and adequacy to the commercial and industrial use.
